When I got home I was completely horrified to find my fence streaked and various shades of black and brown. It looked like it had been in a raging field fire. The many loose boards that were supposed to be re-nailed remained loose and sticking out up and down the entire fence. I have split boards and chipped wood from nails driven too close to the edges. This is a complete nightmare. The stain was haphazardly applied and the edges are free of any stain. When he sold the job he said he merely bleaches and rinses to preserve the wood which would be damaged if power washed. When I arrived home huge sections of the fence have boards nearly completely destroyed by high pressure power washing which he claims he does not do. Every aspect of the job is a total sham. There is no consistency, no quality, and my $20,000.00 fence is a near total loss. My only option is to replace a large number of the damaged boards and paint the fence as whatever he has done has left it dark and nearly black, making it unable to receive stain again. I am seeking all legal options as he has taken no responsibility for his work and basically taken my money. Owners beware! Do not let this man touch any of your fences or you will be very disappointed and taken.

"I got many of text messages telling this guy his fence was highly nelgeletced he went over 10 years with out touching this fence what so ever when he first got the fence he was told to clean and stain every 3 to 5 years he did not ...so when I tried to clean it after 10 years of tree sap and sun damage it just wouldnt not clean up I told him he would need to either replace or go with a darker color he didn't want to hear that said to use the lightest stain color they make I advised him it will not cover he said basicly Oh Well do it ...which I did ...I have all the photos and text messages as for the nails being to close to edge that'[Member Information Removed] on the builders which was not me I did not build his fence"

This was a worry-free, done-right experience. Extensive work done on lake home, including railings for dock walkway, moving an iron gate and replacing with an automatic-opening one, a gate for the deck fencing, railing for the house walkway. Upon completion, there was nothing that needed correction. He also installed a Sunsetter retractable awning for us which was a good savings since we purchased it from Costco. It looks and works great! Frank is punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable. He is easy to work with, and very nice. We would not hesitate to hire his services again

The work and service was A+++. I cannot say enough good things about them. I initially contacted four fence companies on Angie's List that made all sorts of claims about the variety and quality of the work they do. Two of the companies never responded. One called me but after I explained the project said they don't do that (really? Fence company won't install a fence???). Frank from Fence Rescuer called, immediately understood what needed to be done, and came out to my house within a couple of days. Communication was great. He brought with him high tech equipment to cut the fence to size. I never asked but he knew to bring cement. He spent several hours and made sure the final product was perfect. I could not be more pleased. I will use these guys for all fence projects going forward.

The job went well. Frank Lester (the owner of A Fence Rescuer) analized the problem with the latch and fixed it. This job was part of a Maintenance Package ($99) I had previously purchased.

Bought an Angie's List package for the work. I could have made the repairs for less money but given my schedule, this was worth the money. The vendor responded quickly and was easy to work with. We took care of everything via text and we're good to go.

Wonderful!!! Much to our surprise, the company which previously provided the installation was unavailable last year to install our holiday lighting - yikes!!!!! Frank Lester @ A Fence Rescuer - literally came to our rescue - and was successful in obtaining the lights from the previous installer and did a beautiful job of installing the lights - and he even added additional lights to really give the project the perfect look ... his team installed the lights exactly when we needed them ... right on schedule ... no surprises ... and for very attractive pricing. Our Christmas lighting set the stage for a joyous 2015 Holiday season. Now to 2016, Frank's group installed this year's Christmas lights & wreath this morning and again the house looks beautiful for the holidays. We couldn't be happier with Frank and would sure recommend A Fence Rescuer for your consideration for your Holiday lighting.

We just had two side fences replaced in the backyard. Frank did a very good job -- the fences look good and the price was fair. Frank also kept us posted on how things were going and was very responsive to our questions. I'm very pleased with his work and would definitely hire him again.

Very well. Frank called back quickly and scheduled an appointment to come to the house to give an estimate. Frank arrived on time, and the estimate was right on our budget. The work was completed the very next morning -- he even arrived 30 minutes early! The repair was professionally done, and he and his partner cleaned up the area when they finished. I highly recommend Frank, and we will certainly use him again if a problem occurs with our fencing.

"If you were not 100% happy why didn't you say sonething back in July I did two gate repairs for $99 which is a steal but I would of come back as many time as need to make you 100% happy had you ask but you waited 8 months to leave a review it's not a bad one but I can't help but feel you were not 100 % happy for this I am sorry"
