Hiring Frank and his crew couldn't have been a more satisfying experience. First of all, Frank is such a pleasant person to do business with, a genuinely nice guy, but they also did an awesome job trimming all of our 13+ mature trees. I knew the trees could look a lot better than they did, but I didn't really expect them to look like a work of art. I will admit, at first glance, I thought they had trimmed a bit more than I expected, but then I realized it was really just how much dead wood I had been looking at and the necessary cleanup was a startling difference on first sight. I only mention this so others might appreciate the difference with similar experience, instead of getting discouraged. I absolutely love how they look now and I find myself walking outside just to look at them more. We originally bought our house, in part, because of all the trees, and with the help of these guys, it just got even better. And it's not just my opinion. My next door neighbor came over the very next day to comment on what an amazing job they did and ask for Frank's contact information. I did not have need to interact directly with any of the crew, but watching from the window I saw how careful they were working all around our home. They also did a wonderful job cleaning up, leaving everything cleaner than it was when they started. And they left me plenty of wood for firewood just as I had requested. The only issue we had through the whole experience was initially making contact with Frank and getting the estimate done. But if there is any fault to be found it is only with the inconvenient world we all live in now and not because of poor handling. And I'm not mentioning this as a mark against Frank, but only so that others hopefully don't get frustrated with similar experience and instead have some patience. You will not be disappointed. I can't comment much about cost as I don't have anything to compare to. I had read so many positive comments about these guys that I started with them, and then I liked Frank so much and his price seemed reasonable enough that I didn't bother shopping around. With the number of trees we have, you can imagine that the total cost was not inexpensive, but Frank itemized each tree in the estimate and let us decide which ones we wanted done individually. Some of our trees are fairly big and needed a lot of work, but the highest priced one on our estimate was under $400. One last point I want to add is that generally I don't do reviews. Me writing this one is a real indication of how satisfied I am and how much I want Frank and his people to continue to succeed. If all contractors out there would provide the quality of service these guys do, there would be no need for review boards.

Frank provided quality work while helping me to understand my yard and how to care for my trees. I appreciate the clear and transparent quote/billing. The experienced crew was very professional and went above my expectations for the clean up of tree trucks and clearing of debris from my yard. I will be calling Advanced Tree Service again!

Thanks again Frank! We’ve been using Advance Tree Service for over 15 years, and they have always exceeded our expectations. Frank and his team seem to have an artistic quality when it comes to tree surgery. They just added many more years to my beautiful 35-year-old Red Oaks. All his hardworking employees were very professional, experienced and when finished, left the area cleaner than when they started having cleaned the existing leaves and branches as well. We had our neighbors stopping during the process and Frank was able to give them quotes on their trees without scheduling a future date. Frank and the team did a great job trimming all the limbs overhanging our house. They cleaned up so well after. The work that was done was exceptional and they actually did a little extra to make the finished product more visually appealing. These guys were on time, worked quickly, thoroughly and safely. I would highly recommend Advanced Tree Services for any job, large or small because their quality of work is outstanding.

Frank and his team from Advanced Tree Services are absolutely the best. They did an outstanding job trimming our four overgrown oak trees and we can’t be any happier with the results. The trees look so much better after being worked on by the team. The job was completed quickly and I’m super impressed with the clean up work the team did. It went very well! The crew went to work right away and worked six plus hours straight and completed the job including all cleanup as well as hauling off all debris, limbs, trunks, etc. The workers were polite and listened to my concerns and were very careful around my existing landscape and over the house and garage.

We reached out to a few companies for a quote on some tree trimmings for some large trees that were touching our 2nd story roof. Frank was fast about reaching out to us and setting a time to come by for the quote. Once Frank arrived, we found him to be very knowledgeable about trees, how to groom them correctly, and what we should do for the up keep. We were very impressed! Also, he showed up the day our trees were being trimmed by his crew to make sure everything went according to plan. They were fast, efficient and left my yard and drive way cleaner than it was before. We definitely plan to use them again in the future!

Good great job

This is the 4th tree service I've used, and this is the keeper. They showed up when promised, and did the work with such professionalism and skill I could hardly stop watching them. They removed and ground the stumps of about 6 trees, and the horizontal limbs on big oaks were removed so the trees have an upright shape now. They painstakingly removed small branches to achieve the perfect tree shape. They are tree artists. My trees are really beautiful now, and removing the low limbs really shows them off. And I have more sunlight for the grass now, have a view that isn't blocked, and the whole acre yard is in balance and not overcrowded. I asked Frank for advice on all the work that was done, and I could not be happier with the end result. He and his crew could not be nicer, everything was removed and cleaned up perfectly, and they left nothing behind except a yard that looks 100% better and a very happy customer. Highly recommend!

