The installation went fantastic! Joe the owner was there to help with the install along with his expert Tech Ken. Joe is very responsive, knowledgeable & helpful, just a really nice person to deal with. He even vacuumed behind our washer & dryer to remove dust & lint as they were running the hose into the drain.(he volunteered for this) Ken is a fantastic Tech, very knowledgeable about installs and works efficiently & quickly. We could not be happier with the install. The results of the quality of our water is terrific, no more dry skin, chipped nails and white spots on everything. We can even drink water from our faucets and no more gallon jugs of water to lug home from shopping. We give Advanced the Highest recommendation possible if you are looking for a new house water softening system, you could not be in better hands!

Joe was great to deal with, the guys came to install it took about 4 hours. The guys cleaned up after themselves and everything's working great so far. I set up automatic salt deliverys which is very convenient.

Offered options: purchase another like it or purchase one from Advanced. I told them to go ahead and put one in. They put the old one back together that day, came back in 2 days, removed old one, installed new one. Haven't priced water softeners in years so no idea if price was good but seemed reasonable. Quick, neat clean-up, great machine. Couldn't be happier.

Installation went smoothly. Installer accidentally pulled down 12 ceiling tiles and contractor is going to bring in a 3rd party to correct the "damage" at their cost. <br>The 2 different technicians were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. <br>An error was made at the time of the initial installation as some sand in the water supply was not recognizer nor identified and a "piston" in one of the regulators got subsequently chewed up. The contractor replaced it at his cost. <br>Everything took longer than normal, but it all worked out in the end. <br>

It was very easy. They installed a water softener very quickly. They deliver salt refills when we need them. I'd recommend them if you need a water softener. <br />

Everything went fine. I've used Advanced previously. I did do the maintenance myself a few times. But it involved an hour's drive round trip to Advanced to buy the UV bulb, which is a specialized part not found locally, and I probably wasn't as thorough at the cleaning as the tech. And considering the additional risk of my breaking the bulb getting it into a tight space, and its $110 price, it's worth my paying for the $95 service call. I just debated how to rate the price; as far as I know, $250 might be excellent, but for my wallet it still seems like a lot each year. Much of that may be mark-up for the bulb and for the filter, which was $30 and is available locally. <br /> My only criticisms, which are minor: <br /> I've been told in the past that I'd be put on a list for annual maintenance, and I've never been called. So I have to remember each year, and sometimes I remember months late. <br /> When I call, the person who answers always has to have someone call me back to schedule the appointment. That said, I got a call back at 9 the next morning, was offered a time range of 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. the same day, and the tech arrived at 10:20. <br />

It took 2 service appointments to get the tech over and work didn't fix the leak. The first appointment date came and went without any contact from the tech regarding needing to reschedule or anything. The bill came, but the leak never stopped. <br />

We are using well water, which is very hard, and the difference in the house was just so dramatic, we saw it in the clothes, we saw it in the dishwasher, and while taking a shower. If anybody needs a water softener, they will come out, check the water, give an evaluation of the water, and make recommendations. For me, they did come out, they looked at the space we had, they gave us the options we had, based on the space we had for the conditioner. They had different sizes, there were some bigger ones that wouldn’t need salt as often, but because of the location of the closet we needed to put it in, they worked with us and came up with this smaller unit which would fit in there, and still allow us to use the closet. They minimized the amount of time we would have to change the salt.

The salesman and installer were both prompt with their appointments. Installer was professional and explained to me how a water softener works. He answered all the questions I had and did not seem bothered. Installer did a good job putting unit in. <br /> <br /> The only problem is I asked the salesman if the brine tank has a grid on the bottom and he said it will, it does not
