Very Well! The guys were very professional and good at what they were doing. They covered every detail and completed the work in a timely fashion. I was very satisfied!

Took a few extra days because of scheduling issues, however they did a great job and left everything clean and tidy.

Matt was very professional as well as courteous when giving me an estimate on my insulation project. He also pointed out other ways to save as well as advising which changes would be the most cost efficient. The workers that actually did my project were very conscientious and went above what was required on the contract by installing some baffles that were missing at the air vents in front of the house. I couldn't be more pleased with the work and the result. Thank you Advantage!

Fantastic. Mauricio came out, lighted furnace ran diagnostics. He showed me all the electrical readings, had a CO emissions instrument checked a couple of rooms, all Ok! Left me a copy of the inspection form with all the data listed. Advantage is friendly, efficient and honest.

I would use them in the future. They are a good provider. It took them 30-45 minutes to get the work completed. The communication was great.

Advantage Home Performance were fantastic. It was a free estimate from an engineer 'Kevin' (AND he was not an inexperienced drone some other companies send who want to sell you a new air conditioner), and he knew his stuff, he wasn't selling anything, just making informed recommendations to best solve our problems. <br /> The estimate was fair and competitive and we only went for it from Kevin's expertise and the reassurance from Mike that if they didn't solve our problems, they would keep coming back to make sure it was resolved.   <br /> The day they arrived to do the work they all introduced themselves, and went through the house clarifying our problem and what they were there to do to fix it.  It was customer friendly explanations and they protected the house from dirt by covering most of it, even though they were just resealing, it was above and beyond.  Even going round with a vacuum later just to be sure. <br /> At the end of each day they showed us what they did and if we were satisfied. They even went the extra mile to fit and make sure the bathroom fan was working. <br /> Bottom line: This company is about serving the customer for what they want, not making a quick sale, they are in it for the long run. We will be using them again and recommend them to others. <br />

Response time and overall service was excellent. Called at 7:00 am and they were here by 8:00 am.  Cleaned and reset roll out switch. <br />

Each option presented in the proposal was priced out separately allowing us to pick and choose which items we wanted.  Loren, the manager, patiently explained each line item and allowed us to customize the work specifically to our needs.   We also added and changed a few items during the project which was not a problem at all.   The Advantage crew was very professional.  They arrived on time, were very considerate of our home, and went out of their way to ensure we were happy with every aspect of the job.   In addition to the actual work, their follow-up has been amazing.   When the initial installation was done earlier this year we were uncertain about the amount of airflow we wanted to our new garage room.  We were told to just call anytime we wanted it adjusted.  We called a week ago and within a few days, Loren was here to make the adjustments.   We just could not be happier with the overall experience.

He spent quite a long time in the attic made the proposal above. He was very friendly and professional. Based on the article above, Lance's professionalism, and Angie's reviews, the job was scheduled several weeks later to allow time for an electrician to do some work. <br /> Advantage called and emailed to remind us of our scheduled installation date and time. <br /> The work was performed in the morning of 1/5/2015. When the work was finished, I popped my head up the attic access and noted the fill was nice and level. <br /> Later in the afternoon I checked the length of the attic and noted the duct work was not covered with batts and was only covered with a very thin layer of blown insulation. I called Lance and he and the lead man on the job came two days later on the morning of 1/7/2015. <br /> Lance instructed the lead man how to make corrections, which he immediately did. I inspected the work and the job is very nicely done. The installer also showed me a video which showed the fiberglass batts in place before the loose fill was blown in on top. <br /> Sometimes a job will not go exactly right. The questions are: Will the company admit that something is wrong? and How long will it take them to fix it? Obviously, Advantage has answered these questions quite satisfactorily. <br />

I was very impressed with both the process and the service. They spent nearly all day, and my home is 1300 sq ft. They were very thorough, and I have noticed significant improvement in cooling time and am sure that will translate into lower utility bills. The guys who did the work were very respectful of my property and house, went right to work and knew exactly what they were doing. I have recommended them to others in my townhouse development. Unrelated to the vent work, my A/C was not cooling effectively, and I'd had some construction work done near the unit which may have been the source of the problem. On the Thursday before the 4th of July weekend, I called the company (They had shown up when I did my A/C repair contractor search on Angie's--I hadn't realized that they do H/VAC work also) and mentioned that I had recently had the duct work done and asked if I could get a technician to look at my A/C. They sent someone out later that day. It was a minor issue that was quickly fixed at no charge. I was blown away, needless-to-say. I can't say enough positive things about them!!

