Very poorly. Poor service and professionalism. The refrigerator still does not work, and Action won’t return my calls.

We are new to area. Found two local companies on Angie's List. Left message with one company who didn't return call. Called Action next day. Tom came same day, quickly determined problem and ordered parts. Called a few days later to say parts were in. We scheduled appointment at OUR convenience. He came when scheduled, quickly installed parts. No more squeal!

I called one day when my dryer stopped working, and the next day he showed up. He knew exactly what the problem was before even taking anything apart. He went out to his van and came back with the part. ~ $50 for service plus part and my dryer was working again.
Repairman was very friendly and efficient. He fixed it in great time and didn't take.long and ruin my whole day. He was prompt in keeping to his appointment time as well. He seemed knowledgeable of my product and didn't seem to overcharge for the work done. Pa

DON'T DO IT, DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!
Five trips over two months, still not fixed. This company does not come when scheduled, will not return phone calls, and doesn't seem to really care; much less know what they are doing. Sometimes you get a recording, often no answer at all. There is no need to cover two months of B.S. point by point. It would take to long. Bottom line - this company has no business being in business.
While remodeling the laundry room, I found water under the washer. I assumed the washer had a leak, so my wife called Action Appliance (got the name from a friend) for diagnosis and repair. Tom came to diagnose the problem. After looking at the machine for a couple minutes told my wife that a valve appeared to be leaking. He said he saw water deposits on it. My wife asked if that leak would explain the water on the floor. Tom said yes. They agreed on a total repair price of around $220 and Tom required a $100 deposit. He said he would order the part, return another day and install the part.
He returned 12 days later with the wrong part. A couple days after that, my wife called Action Appliance to find out when the proper part would be installed. She was told the part was backordered and they didn't know when it would be in.
Based on the slow service up to this point in time, I became suspicous. So I checked the internet for parts and it appeared I could order a valve for my washer from several sources and the part I thought I needed was in stock. Before taking action, however, I needed to verify the exact part Tom said was leaking.
That evening, I had my wife show me the valve Tom was replacing. I examined it and could not see any evidence of a leak. There was no water deposit on it and there was no evidence of any water running out of it or any other place on the washer. I checked the entire washing machine and could see no evidence of a leak.
At that point, I decided to do a live test in hopes of seeing the actual leak. When I did that, I found the source of the leak, but it wasn't the washing machine. It was an uncapped pipe next to the washer where I had removed an old sink long before but had failed to cap the drain pipe. When the washer pumped it's water out, water would spash out that drain pipe and onto the floor next to the washer. The washer was perfectly fine. No leaks anywhere.
The next day I called Action Appliance to report what I found and cancel the repair. I talked to the gal who answered the phone and she said Tom needed to talk to me. I told her that would be great since I wanted Tom to come and show me the evidence he saw of a leaky valve. Needless-to-say, Tom never called me back.
Tom's diagnosis should have been "no leaks visible." Rather, for some reason, he quickly concluded that a perfectly good valve needed to be replaced. His service was unacceptably slow. I can only conclude that they are also incompetent in the office where parts are ordered.
Stay away from this company unless you don't mind paying for unnecessary parts and repairs. Their service is slow and inaccurate (at best).
Two year old frig stopped cooling. The first tech determined part needed. We called after a week--he had not placed the part order--he then called the mfgr who said the part he decscribed didn't exist and needed some other part. He ordered it--after five more days another tech came to install it. Says he not sure the part he installed was the problem. We had to call him back because the frig still wasn't cooling. He gathered his tools and said get your hair dryer and melt the ice and he left. So it took three visits for someone to notice ice build up on the cooling unit. After paying them $250 total ($130 for a less than $10 part which was most likely not the problem). I spent 1.5 hrs de-icing the unit and now the frig is cooling. We waited too long for the part and paid too much for too little. The technicians were not qualified to diagnose. Will NEVER use this company again.

I called on Saturday am and they were willing to come down on Saturday, but we were going out of town, so they said they
would come on Monday. They came Monday afternoon and in a few minutes my dryer was fixed. I would call Action again and recommend Action Appliance.

So... THREE MONTHS without an oven and they finally send out the repaired board with... GUESS WHO? The same guy that couldn't take the oven apart in the first place. He says it is more than he can handle and starts to walk out the door. I call the same awful customer service woman... tell her that we haven't had an oven in three months and they have to send out someone TODAY that can fix this... she screams at me on the phone... meanwhile the guy is trying to get out the door with the main board to our oven that WE OWN and he will not give it back to me... I leave the screaming woman on the phone and try to stop the guy from going out the door with the part to our oven that we own... he says we haven't paid for it yet and I say I will pay CASH right now for it... but he refuses and the awful customer service woman calls his cell phone saying she will call the police if I don't let him out the door... so I let him go... we still don't have our oven repaired... I will update this report as things play out. BUT DO NOT EVER USE ACTION APPLIANCE... THEY ARE MEAN ON THE PHONE... Their repairmen don't understand how to take the front of an oven off... THEY ARE AWFUL.

The repairman could not get my oven door to fit properly and became very angry and began banging the door very hard all over the sides of the oven and the kick plate on the bottom of the oven. Unfortunately, this caused the white paint on my oven to be scrapped off, all along the top portion of the kick plate of the bottom of the oven. I have a commercial grade gas oven that I paid $3,000 dollars for. The owner of the company initally came out to the house, was very nice and said he would replace the kick plate for me at no charge. He said he could not paint it, because there was too much paint scrapped off and this wouldn't look good. At least a month goes by and many unreturned phone calls are made to his office. He finally gets back to me to tell me my oven no longer is made in the white color and only comes in stainless steel. He tells me he will look into other options. Months go by at this time. My phone calls are never returned by him, his wife answers the phone at his office and I talk to her many, many times and she tells me everything will be taken care of and he will call me back, but he never does. I called the office at least every other week during this time and sometimes once per week. I suspected that it wouldn't but Tom, the owner of the company seemed like such a nice person. I trusted that it would, but really they were just hoping I would go away and forget about it the whole time. After about 4 months I am able to talk to him and ask if he can paint the entire piece like you would a car. He said that was a good idea and he would look into it. A couple more months of unreturned phone calls and his wife assuring me that everything would be taken care of. He calls me after about 6 months, and tell me that I have to find the person to do the painting myself and he will only cover 1/2 the expense of this. I became very upset after waiting for 6 months and him telling me this was his solution to my problem, after he told me he would take care of it. It was like he knew all along that he was never really going to replace this piece or find a way to paint it properly. I would have no idea who to contact to make the paint look like it did before the oven was bought. You can't use regular paint that you buy a home depot to do this. Tom and his wife are very dishonest people and never had any intention of doing what they could to repair damage that was done in my house from their employee. These are very poor business practices.

They got the job done and it was next day service so that is why I called. The price was about what I expected. The repair man broke the light bulb inside the freezer and said he couldn't replace it because he did not have light bulbs. Overall I thought the service was adequate.

They owner Tom used to be the only guy that would come out and now they send different maintenance men and they are not as high quality as Tom. They used to be great but they are starting to go downhill.

The repair person came on time, and was able to fix the freezer with parts he had on his truck. He ordered the part for the oven, and came back and fixed the oven when the part came in.
