ACL Painting

Mike was very professional. I bought a deal for $899 but because I was covering dark color with white and vice versa, he had to use more paint so it cost more than the deal. He did save me money since I didn't have to purchase a new door handle. He sanded the old door handle and transformed it from a brownish color to its original gold. I was very pleased with the paint job. <br />

Horrible.   Paint where it wasn't supposed to be; no paint where it should be.   Nothing taped or protected - keyholes and locks painted over, wasp nest painted over (and not "corrected" even after notification), screens painted to windows, paint on windows and elsewhere.   Spent months going over and "cleaning" messes and haven't finished yet.   Total disappointment.   They wanted to get through the work too quickly - seemed like a rush job for them.  When paint is sprayed around light fixtures in such a way that the fixtures have paint "mist" on them and there is no paint on the wall behind them, I can't say how disappointing it is.   In the end, they had to offer to paint an extra component of my carport - because they couldn't correct the errors they had made.  And...it cost more than it should have.   Did the house look better?  Of course!   All houses do from a distance.   But...when near the house, all mistakes are seen.   I would have written this sooner but...I expect professionals to behave and perform professionally.   I do NOT expect to have to take the time to write out (and photograph as I did) the sloppy handling of my property.   I haven't have time to write the kind of report this company deserved and will end it here but...feel that others should be wary of this team.  My photos can speak for themselves should anyone wish to see them. <br />

They did a good job, and they were easy to work with. Men were courteous and professional while in the home.

The service went fine. I had them paint all of the interior walls and trim. I paid an additional fee to have them paint the trim and cover more footage. They even did some minor repairs at no additional charge. I thought that was very nice of them. Three painters came out and completed the work in 5 days. I thought they did a good job. The father/son combo did a great job but their helper was not so good. They also did not do a good job cleaning up after themselves. I asked them to clean their brushes in the backyard and I found paint in my sinks. The stairs were also dirty and I had to get them professionally cleaned. Overall, considering they painted the entire house, the service went well. I had no problem scheduling the deal and they came out when they said they would.

It was great. The job took longer than they said it would. They did about half of the job and came back at a later date to finish. The house looks great. They did a great job with the cleanup. They sent 2 painters out to do the job.

It was just ok. They power washed then didn't clean off the doors so you can see remnants of dirt and grass within the paint. There are several sections where large drips are running down the eaves. There are areas where thee paint is missing. I admit that I did not call to have them come back to fix it but that was because I felt that the quality would not be good so I should just do it myself. <br />

Here we are in September, and they are still not done with the job. They've had to come out three times to do touch-ups, but they were not satisfactory. In fact, they even painted the trim the same color as the walls, and they weren't supposed to do that. We ended up having to remove the paint on the trim ourselves because they wouldn't correct it. We are still missing the wall plates for the plugs because they were not put back on, as well as the light fixtures in the ceiling. They also got paint all over our cabinets, and its still not corrected. They never even put down the plastic to protect the counters and floors.  <br /> <br /> The over all quality of the job, for the price that we paid, was extremely poor. We are not happy with the work, and the communication between us them has been terrible. Once we paid them, there was no urgency to get things done. They keep promising to come and finalize the work, but they will not show up or call.

Everything, including scheduling, went fine.  They did everything they said they were going to do.

The quality of the work was poor and did not do the wall texture that we told the painter to do and did not want to fix it.

The painters did an outstanding job with all facets of the job.  Prepped the rooms well, wore the proper painting attire, covered their shoes w/plastic booties, moved furniture around to avoid any drips/splashes.  Very attention to detail, great work ethic, very pleasant to be around.  Highly recommend this group....outstanding workmanship. <br />

<p>They did all the moving of the furniture, put everything back and were very neat and clean. But, they moved everything. We didn't have to do any prep work. They took everything off the walls and they hung everything back up. It was really nice. We're going to use them for exterior, and like I said, we referred them to other people who have used them.</p>

That worked out fine.  We were really pleased.  He subcontracted it to somebody else but he kept in touch.  We were pleased with the work.  It was good.

It went well. I wasn't around when he was there, I had a contractor there to let him in, but the work was good. They didn't pain certain areas of the house because it had wallpaper and they didn't understand how I wanted the wallpaper painted. What I liked is that they came back and fixed their mistakes right away and apologized and there was no extra charge.

We've used them in the past and they were very professional, quick and courteous. I would use them again.

I ended up paying another $1000. They painted a number f rooms because the wall space was suppose to be 2000 square feet. They did the job but the people who worked weren't regular workers because they did a lot of little things that kind of got under my skin. The work had to be redone but I wouldn't give them an 'A'. They came out about  3 weeks after I bought the deal.

Ron Sr and Ron Jr did a fantastic job!  They are exceptionally experienced and had great suggestions on color choice.  They are like artists in wanting the house to look great.  They went out of their way to add some touches that made a huge difference. They are also perfectionists which means they took pride in making sure every aspect of this job was done to their expectations. I am absolutely satisfied with the job and extremely pleased with how my house looks.  I would definitely hire this company again. <br />
