I am very happy with Advantage. This is the second time I've used them, and they are my plumbers of choice. The scheduler and tech are pleasant and accommodating. The tech arrived on time and finished the projects quicker than I expected. I thought the price was very reasonable for the work done.

The plumber not only got the sink draining again, but found the cause of the problem in a seldom used sink downstairs. He cleared out both areas and made sure everything was running smoothly. He also gave me some advice on other plumbing projects I have in mind for the future. He was very thorough and professional and really knew his business. I have used Advantage before and will call them again.

Service went exceptionally well. The plumbing company I used for many years went out of business, so I called Advantage after reviewing their ratings on Angie's List. Advantage was very nice and helpful from my phone call through the service call. I could not be more pleased with the work and the technician. Initial call was for leak under master bath sink. When we went to the basement to turn off the water we discovered a split pipe above my hot water heater. The technician was able to fix that issue in short order along with the master bath leak. I am so pleased he was able to do that repair in the same visit rather than having to set another appointment. I will use Advantage from now on.

They were very responsive, arrived roughly an hour after I called, and were able to replace the valve quickly. Unfortunately, they then tried hiding extra fees in the cost of the valve. They initially didn't provide an itemized receipt - when I asked for one they reported fees of $150 in overtime labor, and $325 for the valve. Their supply company priced the valve at $96 before tax. When I asked about it I was told the extra was to cover travel expenses, but the man who came to my house specifically told me he was waiving the travel fee of $65. I could have paid the travel fee, and twice their cost for the valve and still come out $60 ahead. I WAS GOUGED.

Alec was extremely professional for such a young man. Very knowledgable about the problem and walked us through every step of what he was doing. The company initially thought it was going to be an after hours call because how late on a Friday it was, but Alec was able to get to our house early. The problem was solved quickly, professionally and left the work area clean. I would highly recommend using this company. The cost might seem high but because it did require some after hours time and removal of the toilet, I felt the cost was appropriate for the work done.

The crew were running late that morning due to an emergency at another customers location, so they called to let us know of the delay. A second call later in the morning confirmed they were done and were on their way. After talking with us about our concerns, it was recommended that a video inspection be done first and if necessary, perform a cleaning. They showed us the live video of the inspection and verified that no cleaning was needed. Both Josh and Alec were professional, friendly, and very pleasant to deal with. Fast service, excellent communication, fair and honest contractors. Highly recommended!

David McIntyre with Advantage showed up to assess a low water-leaking kind of noise in the toilet of my deceased mothers master bathroom. I had initially checked to possibly replace the flapper, but then immediately called a professional when I saw all of the ancient American Standard Vent-away technology inside the tank. After checking things over, David recommended replacement with modern water-saving toilet, giving me a number of good reasons, including a $75 incentive by the Woodmore association when converting to new 1.2 gpf toilets. I purchased the Kohler one-piece toilet and David picked it up at Home Depot, brought it to the house, brought it in and installed it in a little over 1 hours. While David was working, he noticed a small dripping with the toilet supply valve and replaced it with the supply line (all at no extra charge). He discussed the slow leak and the damp carpet in the bathroom. I told him that all of the outdated carpet was being replaced upstairs and that different flooring would be going into the bathrooms and the kitchen area. He said "OK" and then advised me about getting a fan to deal with the moisture in the carpet until it was removed and replaced. He then gave me some tips related to the use of the new 1.2 gpf toilet. Overall the experience was excellent. I was informed before, during and after the whole project. The work proceeded quickly with no hitches and David cleaned up afterwards and disposed of the old toilet. And the price was great. I have been using it for a month now and it has worked like it should. I am very happy. <br />
