Our company policy is "We simple take care of the customer !! We take pride in everything we do from giving you great service, fair pricing, with the best warranties. Our goal with every customer is to give our best service we can. We try to please all our customers to 100% satisfaction. We have noticed that we have not been able to please all of our customers who have posted reports here on angieslist. That is a huge disappointment for us. Our goal was to be at 100% with all "A" grade ratings. We apologize to those who we we're not able to satisfy. But all we can do is continue on and strive to better ourselves and learn from our mistakes. We will continue to strive to be the best HVAC company in the Myrtle Beach area. We specialize in TRANE, WESTINGHOUSE, & GOODMAN. We do however service all makes and models. $65 service call and maintaince system evaluations for all our angieslist members. Our 7yr old HVAC system fizzled out over the weekend. I called Advanced Air at 8:30 am Monday morning and Ronnie fit us in the schedule. A lengthy diagnosis & multiple ways trying to save our unit proved fruitless. He patiently walked me through the problem and explained in detail/layman's terms what was wrong and the probable cause. Hard lesson learned as it turns out that we had not serviced our AC in ~18 months and we were so low on refrigerant that a line overheated and burned out the fan and the compressor. He even made sure to call me outside as he was draining the old unit to show me how low the refrigerant was. He called and got an excellent price on a new compatable system and installed it that afternoon working well into the evening to make sure it was installed and working correctly. Every interaction was polite and professional.  I have dealt with every level of contractor over the years and it is VERY rare to get this level of service, affordability and competence in a contractor. I have already scheduled my maintenance with Advanced Air and will gladly recommend him to friends and family.

What a Friday the 13th! The friendly, efficient, and thorough service provided by Ronnie of Advanced Air Systems turned around a bad start to the day.  He had quite a few good reviews on Angie's List and we were new to the service.  We called and he came by the same morning to check why our upstairs air conditioner was not working.  The entire NE of the US had been experiencing an unprecedented heat wave.  He looked at the interior and exterior components and replaced a 'capacitor'.  The bill was generated from his laptop and was neatly printed for my records.  Extremely satisfied and have already recommended him to a friend (as their a/c went out also!).

Went very well. Ronnie brought two to help him install the new unit. Was totally finished, everything cleaned up  and done under 2 1/2 hours.Did not charge for the first service call since I purchased the new unit. Also went under house and checked out the duct work to insure that I had no air leaks there.Would highly recommend this company to anyone needing work to their air conditioning . As Ronnie plans to start adding duct work cleaning to his services, I plan on using him for that when he gets his equipment. <br />

He was knowledgeable and prompt.  The 5% came to an additional $29.48 and the 10% discount offered would have amounted to another $54.60 for a total of $84.08 that I was overcharged.

Ronnie was very prompt coming to my home to access the problem. He discovered a coil leak and discussed with me my options: to have the coil replaced or have the whole inside unit replaced.   Ronnie discussed with me my options on a new unit and explained the advantages/disadvantages of each.   After I decided to have a new unit installed, Ronnie was here the very next day to install the unit.  He took the time to explain exactly how the unit operates.  Ronnie and his team were very professional, courteous and prompt. I will definitely use this company for all my AC/Heating needs.

I was very pleased with him.  He didn’t come when he was scheduled to come, but when I got a hold of him again he was having problems with his wife in the hospital and everything.  However, he did get back to me and rescheduled and everything.  He was very apologetic, so that was okay.  His pricing was fine.  He gave me a discount because he was on Angie’s List.  I will use him again in the future.

Ronnie ordered the new system and installed it within 5 days. It took them about 2 hrs. from start to finish. He checked our entire duct system to be sure everything was good and tight. He installed a new thermostat and when he cut that thing on, boy did the heat really roll. My wife and I can sit and watch TV at night without wrapping up in blankets. Can hardly wait for summer to see how well it is going to cool. Ronnie says we will be pleased. We decided on the Westinghouse system because of the 10 yr. complete system warranty and the fact that a lot of the exposed system is stainless steel rather than aluminum or copper. <br /> I highly recomend this company for your HVAC needs. They are friendly, professional, through, and will go above and beyond to please the customer. I was charged their original quote, even though they did more than the quote really called for. I believe they will do what ever they can to leave you pleased, with their work, before they leave. <br /> Mr. Nolan came back a couple days later, to see if everything was to our satisfaction and to give me the registered warranty on my new system. I was a little surprised because registering the warranty with the manufacturer is something you usually have to do yourself. <br /> <br /> I am hard to please and they met my expectations.  <br /> <br /> Oh yes I can't leave this out!  My next door neighbor bought a new system last year, not quite as big, from another company and different brand, and paid $1500 more. He turned green!

