It took a lot of time to complete, and he didn't have the direct knowledge of the permitting for the town I lived in.

The tech was on time, professional, and kept the lines of communication open.  He explained thoroughly what the problem was and was knowledgeable in his trade.  The service was acceptable and I would recommend him.

It was pretty good. It took a little while to get scheduled but when they came he did good work. It's just that he used up all the discounted time on one little thing. It just came like it got very complicated but he did good work with that, so I had him do the other piece. He was good but I thought he was slow. I just feel like the first part that he worked on took so long that the portion that I purchased on Angie's List didn't go very far. It just seemed like a lot of issues, so I had to have my whole wall re-patched and re-painted. He is very detail oriented, very methodical but to the tune of hunt and pack. Some people come and they know exactly what to do and how to get to it, this guy kind of had to hunt through it. I've never had a problem with any of the stuff he has done but I was like, oh my God when I looked at my wall.

I've used Mr. Adams' services before with good results, and this time was no exception.  As usual, he arrived on time, was very thorough and efficient, and was flexible with respect to scheduling which I appreciated.

I would hire him again. He was on time and I liked the way he did his work.

<p>I have lived in Oak Lawn for 25 years and on many occasions have lost electrical power due to heavy storms.  On several occasions this had required that I be home and able to continuously run a manual backup generator.  </p> <p>Last week I finally had a backup house generator installed by Adams Electrical Services.  The owner Dorian Adams could not have been more professional and accommodating.  He worked around my schedule, and with one assistant was able to complete the job in one day.  </p> <p>Compared to other prices that I had received, I was pleasantly surprised to learn how affordable Adams Electrical was.    </p> <p>Upon completing the job Dorian made sure that I understood how the system worked, and made sure that I understood that I could call him down the road if I have any questions.  </p> <p>I had spent many years worrying about my basement due to my sump pump not working as the result of  power outages.  I wish I would have contacted Adams Electrical Services years ago, and I highly recommend them to anyone who still has flooding concerns, due to the loss of power during heavy Chicago area  rains.  </p> <br />

I think he did excellent work. He was very responsive when I called him and he showed up when he said he would.

They did a good job and I would recommend them to others.

06/29/12 Called and made appointment with Dorian for 07/03/12  meeting <br /> 07/03/12 10:00PM dorian did not show up or call. <br /> 10:02PM <br /> Emailed Dorian to Re-schedule <br /> Dorian explained recent storms left customers with out power and he wanted to serve them first. I understand that decision and do not fault him for that. <br /> When the job was done I am happy with the results <br />

Along with the work described in the Big Deal, he also installed an exterior light fixture over my porch. The work was fair but it still needs some additional work to correct a minor flaw that allowed snow to blow under the base of the globe. The base doesn't fit flush against the wall and there is a small opening. Apparently that is not something that they can repair, so I have to have someone else out to do that work. He was also late in arriving to my home.

<p>I needed 9 outlets grounded.  When they came I was informed that everything needed to be changed because of mixed wires and new laws.  The electrician called his boss and got a verbal estimate of $1500.00 and a full day to do the job.  I said ok but when he came out again he said there would be another person helping and it would be 2 days.  The bill came to $2100.00. They did a excellent job and cleaned up so you didn't even know anything was done.  I called about the bill because I thought it was too high over the estimate.  They lowered it to $1800.00.  I accepted that but next time I use them I will get it in writing.</p> <br /> <br /> <br />
