I obtained 5 estimates for my roofing repair. Only Joseph took the time (spent half hour) to explain in details on the necessary repairs. I found him to be very knowledgeable in this field. He won the job hands down compared to other contractors. The rate was competitive and reasonable. Joseph gave me sense of trustworthiness. My intuition was right. Joseph is one honest contractor. No bait and switch, no low-balling. The work was completed as stated in the contract. Communication was A-plus. He kept me updated on the work process during the whole job. His staff worked diligently, started promptly at 8:00 am each day. The job supposed to take a week to complete. Joseph had team of 7 staff to finish the job in 3 days. The workmanship was impeccable. All debris was removed from the property. No afterward clean-up needed. I am one satisfied customer. Good old fashion honest contractor is hard to find now-a-days. I was lucky to find Joseph. I highly recommend him 100%.

The team at Joseph Ashley did a great job at ripping up and replacing our roof. From the initial assessment and quoting, to the time they came to do the work, they were very punctual and responsive. They left it better than the prior roofer. They laid the bitumen membranes up the side of the parapet walls and terminated with aluminum termination bars as well as on the chimney. They replaced our vents and added a new one to help with ventilation. In addition, they built a new curb and helped us install a brand new skylight which we're so excited about. Overall, we're very pleased with how it came out. The only negative is the smell from the solvent fumes that gets exacerbated from the heat. It's been a week and still hasn't fully cleared out but opening windows has definitely helped.

Here's the thing. A roof is (hopefully) a once-in-a-lifetime job, a huge responsibility, a real expense, with no place for amateurs. ACJ Remodeling (Joseph Ashley Custom Home Remodeling/Roofing and Siding) has 40+ years experience, an excellent, resp ectful, hard-working crew, no sub-contractors and a dedicated owner who rides himself on fine work and great communication. I did a ton of research. I only interviewed 5-star companies . I phoned past customers, I asked lots of questions. I got educated in understanding this major job, its realities and expectations. Whenever I reached out, I got an immediate response. Whenever I looked outside, the owner was checking on everything, making sure I was happy with the work. And the result is beautiful. An hour after they finished, a stranger told me so. Don't even think twice. Hire them!

ACJ Remodeling team was great. I am very happy with the job well done. I had my roof replaced and my gutters too. I also added the garage roof and part of the gutter later. I had a minor issue with the garage gutter lead which the supervisor plan to remedy after the holiday. So far I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing roof repair or replacement. Team is very efficient and professional. They also clean up at the end of the day and every day they worked on my property. What I most liked is that if there is any issue they come back and resolve it promptly satisfying the customer. Great Job Guys and Kudos to the Team.

I found Joe through Angi List. Used him to redo my mother's roof. From day one till the end Joe was extremely professional and everything we discuss went as planned. Communication at its finest. Old school contractor which you rarely find anymore. Straightforward to the point and backs up what he tells you, calls you back and shows up. He even dealt with the insurance company as to make sure there would be no issues come renewal time. (State Farm would not renew policy unless a new roof was installed) I highly recommend Joe and will definitely used again when needed for additional projects.

Working with Joe was really great. He's excellent at communicating and his team works quickly and respectfully of us and our neighbors. Since we have a dog, it was very important that everything was carefully cleaned every day. They were also great with our dog! The onsite manager was there all day as well as the engineer and both spoke perfect English. Joe worked with us to beat other quotes and fully replace our roof, down to the wood boards. The final surface goes all the way up to the coping and all the materials are clearly premium. As you can see in the photos, it looks superb.

If I could give more than five stars I would!!! Joseph and his crew did a fantastic job replacing my roof. Joe checked in with me every day, sent photos, and explained what needed to be done—and, most importantly for me, why I needed a new roof. He was responsive, professional, and made the whole process simple. I wasn’t expecting to need a new roof and was stressed to say the least, but he put me at ease. His team—Caesar, Angel, and the rest—were punctual, polite, and very meticulous. They showed up right at 8, worked steadily through the day, and cleaned up so well you wouldn’t even know they’d been there. They finished the job quicker than I expected, and the quality of their work is excellent. I had quotes from three other companies, and Joseph stood out from the start. He gave me the best price, but more importantly, I felt I could trust him.

From the first call, Joseph (the owner) was very professional, pleasure to communicate with, responsive, responsible. He and his team of professionals did a great job replacing the whole roof in our large 3 story house, including all the wood under shingle. ACJ Remodeling Inc owned and operated by Joe Ashley is a highly professional organization. All work and done as agreed to in our contract and there were no sudden additional costs added. The price in the contract was what I paid – no more. The house looks new. The crew is very professional they arrived on the promised first day and all other day at 8:00am and work with a lunch break till 5:00 pm. They were careful not to cause any damage to my house or both of my neighbors. At the end of each day, they did an excellent clen up including picking stray nails. They were very careful with my wife’s flowers and vegetable plants, and none were damaged or died. Joe Ashley is easy to work with, very responsive to questions and requests. When he promises something, he delivers. I highly recommend ACJ Remodeling Inc if you need any roof work.
