Affordable Appliance Repair

Not good. Called Affordable Appliance Repair and told the service man that the screen on the refrigerator indicated the defrost heater was not working. The service man I had look at it before Affordable told me it needed a heater and he never returned. I gave the model number to Affordable and he was scheduled service for a week later. Service man showed up today with NO PART and checked out the refrigerator and told me it need a defrost heater. It might take a week to 10 days to get the part and schedule an install. Charged me $65 to tell me what I had already told him. What a rip off. I told him to forget it and I would find someone else not on ANGIES LIST. I have been trying to get a simple repair for over a month. We have a news letter in this community that is read by about 10,000 people on line and you can bet they will hear about this. If Affordable needed the $65 that bad I would have paid it up front for good service. A sad way to do business, no thanks to Angis List

Dwayne came out to our house and converted our Dryer from propane to natural gas, But when he left the Dryer quit working We called him and told him about it and he was supposed to come back and look at it but never showed up and never called us, We tried calling him on the day we had set up the appointment but he didn't answer our call. I'm not one to hurt anybodies reputation but I'm not sure why he treated us this way. We were good customers and we pay our bills all we expected was a follow up to check his work, We had to call another company and spent another $160

He came out and showed me how to get it working again.He didn't charge me anything. He said to call him again when I really break it. That's very unusual. He made a trip all the way out here and spent 20 or 30 minutes getting it started and showing me how to keep it from jamming again. He didn't charge anything. I thought that was excellent. I would call him when I need something else.

He is very thorough and reliable.

It was the same day, same service, person.  He is the most prompt person I've ever called.  I am happy with him. We tried him, like him, and he's always called back.  I give him high ratings and will continue to use him in the future.
