it went amazing. Even though it was not a very large job, Ed came out three times to discuss project and my reservations. He was punctual, very informative and very congenial. I hired him and although we had some delays caused by wet weather, he finished the job earlier this month. His crew was outstanding in every way. Ed came by every day to make sure everything was going perfectly and it was. Everything was cleaned up meticulously and the crew even did a few extra things esthetically to make up for the slight delay caused by weather. The result was beyond my expectations and I have received so many compliments on it, from even my most critical family members. ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! Thank you Ed and company. I will highly recommend you and will have other projects for you when budget permits.

Terrific: Ed worked with me to structure the project in a way to fit my budget and time line. He listened to my vision for design and respectfully offered suggestions based on his professional experience to improve it. The end result exceeded my expectations. He will get more work from me again soon!

The crew was good.  The quality of the work is good.  I would recommend them for any concrete work whether old or new or repairs from them.   They did a great job coming up with a good plan to repair my concrete deck around my pool.  Don't hesitate to use them. <br />

I cannot possible say enough good things about Ed, Chris, and their team.  I dread dealing with contractors, we have probably held off on getting this work done for a while because I can't the thought of dealing with them!  I spoke to 3 other contractors for this job and it was evident Ed was the only one who truly cared.  He was not the cheapest, but was worth every penny. <br /> Ed has restored my faith in his profession.  He was courteous from the first contact. He arrived promptly to measure for the estimate.  He was open to whatever we wanted and provided additional wonderful ideas to build upon our vision.  Ed provided the 3 quotes for different options soon after his initial visit. <br /> Once we chose our plan, he went above and beyond to help us pick the right materials for the job.  Both him and Chris drove all around NJ looking for the perfect cultured stone for our steps to match with the pavers we had chosen.  It was evident they truly cared about creating a perfect job for us.  Communication was constant throughout the entire process, and my calls were answered immediately every time. <br />   <br /> They went above and beyond, even caring for issues I hadn't thought of originally, including making sure our drain was re-routed properly, and electrical wiring for our outside light was set correctly. <br /> The entire work crew was highly professional and courteous. They even made my 3 year old smile every day. I will definitely be using them in the future and highly recommend their work to anyone. <br />

Ed made recommendations on how to properly repair the concrete sunroom walls that were in very poor condition. The final result was was wonderful. He and his staff were professional and friendly. They completed the job in 2 days and worked late into the evening to finalize everything. <br />

Awesome! Couldn't be happier!  It is clear that the owner Ed is more concerned about the quality of the project, and the homeowner's happiness, not just today but in the long term, more so than making a fast buck.  Ed explained everything patiently and thoroughly, delivered what he promised and then some.  When some extra things needed to be done, they were taken care of without extra charges added on.  Everything went as planned.   <br /> Ed and our other primary contact on site, Chris, as people, are great guys, and were a pleasure to have at our home.  The work crew was super efficient and friendly.  At the end of each work day, everything was cleaned up and tidy.  All these guys take a lot of pride in their work and it shows. <br /> I would definitely work with Advanced Creations again and recommend them to anyone!

Ed was easy to work with.  Did everything he said he would do and everything looks great.  After a few days after the sealant was put on the stamped concrete we had a white film that showed up.  I called Ed and he didn't hesitate to come back and fix the problem.  I would use Ed and Advanced Creations again in the future.

Ed was very nice to deal with.  He knew his stuff and seemed to be very knowledgeable in dealing with kool deck.  We had damaged kool deck that was installed by another mason 8 years ago who did a really bad job.  Ed's crew painted over the kool deck, cleaned and sealed my stamped concrete.  Everything came out nice and the way he said it would.  Stamped concrete <br /> formed a white substance after a few days of application and Ed didn't hesitate to come back to fix it and made sure it was done to <br /> perfection.  <br />

The willingness to work with us (we needed Association and Township permits) and be patient with approvals was appreciated. He also recommended better materials and a design - at no additional cost beyond the quote - and wanted to make sure we were absolutely happy with the results. He came to our home several times to plan, inspect and complete the deal.  <br /> I would highly recommend Ed and Advanced Creations. You will not be disappointed and you are dealing with a professional who does the right thing by providing quality materials, excellent service, and absolutely no short cuts. Don't bother with anyone else.

Everything turned out well. Ed and company listened to our ideas and tried to bring them to reality. They used the paver brand that we requested so the work would match our pool surround, patio and walkway which we had installed a couple of years prior. We provided our ideas, Ed provided his suggestions from experience, and in the end we ended up with a very nice finished installation. There was constant communication throughout the process so we always felt we had a good idea of the process and progress and schedule. The pavers have held up to the weather and vehicle weight with no visible problems, so we are happy and satisfied with the work. The driveway and the walking path blend nicely to the front step to our front door. At night the solar lights add a nice accent.