Spoke to the owner and made an appointment for 2 days later. He was late and called to say he had to reschedule because he had a grandson just born. That was ok. He rescheduled for the following Monday and was quite late again. He called to explain and my husband was annoyed and told him so. He sent one of his tehnician that afternoon. The technician was very competent and polite. The owner sent us a letter of apology which we accepted. <br /> I'd surely use them again. <br /> Judy Clarke

It was the worst experience I have ever had.  They started in March and it went on for two weeks and then they ended up walking out of the job.  I don't want to ruin their reputation, but this was done by their commercial division which I understand they have just started up.  The guy doesn't have whatever it is that they need to have.  I think they don't have the knowledge because they don't know what they are doing. The original owner Ronnie I think he is still the owner and he has an excellent rating for residential work but he had this guy who is heading the commercial division who doesn't know what he is doing and that's not going to be a big deal.  It was one of their first commercial jobs. I think he hired this guy to do this work for him but having said that he didn't have to walk off the job. I have never had one of my boxes go down to the floor in the 28 years I have been here.  It is the first time it has gone down and that too for two weeks. I had to remove all the products out of it and we have never had that experience in my whole career.  I found these guys on Angie's List and I called them up and they were guns and blazes. I wanted them to replace 18 units. I wanted them to go up there and go through everything I got and tell me what needs to be replaced or repaired and they didn't do that.  It was crazy. It was a horrible experience. They didn't replace some of the stuff that was supposed to be replaced in March. I got it done last week after everything went down completely. I got the equipment here which they were not able to put up. I tried to get him to talk to the guy from whom I bought it from and they just walked out of the job.  I called them twice to come and fix it.  I also called them to come and fix my air conditioner in my office and he didn't bother to return my calls. I don't want anybody else to go through the same thing. They just don't have the knowledge to do what they are supposed to do.  I was really upset with them. I did not want it to be something that would be between us forever and ever but when he did not want to return my calls it pretty much made it for me. That's all I can do.  I have a residential office air conditioning and I called him for that and he did not return my calls. So I won't be dealing with both sides of the business.

I have two condos in Myrtle Beach, each of them about 10 years old.  I contacted the owner, Ronnie, to have him come out and evaluate the conditions of the HVAC systems in both units.  We set a date and time and he showed up right as expected.  He was very thorough in his evaluation and explained what he was doing during each step of the process. He found a couple of parts (about $60 total) that need to be replaced on one system, but the other system checked out fine.  He took the time to explain WHY the parts needed replacing, rather than just telling me they were bad. When I asked him about replacing the one or both of the HVAC systems, he didn't  try any sort of 'hard-sell' on me.  In fact, he said the systems were in reasonably good shape for being 10 years old, and that I shouldn't have to have them replaced anytime soon. I appreciated Ronnie's honestly and thoroughness in checking out the systems and believe I have found a trustworthy HVAC professional to use in the future.

Called him at night said he would be here at 11 am..On time, saw what the problem was explained it to me, and in a mater of one hour he had put gas back into my heat pump and charged me less than half what the last guy charged for the same amount of gas and time.You won't be overcharged and you can trust and depend on Advance Air Systems. A friend told me to call Advanced Air Systems when my a/c unit stopped working. I called and the service tech was here in 20 minutes. He found the problem and replaced the broken contactor in no time. I also had him replace the thermostat. One of the best a/c companys I have ever used and will continue to use there services.

We called Ronnie on a Saturday afternoon when our unit was going out. He came out that night and looked at everything and gave us a written estimate, which was the final installed price we paid. We called him on Monday and requested he do the work - he came out on Wednesday with the new units (outside and in the attic) and proceeded to install them. By 4:00 the new system was on and starting to cool the house. There was nothing left to clean up or throw out - he took everything away. Excellent service! We would encourage you to do business with Ronnie.

The air conditioner stopped working on a weekday afternoon and we called Advanced Air for service. They were very responsive in coming to the house to see what the problem was and after trying to repair the unit, indicated that a replacement would be the best solution in the long run (the existing unit was almost 15 years old). An estimate was prepared and explained to us and we agreed to the replacement. The work was completed the next day in very hot conditions working in a tight attic. The job was completed that day as promised - they then came back two days later to recheck the refrigerant level and make sure that the unit was operating properly.

Excellent service from beginning to end. They provided same-day service, showed up on time, listened to what I had to say about the HVAC system, identified the blown-out capacitor that was causing the A/C to fail (he actually removed the part and came inside and showed it to me), gave me a very reasonable estimate for the replacement part and their labor, and then performed the work efficiently and well (it's been about 5 days now and the A/C continues to work w/o any problems). I had been told by others who had looked at my existing HVAC system that it was "shot" and that I needed a completely new HVAC system, running in the thousands of dollars. Instead, I paid a fraction of that. I'm very satisfied with their work and would use them again and recommend them to others without hesitation.
