Both experiences were positive. All workers showed courtesy and respect. All work was professionally done. Each worker made a serious effort to do his work well. Our property was safe. At the end of each day work areas were cleaned prior to workers leaving. Acra's design center was inspiring. I chose to do much of the shopping from it. That extended the project of a kitchen renovation to a whole house experience! With the most recent project the sheet metal backing for a specific door and replacing wood molding meets the need to protect the area from further damage. We were pleased with all aspects of our experience!

We had a great experience with Acra as the company worked with us on design, appropriate product selection, and execution of projects. The entire crew was professional, timely, and tidy. Any changes we requested changes through the construction process were done without problems. We love our new kitchen and bathrooms! Acra was great to work with and we will definitely hire the company for any future projects!

We are very pleased with our new kitchen. One of the cabinets needed a complete rebuild after it was installed and they did a wonderful job. We still have some work to be done but I am sure it will be done well. In the past we have also had a bathroom remodel done and were very pleased.

Started in January finished in mid February. I wasn't here for the most part because it was outside and I work so they came when it was convienent.

They came out and did some other work for me. I had bees in my ceiling so I had honey running down my wall. They came a cut a hole in the ceiling and pulled out all the rest of the honey comb and patched it up. It started in December and then it went on over a period of time between my schedule and their schedule. They had to wait for stuff to air out and dry so it went on over 4-6 weeks. I had it wrapped into something else because i had some dry rot on the front porch so they had to come and dismantle part of the tile on the front porch and prop it up and take out all the bad wood and put in new wood. It was kind of a messy project.

Fantastic! They really put their heart and souls into this church building.

Great! The estimated time of completion was a little short, but it wasn't a problem. The shower turned out beautifully and we love the vessel sink and cascade faucet!

Very well. A competitive price, the job nicely done, and ahead of schedule. Will definitely use them again for any future projects.

Acra was very tolerant while we selected the type, design and size of tile of material.  The installation staff was very professional and tolerant to our needs during construction. <br />

Initial contact with Acra was in mid November and went relatively smoothly.  My wife and I made our wants known and received a ball park estimate of the cost.   We left a down payment of approximately half the cost for the project as it was needed to start purchasing supplies.  This is normal and was expected.  <br /> Project start date was set for the end of the first week in January to allow for holidays to pass without rushing any of the subcontractors.  The only problem we encountered is that Acra wanted to rush the tear out before any of  the actual installation was really ready.  This made it difficult on my wife and I as we intended to live in the house while the work proceeded.  Consequently we were without any sinks in the house except for the deep sink in the garage for a period of three days.  I believe that the work could have been staggered or compressed so as to prevent this lag time.  <br /> There were six sub contractors involved besides Acra's own tear out and touch up technicians.  All of the subcontractors and the Acra technicians performed admirably.  We were very satisfied with their work.  This involved the following: <br /> -  Electrical: Addition of electrical outlet, changing and addition of lighting fixtures and switching for same. <br /> -  Plumbing: Changing of water heater and addition of hot water recirculating system, Installation of four sinks in the two bathrooms and kitchen, installation of new toilets and new faucets and fixtures in same. <br /> -  Granite suppliers:  Providing three acceptable slabs of 3 cm Creama de Bordeau Brazilian Granite. <br /> -  Granite fabricators:  Measuring, cutting, polishing and installation of counters in kitchen and two bathrooms. <br /> -  Tile installers:  Install back splash in kitchen. <br /> -  Mirror fabricators:  Installation of three custom mirrors in the two bathrooms. <br /> Of all these the only problems we ran into is with the materials supplied by the buyers at Acra as follows. <br /> -   One of the bathroom sinks initially ordered was broken and not noticed until the day it had to be delivered tothe granite fabricators.  This could have caused a major delay but Acra owned up and replaced with better sinks purchased in Tucson. <br /> -   The wire baskets ordered for the kitchen sink were ordered in the wrong size.  This did not cause a delay in the work but is inconvenient for us as the sinks are not protected from scratches while the new baskets arrive. <br /> Considering the magnitude of the project, these delays were relatively miner and cause no real additional inconvenience. <br /> <br />

Everything went quite well except the vendor that did the shower, sink tops and vanity top was awful. The sinks had to be sent back four times, and each time it took two to three weeks for them to return. They were beautiful when we finally got the final product, but we were without totally workable bathrooms for about two months. We brushed our teeth in the kitchen sink, could not have people over, because they could use the toilets, but could not wash their hands. They would have had to come out to the kitchen to do that. The workers were very good and very friendly. The plumbers (Preferred Plumbing) were exceptional. The tilers were exceptional. The cabinets were lovely. The only thing that spoiled the experience was the company that did the sink counters.

It went good. There was one little mess up on the countertop but they did fix it. If the person in charge would have been on the job more often I believe that mistake most likely wouldn't have been made. When the contractors had made the mistake I called him to take a look at it.

The man assigned to the project, Mark, was promptly at our house from 7:45 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. or later every day for 11 days. Some added work we requested made him decide on his own to come in on a Saturday in order to stay on schedule. We offered coffee, soda, water but he didn't want to break his work stride. He didn't want to eat lunch. He never even used the rest room while on the job!!! This man was the most dedicated, professional construction specialist I have ever met. (I was a construction OSHA safety administrator for a major corporation in Chicago.) Mark worked with integrity and had amazing attention to detail. Carl, the company owner was so easy to work with it was like dealing with a trusted friend. His showroom has every option we needed. I would readily recommend this company to any friend or family member. <br />

Acra's designer, Gabby, went out of her way to obtain an unusual backsplash material for me and it turned out to be stunning. She has a great eye for both design and practicality.  Bob, my project manager, responded quickly to phone calls and questions.  The rip out of the old counters got messier than I thought it would but the original granite tile had been set into about 3/4" of concrete.  Concrete particles got pretty widely disbursed so there was quite a bit of clean up inside my lower cabinets.  The subs Acra engaged were very professional.  From rip out to finished was only 3 days. Acra is not the cheapest  licensed contractor for this kind of work in Green Valley but you get the quality you pay for. <br />

From the start, the ACRA employees, especially Brett and Dana went the extra mile. They were responsive, respectful, friendly, efficient and very skilled. We were so impressed to get a line by line estimate. We could say more!!!!

Took a long time to get the job done.. Also high priced. The workers that did the job were excellent however and did a good job so I am satisfied. If I had to do over again I would have shopped around for another quote. In fairness to Acra they really specialize in bigger jobs I think and had to work this job in I am sure.

They did what they said they would do,  and gave me a 5% sen discount.  The price was a little higher than I thought it would be, but they did a good job.  I have no complaints and they didn't charge me for picking up parts.
