I was very impressed with both the owner-operator and the work. First, he vacuumed the carpets to be cleaned. The blood stains were several years old and I had removed as much as possible, but there were dark spots left. They are completely gone now. I had forgotten that I had the same company clean our carpets in 2001, but found this by searching in my check book. Interesting coincidence. I certainly will call this same company the next time I need carpets and/or upholstery cleaned.

Quick scheduling of the work, which was very well done in slightly less time than estimated. I don't think the price was a bargain but the quality was worth what I paid.

This was my second time using Action Carpet Cleaning & Upholstry, and my expectations were met. Dean did a great job. He showed up when promised, helped with moving furniture, was very efficient with the cleaning work, being careful around the dining room table, buffet, and piano. The extraction process was also very efficient. He was comfortable with me being nearly underfoot as there was a lot to be accomplished in a very narrow time window. Dean arrived promptly and was very professional. He estimated 2 hours and that was right on. He was easy to contact and gave us the $25 discount for being an Angie's List member (discount is reflected in the cost shown above). He provided booties for us to wear until the carpet dried and even offered to leave a fan to help speed the drying. He did a great job and we would definitely use him again! <br />

<p>I chose this company because I saw nothing but excellent reviews about Dean (the company owner) in both Angie's List and Yelp. I'm just yet another happy and satisfied customer to add to Dean's excellent reviews. </p> <p>The job was done exactly as he said it would be done from the price to time frame, which all started with a complimentary walk-thru and quote. Dean was punctual and totally professional. You could tell he takes pride in the name and reputation of his business so he definitely puts in the hard work. </p> <p>We live in a rental and after Dean was done the floors were so clean and new-looking that we almost wish that this was our own house. I mean, the tiles literally were squeaky clean and he got some old stains off the old rental house carpet. </p> <p>We will definitely use this company again. Highly, highly recommended!</p> <br />

Dean was great. He arrived on time and spent more time here than other cleaners I have used. He amazed me with how he was able to get the carpet cleaned in an area where a dog I was fostering peed and pooped on my carpet. Overall the he did a fabulous job on the whole house. Carpets had not been cleaned in a year and they had been very dirty as I have a dog who loves to rub on them. <br /> He also did great work on the faux suede couch and chair I have. He got some stains out and got lots of dog hair out. <br /> <br /> <br />

Action Carpet Cleaning cleaned my 2 BR condo carpets prior to move out. They did a thorough job and I received my full security deposit refund. My unit was on the 2nd floor and they had no problems with access. Arrived on time and charged the quoted amount. <br />

The service tech, Dean, arrived promptly as scheduled for both appointments, the tile and the carpet. In both cases he took a look at the work to be done and quoted a very good estimate up front. We agreed, and he went to work. <br /> On the tile, he finished the job, checked it out, and decided that it wasn't yet clean enough - so he did it AGAIN without charging us an extra cent. <br /> On the carpet, he did an amazing job in a short amount of time. He removed foot / body lotion, pet urine, dried food and drink spills and who knows what else from a carpet made filthy and very smelly by a former tenant. I was sincerely blown away by the results. <br /> Action gets my highest recommendation - I'd give them an A+ if this site would let me. <br />

Initially it was hard to schedule the service. He gave me a date which was further out than I wanted. I called him back several days later to confirm and did not hear back from him until the night before he planned to come. Not good communications. I had already scheduled someone else but decided to let him do the job. Once on-site, he did a fine job cleaning the rugs. The carpets were damp when he left but he let us keep the industrial fan for several days so we could make sure the rugs were dry. he returned the area rug within 3 days. The work was excellent but the communications were problemmatic. <br /> <br /> Make sure you pin him down on a date and time, and ask for a call back if uncertain.

When I called I gave him specifics: He would not have to move any furniture, a rug and a carpet upstairs and a rug downstairs; no major spots-just high traffic and normal dirt; exactly where I lived and specifics how to get there. He did not require the room or rug size. On the phone he estimated $89, but I told him I was OK with him checking out the rugs/carpets before settling on a price. He was able to come the same day and was right on time. He looked at the rugs/carpet and verified that $89 would be the charge. He worked quickly and quietly. As he finished I pointed out an area of about 4ft by 3ft that still needed more cleaning (the light had been off). He checked it out and courteously recleaned the area. The entire job was done to my satisfaction, and the rugs dried very quickly. I was happy with the service and will use him again.

I have had a lot of guests and events in our home and no one has given our carpet the attention that Action Carpet & Upholstery has given. Dean is a very meticulous person and takes pride in the quality of his work. When we had our carpet replaced about 11 years ago, the carpet layer was surprised how clean it was underneath the carpet pad!! I won't use anyone else but Dean for our carpets.