Originally I was looking to do the brick treads on my front porch, Ed recommended I relaythe walk as it was partly sinking unevenly. <br />The ad don was reasonable, and later included replacement of the timbers as they had to be moved anyway to prepare the base. <br /> <br />They arrived later in the morning, actually 1 day before I planned on them, and needed to have my septic pumped before. They stayed till the job was done, <br />They finished at 9:30 pm <br />There were some mortar stains that we couldn't see at night + Ed agreed to come back + fix it. <br /> <br />It looks nice. <br />

Ed and crew did a great job on our steps and pavers - and we were not home to witness the project -- we had friends oversee their work -- very satisfied with the pavers workmanship of our entry to the house..... <br /> it was the foundation and garage masonry repair that remains questionable.The garage concrete and painting repair was good -- and we should never have had the hot air drying machine used to assist with the drying of the paint in the garage -- the odor permeated the home for weeks --- OR - do it when the temperatures will permit easy drying, no dampness, etc. perhaps should have put more plastic tarp around the walls of the garage to stop the odor access; the end result is that the garage floor was fixed, and painted; which is what we wanted, it is the process getting there that was difficult. <br /> Ed was professional in his recommendations. <br /> NOW the issue -- the masonry work done to the foundation started to crack. Ed was notified couple months ago - and said he would be coming by -- however, has not shown ---this is a concern --- I want him to stand by his work --- so I am waiting to hear from him -- I would contact Ed for an estimate if I needed future work done - yet, I would be reluctant based on the lack of follow-thru with the repair..... <br /> PS -- he did get other jobs in the neighborhood as a result of working here......M. Weiss

Some of the work was delayed due to weather and a backlog, but all in all, the work was done on a timely basis. The end result is a patio that is actually more than we hoped for due to Ed's advice. His workers kept the site clean and even planted grass seed in the areas immediately surrounding the wall. He has given us advice about the care of the pavers. We are happy with his work and recommend him highly. <br /> We have seen other patios installed at about the same time as ours, and ours, in our opinion, looks the best. We believe Ed's choices of materials and workmanship was superior to the other similar patios.

We solicited several price quotes from members on and off of Angie's List.  Each contractor came out, spoke to us an provided a quote within a few days. Two of the five contractors followed up diligently, Ed was extremely persistent. He is very personable, and customer focused, he wants to ensure his customer is satisfied. He provided a price quote, worked with us on pricing options, paver styles and timeline. We were very impressed with his willingness to work with us by providing alternative solutions and his flexibility in bringing over various pavers to chose from. <br /> We chose Cambridge Pavers. Ed informed us that there would be quite a few pallets delivered, but worked with his supplier to ensure the deliveries were in line to his workplan. In fact, he went to the suppliers location on several occasions to ensure alignment. <br /> Ed and his team worked tirelessly installing the walkway and steps in the front. They look beautiful, our neighbors and friends let us know!!  Once the front was complete, they started on the back. The backyard was sloped, but not a problem for Ed and his crew, they turned what was once unusable, into what our friends call a resort. We love it!!   <br /> We had another contractor install a well-point in the pool area. This may have posed a problem for other contractors since the well is round and the pavers are squares and rectangles, but not Ed -- he promised to come back with a custom made paver. We were skeptical since when you hear a contractor "will come back" after being paid, you figure, they won't. Ed did -- he came back with a piece to fit the well-point -- now that is truly a contractor that cares.  <br /> We recommend Ed and his crew to anyone looking for an honest contractor who meets his timelines (weather permitting) and is willing to work with his customers. Truly a professional crew --

Ed Chmura, the owner of Advanced Designs came to our house to look at the site and provide an estimate. Originally, we had been thinking of a poured concrete slab, but Ed pointed out why that would be needlessly expensive, and why concrete pavers were the better way to go for price, maintenance, and durability, as well as being far more attractive. He also explained in detail the work they proposed to do, how they would do it, and the materials they would use. <br />     Advanced Designs is a small company. They've been around for years, and they've survived by deliberately keeping it a small, "personal" business,  concentrating on customer service, and doing what they do best. <br />     There was a drop of several inches from the back door of the garage to ground-level, which was a problem because we needed the patio to be handicapped accessible. Ed and his crew foreman came up with a solution to this problem that did not require building up a huge berm of soil at the rear of the house or installing any steps. Rather, they installed the patio with a gentle slope up to the threshold of the garage door, the and result blended in nicely with the surrounding landscape. <br />     The work crew was highly professional, quiet, and well mannered. They completed the job in the space of an afternoon,  left the site clean after finishing their work, <br />       ............and the finished project looks <strong>great</strong>.

I Overall, the process was quick and they were very careful and neat which was difficult since they had to bring in and out through my house all the materials.

Ed Chmura came and gave a detailed estimate, was completely open to suggestions and willing to work with us to exclude ground hogs that had damaged existing patio. Other companies that came out were not.( Even offered to bring his dog to help scare away ground hogs!) Work was done on time with consideration given to the weather and optimal time for pouring concrete. Ed and his team did a fabulous job! Would definitely recommend and use them again for other projects!