All the work and labor preformed was very fairly priced. I had multiple trees removed, which is what I thought I cared about the most but then the guys cleaned up the remaining trees and I had no idea my trees looked so rough until I saw them afterwards! They really brought out the beauty that I couldn't see. They really take pride in their work and it shows. I could not be happier with the service, the price, and how quickly the team works. Frank is personable and he keeps his word and is now our "Tree Guy". I do highly recommend this service.

Tree trimming and removal

I have used this company for tree trimming several times previously and have always been very satisfied. Frank, the owner, is very professional and competent as are his workers. This time they cut down two very large live oaks and ground down the stumps, filling the holes with the shavings. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the area including the yard, driveway and street. I highly recommend this company.

I had a Bald Cypress tree in my front yard that I wanted removed. Soon after I submitted the request on Angie's List, Frank called me to discuss the specifics and we scheduled an appointment. He came out and explained that it would be a simple job since the tree was in the middle of the yard, easily accessible, and his crew could knock it out in 2 hours or less. But due to several days of rain in our area, he was running behind by a week or so, therefore it might be while before he could fit me in. This wasn't a problem for me since I didn't need the job done ASAP. I was also pleased when he told me that I would not have to be present when the job was taking place. About 2 weeks later Frank calls to let me know they'll be coming out to remove my tree. I was out of the house for only 2 hours, but when I returned the tree was gone, the stump was ground down, the hole had been filled in, and all debris cleaned up. Frank's crew did exactly as he had promised, and I'm extremely pleased.

My third time to have Frank & his crew at my place. Everyone is Always so kind & courteous, work done exactly as Frank & I discussed. Awesome cleanup. Would highly recommend, Frank comes out right away for estimate & gets job done within a few weeks. Thank you again Frank

Anyone can grab a chainsaw and just start hacking away. But Advanced Tree Service took the time and made the effort to do it right without compromising the integrity of the tree and endanger its long term health. I did not have to ask for this quality. It was explained to me before they started what they could do. They did what I wanted and I am pleased with the results.

He come in at $50 less than he quoted and left the place cleaner than when he got there.

I have 4 full grown oak and elm trees in my front yard and 1 elm on the side near my garage entrance and the tree canopies were blocking the sun preventing grass from growing. Frank came out, reviewed my situation and offered a plan to resolve the issue. He was very informative and presented me with a quote for the recommended work which was very reasonable. He advised me when he would be able to schedule the job which was about 3 weeks out and I agreed. He and his crew showed up on the appointed day about 9:00 a.m. and spent most of the day at my home until the job was completed. Four of the trees had lower limbs removed to allow sunlight to reach the ground. The one tree that was closest to the house and blocking the afternoon sun on the largest portion of bare ground was removed, and the surface roots were ground down to about 2" below the surface. They cleaned up the yard and hauled off all the wood and limbs when they were done. Overall a great job, I am very pleased with the work Frank and his crew did, and I will use him again on future projects.

I rate Advanced Tree Services 'A+' for the first phase of service. Initial contact with Frank was timely, professional, and informative. Although he stated that his workload was heavy for the next weeks, he fit us into his schedule in order to clean up an tree/bush that our neighborhood association was on the verge of citing us for. That was greatly appreciated! We arranged for his crew to work on the front yard that month and planned to tackle the back yard the following month. I was quite impressed with Franks knowledge, expertise, and professionalism. Unfortunately, since then the follow-through has been lacking and I have not received timely responses to my inquiries. Most recently, I have not received any response to my inquiries and the trees/bushes in the back yard were not pruned/maintained as previously arranged. Quite disappointing. (Cost below represents total cost of front and back yards.)

Frank is so professional and knowledgeable. He came out and spent a lot of time discussing what we wanted to have done and making his recommendations. Then, despite a lot rain, he was able to schedule the work during a very busy spring season. Best of all, his bid was very competitive and beat out two others. Frank and crew arrived on time - Frank likes to be there at the beginning of every job to explain exactly what the customer wants done. The six man crew worked hard and with great teamwork got everything done quickly and it was exactly what we wanted. And the yard was completely clean when they left. Great job guys! Would we use this company again? We plan to have Advanced Tree Services back in the fall to trim our oak tree. We heartily recommend their services. Thank you Frank! All communications for the estimate and scheduling the service were professional and promptly returned. The team arrived at the scheduled time. The actual removal could not have gone better. The tree to be removed was on the property line surrounded by fencing and other trees. Further complicating the removal was the poor condition of the tree that limited access to higher parts of the tree. Frank and the team expertly removed the tree with no damage to the fencing or surrounding trees and kept all debris in my yard (making the neighbors happy). The yard was left neat and clean as requested. I would definitely hire again .
