Well, if you want to lose a lot of your items this is the place to go. They not only damaged some of my items but they also "misplaced "my items such as an entire box of books, my grandmother's chair newly reupholstered. A bird bath. Kitchen items. An entire box of tools and a box of clothes and shoes. I grew up with there family, namely their dad's and thought this company would be good not so. All they told me about the items was sorry. Would not trust this generation of movers to move me anywhere.

Admiral did an excellent job in our move to a 55 and older Condo in Glastonbury in 2017. Shortly after the move, we discovered our dining room table would not extend. Admiral immediately dispatched a excellent repair man who quickly resolved this issue. This move included a Sleep Number bed. Over the last three years, we have noticed this bed beginning to slide on the support making it difficult for my wife to get in and out. Several calls to Sleep Number resulted in being told that it would likely cost in the area of $500 to be repaired. In desperation, my wife called Admiral to see if there was anything they could do. Even though it was three years after the move, Mark from Admiral sent their repair person to our Condo the very next day. This gentleman reviewed the situation and within 20 minutes had resolved the problem saving us considerable expense. Now that was absolutely above and beyond customer service - three years after the move. We could not be happier with Admiral's service and would highly recommend them to anyone.

We moved within the same town from an apartment and large household storage to new home. 4 men/2 trucks. Quick and efficient, no damage (inclusing piano). Highly recommended.

Fantastic! The owner came one day to quote the job, took 10-15min. Price was a few hundred less than a different company's quote. Moving day was smooth. The guys showed up on time and worked for 6hrs with a few 5min breaks. They worked well with us as my wife & I moved our little-medium sized items. I will say again the movers did great and even had to move our baby's large dresser up to the 2nd floor! Lots of grunts heard moving that piece, no cussing (I would have).

Movers were very pleasant, professional and hard working. No damages to home or personal property. Very considerate and polite.

The South Windsor Admiral group was amazing. They were a family unit, very professional, and couldn't have been any better to work with. They stepped in when we were in a bind, and really saved the day. I would recommend them wholeheartedly- just make sure you are getting the South Windsor group. Here's the back story. Unfortunately, the week before, Angie's List hooked us up with an Admiral Moving Van franchise supposedly from New Haven, and they were an absolute nightmare. Their estimator came out, gave a good quote, and we signed the contract. On moving day, a group of guys from Brooklyn showed up with 2 generic Avis box trucks (totally inadequate for moving an entire household), no uniforms, and came into the house and told us the move would be twice the price as the estimate and take 2 days. When we called the estimator back he wouldn't return the call. We spoke to their boss in NJ (phone call), and he actually cursed at my husband, threatened to pull his group out, and hung up on him. We worked out an agreement for the day. The movers left a large hole in our wall, taped our furniture which ruined the finish on some pieces, and when we paid with a bank check after the first truck was unloaded, they got angry that we wouldn't give them cash (can you say "avoiding paying their Connecticut taxes- they were based in NJ) and just dumped all the rest of our stuff in the garage and left. We will probably be reporting them to the state regulatory agencies. Again- make sure you get the South Windsor group- they were amazing. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

All of the staff were helpful, courteous, professional, and careful. Couldn't have asked for better movers.

They were excellent! They were right on time and very professional. David the owner. came to my home and gave me an estimate and the price was very fair, things were packed beautifully and no damaged at all. They were very nice and everything was done perfectly. I was very pleased with them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I read many articles about the pitfalls of engaging movers so we were very pleasantly surprised in our recent move from Connecticut to Maine using Admiral Moving & Storage of South Windsor, CT. Dave respond quickly to our request for an estimate, arrived exactly when we arranged, quickly walked through out CT residence answering our questions and inventorying the items they would move. He quickly emailed the quote which seemed in lIne with what we had expected for cost. Chuck and Ray arrived a couple of minutes before the target time in CT working quickly and efficiently wrapping our furniture and loading the truck. They handled our belongings with great care. As agreed, they arrived the following day, again, a couple of minutes earlier than projected, to unload in ME. We did a quick walk thru showing where the furniture would be placed on two floors and a basement. Chuck and Ray did the rest with very few questions - we just kept out of their way. The team was great and the price very reasonable. They were very efficient, everything was packed, loaded and unloaded very quickly with no damages. They were very responsive and even came back to pick up the boxes once we had unpacked. Would highly recommend!

Very professional. Everything was wrapped or otherwise protected. Nothing was damaged. They wrapped protection around our doorway so the house was not damaged. They cheerfully took care of our special requests. Couldn't be happier with the service. They charge per hour. They finnished early and the bill was $500 less than the quote.

Admiral provided the best moving service I have had in Connecticut. I wouldn't use anyone else. The team thy sent was fast, considerate, and kind. The service was exactly as described and very fairly priced.

The service I received was top-notch, from the in-house estimate to moving and storing my belongings.  The movers showed up exactly on time on both the moving out day and the moving in day.  My belongings were handled carefully and responsibly.  The cost was very reasonable. Everyone I dealt with made what can be a very stressful time both worry-free and stress-free. I give Admiral my highest recommendation.

Great move. David was prompt on giving me an on the money quote. Movers came on time on the assigned day. They were professional and caring for all our belongings. Upon delivery in NC, everything was in great shape. Would highly recommend.

The movers broke a valuable marble statue of the Taj Mahal, then carefully put the broken pieces on top of the statue and didn't tell us they broke it. We found out a few days later, and repeated emails to the owner have been ignored. Very unprofessional. I would warn against this business.

They were on time and did a nice job keeping on schedule. There were a number of very heavy items that we wanted on our third floor and they did a great job getting it up there. Overall crew worked hard. Some more than others. But we were satisfied with results.

It went better than I could have hoped. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process from start to finish. Moving is such a stressful process and everyone at Admiral was helpful in making my experience as stresses as possible.

Mark in the office was extremely receptive and accommodating. He provided us with an hourly rate which was competitive, and scheduled our move date and time. The movers were punctual and professional. Admiral provided us with a three man team for our move. They were careful and courteous. I would be happy to use them again.