<p>Although their price was higher than another big name insulation company (starting with the letter B), I feel they did a much more thorough job at insulating both my addition and bring the rest of the home up to the same standard.  Even my highly rated air conditioning contractor had heard of them and recommended them.  Lance was very honest and did his best to give me his best quote and the installers did a great job.</p>

We had been having issues with the bedroom and office above the garage.  Discovered there was no insulation.  <br /> Advantage came, opened up the garage ceiling, put in insulation, closed it back up, repainted.  Area good as new, can't tell work was done.  Seeing big improvement in areas above garage <br />

The primary service Advantage Home Performance provided was installing spray foam to the underside of the roof deck.  They also threw in shade screens for the south side of my house as well as AC service for (2) rooftop units.  The screens look great and the AC service was thorough.  I will be calling them for any future AC needs. <br /> Now to the roof deck.  My wife and I bought our house 2 years ago.  The house was built in 1980, is approximately <br /> 3400 square feet and is block construction. There was extensive remodeling completed from previous owners which left many electrical gremlins.  During our first summer we were shocked to see $500-$600 utility bills, especially since we kept the thermostats at a reasonable 79-80 degrees.  We experienced similar bills the 2nd summer and we knew we <br /> had to do something.  We decided on spray foam, despite the initial investment, so we could air seal the attic space, take advantage of foams insulating properties and inspect/repair the electrical issues. <br /> They did not send a salesman, they sent an estimator named Lance.  He was very polite and professional.  If you have researched spray foam then you know proper application of the product is more important then the brand name of the product.  Lance was head and shoulders above the others.  He knew which areas would be easy and which areas would be difficult.  He made contingency plans for those areas which may be more difficult.  No other companies addressed these areas because they did not inspect the attic as well. <br /> Prior to the work Lance and Nick performed an energy audit.  It's worth the time and is cheap with rebates.  They obviously knew what they were doing. <br /> A crew showed up and over 2 days vacuumed all of the existing insulation from the attic.  They were extremely clean and efficient.  In fact, they left my house cleaner each day than it was when they arrived.  Which is not easy with blown in insulation. <br /> It took 4 days to complete the spray foam.  My wife and I were ok with the smell of the foam so we didn't leave the house.  The installers were as good as they get.  They were on time, very clean and very likable.  They took the time to answer any questions we had (my wife can ask ALOT of questions).  How they can crawl into such tight spaces is beyond me, but they did it and did it well.  I pulled out recessed light fixtures and could see they got all the way to the top plate.  The contract called for 6" of foam and they erred on the heavy side throughout the project.  <br /> All told I had 7 of their employees at my house at one time or another.  I spoke to each of them and they all had worked there for several years.  They all enjoyed working for the company and were well paid.  I liked that. <br /> Early results.  The blower door test improved from 5400 CFM (living in a barn) to 1625 CFM.  But most importantly, they may have saved my family and my home.  I know it sounds overly dramatic but it's true.  Those electrical gremlins I feared were real.  The installers found (2) live exposed wires draped across trusses and (3) wire splice which were not in junction boxes.  We would not have known about these until the house caught on fire.  <br /> If you're looking to spray foam your roof deck/attic then you want it done right.  These guys do it right.  No hidden costs/overages.  The quoted price is the price you pay.  Honest, hard working crew.  You definitely get what you pay for.

now instead of using a pellet stove and a woodstove to heat this room and having it immediately cooldown I used two electric Oil heaters set on 500 W each and it maintains almost 70° even with 20 and 30° temperature differential between inside and outside. That to me is extraordinary!

Nick did the energy audit and oversaw the rest of the work.  He was very professional and friendly and explained everything that was going to happen.  He is also filling out all of the SRP rebate forms, so I don't have to find them and try to get all of the information together. <br /> Gordon came with the crew that did all of the attic work.  They arrived at 6:00 AM, so they could get going before it became too hot in the attic.  They would have come later if I wanted, but I said 6 would be fine.  The first day they did repairs on the duct work and sealing of the ducts. The second day they added a return for one of the units and did the insulation work.  They were all professional, friendly and efficient.  They were very careful to keep things clean and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. <br /> Larry replaced all of the old shabby sun screens with new ones that are beautiful.  Again friendly and efficient. <br /> I recommend this company with no reservations.

Always on time and courteous. Did pre-analysis of our heating and cooling, very knowledgeable. Did all the work in a timely manner. Never felt like they were rushing to go to the next job. Took care of little extra things that came up. No additional charges. The result was amazing. We noticed cleaner air and reduced outside noise immediately. The whole house is much more comfortable and we don't keep adjusting the thermostat like we used to. Also our electric use has gone down significantly. The heat pump unit outside is much quieter than the old unit. This is one of the best investments we ever made. It will pay for itself quickly and we have a nice comfortable home for years to come. These folks were like scientists who were able to identify problem areas and provide solutions.

Energy audit well done.  Estimates for insulation way too pricey to be realistic. Also it took weeks to get the estimate back.

Process was smooth from the start.  I contacted them after visiting their website.  They sent out an estimator, Lance, who actually entered the attic and reviewed the house itself before making recommendations to improve the attic insulation.  Quote was received timely and I asked several follow-up questions regarding energy rebates from SRP.  They took the time to answer those questions, and we clear about questions they could not answer.   <br /> <br /> The quote specified it was good for 90 days.  I waited  nearly 60 days, getting quotes from another contractor and just mulling over the cost/benefits.  I finally contacted them and they were prompt with the service call, arriving the next day.  they arrived on time and completed the entire project in about 6 hours.  The personnel let me inspect the job and verify the removal of the old radiant barrier materials before leaving.   <br /> <br /> Overall, I was very pleased with the work.  The price was steeper than some other companies, but since they were the only ones who came on site to before making the quote, and their observations matched my own with regards to properly insulating the attic, I felt the high cost was probably a better estimate of the true costs.
