ACME Roofing

I was very impressed with ACME Roofing. The quote was reasonable. The salesman, Joe, came out on time and was quick with a quote. I wanted a cover up and not a strip as I only had one layer. He said he would have to inspect my roof to see if it was a good candidate. He assured me it was. After agreeing to the quote he had the roof scheduled within a week. I was impressed that they didn't ask for a deposit. A handshake got the job rolling. Shingle selection was easy and once everything was agreed, I signed for the job to start. The technicians came out on time as scheduled. It was one of the hottest days of the summer and I was concerned about the heat. The installers worked throughout the day, wanting to get the job done. It didn't matter to me if it took another day as I was concerned about the heat. They pushed through it. They did need to come back the following day but that was only because they needed more material. They came back on time the next day and finished within hours. The roof looks great. You can't tell that it's a cover up. Tim came out to inspect the finished job and found a few very minor things to correct. I was impressed by this as I wouldn't have known any difference. Overall I can't speak highly enough about ACME. On time, professional, quality controlled. Above that, I have the assurance that if I ever have any issues, problems or even simple questions, ACME will be here to help in any way. Roofs last 20 years or more. ACME will be around in the future so if I ever have a need I know I can call. I feel part of the ACME family which is a very comfortable feeling. 5 stars is not enough. The salesman was polite and informative..and very nice. I got three bids and two were close, but because of the salesman at Acme, I felt most comfortable with Acme. The roofers were very nice and attentive to their job, even though one day was in the 90s. They worked hard, cleaned up when finished...I couldn't be happier with all of them.

I called in the morning and they came out the following morning - on time and even a little early. It was quickly determined that the roof vents were cracked and they were replaced and caulked in less than an hour. Both the office person and Tim, the repairman were very nice to deal with. Tim gave me his card with his cell number in case I need him to come back. They advised me ahead of time that the minimum charge for repairs was $350, so I wasn't surprised, but it is a lot for an hour of work. Others I called quoted similar prices so I guess that's how it goes! I would use them again (hopefully I won't need to!) and I recommend them.

Great work done.. Very professional. Great contact.. Jay (boss/estimator) and Tim (project manager) did a great job. The work was done at a reasonable cost; I got many estimates and they were among the best. The work was done quickly and professionally. While other companies that also did an estimate blew us off after the fact and didn't even bother contacting us again, Jay stayed in constant contact making sure that our needs were met. We are very happy and would recommend this company and hire them again. Great job, Guys!!!

<p>The big roof companies seem to be more focused on profits.  The small companies are just downright scary.  You need a midsize company that is hungry for business, has a solid background and really professional employees.  Acme fit the bill perfectly.  Jay Clement really helped me jump off the precipice which was very daunting considering the size and cost of our project.  He listened to what I wanted and came back with a great quote that included FAR MORE than I received with any of the other seven roof bids.  I went with the Malarkey shingle which is one of the few shingle manufactures without class action lawsuits and is located in Oregon, take a look at their website.  I found them when I was checking out some roofers blogs and was impressed with the chatter about how great the Legacy shingle performs in a hurricane.  Acme was one of the few roofers who knew about Malarkey and used them because they wanted to install a good product.  The installation was on our 4-plex with a 7200 square foot roof with 6 skylights, four dormer garage roofs and multiple valleys.  The job took four days and the crew worked from 8am to 7pm until they were finished, including Saturday.   They used a large truck for disposal instead of a dumpster, so no driveway damage.  We did have some blocked vents but they got it fixed right away and went above board to fix a problem vent they didn’t have to.  Jay’s mantra was “we will make it right”.   Everything was cleaned up and we had no tenant complaints.   The crew was friendly and professional.  <br></p> <br> <br> <br> <br>

Very positive, easy to work with. By far the best job with best quality materials. Done within 2 days and has a great warranty. They used Pabco roofing materials.

Very good contractor! Crew of 5 showed up at 830am to start taking the 2 layers of shingles off which was done by 2 o'clock. Tarps were used during demo to help protect plants and garden area from any shingles that had accidentally fallen. The owner came out around 11 to check on the site and make sure I was happy and to answer any questions. Very accommodating willing and wanting to work with the homeowner. The crew took pride in there workmanship and my new roof defiantly shows that! The crew finished the roof at 745 and cleaned up and left by 8. The roofers were a qualitlty hard working team that I felt comfortable with. However a little more expensive then others, you can defiantly see where the money goes. The communications, scheduling, attention to detail and a higher quality crew. Two days after completion the owner came to the site to walk the roof with me. He answer any questions I had and explain in-depth how certain thing worked ie chimney flashing. He went as far to paint the white PVC pipes for my furnace and water heater to black to match the roof better. Small things that might be over looked by others spencer caught and focused on to make them right. <br />
