When TED first proposed the Job he went thru a verbal description explaining the work that needed to be done and I was impressed with his knowledge and insights. We did not haggle on price in that I had other estimates and wanted to give Ted the incentive to do the job right and in a timely manner. He met all those goals. While his scheduling could use a little help, he did our job in a reasonable timeframe. As a validation on the quality my neighbor saw what was done and immediately hired Ted to do their home which was the same color, etc. He is working on their house now.

Ted was responsive, same day, on the bid. He provided some value added suggestions on other improvements we could make to make. He then completed all the work a couple days later, much better than I expected. And...he cleans up - no messes left. Thank you!

The patches worked out well, but I signed up for a special angie’s List offer and I don’t believe my bill reflected the offer pricing.

"I’m not making excuses. Obviously this customer was not happy with price. I think some people fail to realize the process what it takes to do a job? There is driving to The clients town the first time to bid the job / Measure all the measurements and take notes, there’s $15 in gas, and an hour of time. Another hour time going over notes at office evaluating the job notes and calling and getting a price to the owner another hour. We have another hour and a half going to purchase materials and have Stucco Marched. There’s another hour hour and a half? No we have two men working on the job doing stucco repairs. There’s set up repairs then clean up that’s probably three hours for two men $85 an hour average. After the job done talking on the phone with customer and we’re going to job to pick up check so the easy $600 worth of work there I have at least three hours of my time the owner invested in this job inspecting when I expect all the way to create visualizing the job From start to finish to make sure this job comes out perfect well as perfect as can be. That being said if you look at the review you gave me an A for the patches that’s what most important quality work, because we have A motive to do a quality efficient organize job done right the first time. That is why you will see us at the top of the ratings every day of every week of every month of every year for the past four years I want to super service award for the last three years and then at the top of the ratings the last four years out of 35 stucco contractors. That being said this customer was a great customer and I had no idea there was a problem with the price. Anyways i almost feel like my feelings were hurt. ?? Lol. Do you show you the Angie’s List Is real. Just like getting pickles on your hamburger when you asked for no pickles through a drive-through hamburger stand, LOL. Human nature is funny. Lol. I contacted the provider and didn't hear anything back for almost 2 weeks. The provider called and said he would be by the next day and then didn't show up. The following day he came by and gave the bid. Once I got the bid, they didn't show up on the day they said they would do the work and came the following Monday. The actual installers did a great job with the work.

"Well thank you for the honest report. That being said there is the customer story, there is my story, and then there is the truth! Truth is customer said he contacted me two weeks before I responded?? He may have left a message for me at two weeks ago but I did not contact him for two weeks later because I had over 150 calls a week this whole summer literally I did my best to contact everybody and call everybody back. And I took two weeks get back to him I apologized. And he said he understood? As far as starting the next day when he when we agreed. The weather did not permit us to start for two or three days later I cannot warrantee and or come back to replace stucco if I put on in bad weather. The most important review was quality of work. He gave me A. Thank you Customer for the truth. Thank you. It’s like going to your favorite hamburger place ordering and getting pickles on your hamburger when you didn’t want any and you get all way home and find out. LOL"

My overall experience was positive. We had stucco damage in a few areas where knock out flashing was failing and/or missing. Ted gave a detailed bid that included different possible scenarios depending on what they found once they cut into the damaged areas. He knocked the job out quickly and didn't try to sell me on additional work that wasn't needed. The repairs look good and I am happy with the work.

I saw the reviews here and contacted Ted Cowan, the owner of this company. He came by soon after to look over the job and give me a bid. He was professional and knowledgeable and his crew (led by James) did a wonderful job! They were able to perfectly match the color of my stucco and completed the job in a timely manner. They were also very good about cleaning up when they were finished. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend this company to others needing stucco repair.

I required extensive stucco repair and decided instead to replace it all. I had Ted go over this with me and I have been extremely pleased with the whole process. He was here when he said he would be and the work was done he said it would be. His crew did a beautiful job and my house looks new. I can't say enough good things about them. I can highly recommend them.

Ted was absolutely fantastic to work with! This was a big project and he managed it beautifully. We live in Virginia, the home is in Park City - Ted was very proactive with communication sending texts of pictures throughout the project. He was very helpful in working with me in choosing an new color, even facetiming me from the stucco store. I haven't seen the results in person yet, but from all the pictures he's sent the job looks amazing! In addition to the repairs that we needed, I had an estimate on some other repairs that were suggested by another company (several years back), Ted drilled some test spots to confirm that the work was not necessary. I would absolutely hire Ted again for any future stucco work!

I had some broken, cracking stucco that I needed checked for underlying damage and patched in a relatively short period of time pursuant to refinancing my home. I had contacted two other stucco contractors off of Angie's list to get bids and neither one was very responsive. Ted Cowan from ACES/GSS was very responsive. He came out the day we got a hold of him and gave me a bid on the spot. He also walked me carefully through what potential issues there might be and how he would go about fixing them so there would be no further damage. <br> <br>He said he could be back within three to four days but came back the very next day to test for underlying problems, of which there weren't any, and to take out the broken stucco and put on the cement layer. He came back a week later and finished the job. It looks perfect. The color matches exactly. I finally did get a bid from one of the other contractors and Ted's bid was half the cost. I watched the repair and Ted's men did a great job. The went to extra lengths to make sure that the patch carefully overlapped with the existing water barrier so I wouldn't have to repair this again any time soon. <br> <br>I am so pleased that I am asking Ted for a bid to do stucco when I have most of the windows in my house replaced. Based on my experience so far I'd recommend him to anyone.

I chose this contractor based on Angies List recommendations, even though the bid was a little higher than one other. Contractor did an outstanding job from start to finish. Job was done in 3-4 days, with a long weekend in between. The end product is better than the original, improves the street view 100%. Workers were very professional and hard working. They even patched a couple of places that were not specified in the contract, at no additional charge. Would recommend to anyone who needs stucco work, either new or repair. <br />

Ted was extremely responsive and did a phenomenal job repairing our leaky windows. After having our windows repaired by another contractor and that contractor not digging into what the overall cause of our leak was the windows started leaking again. Ted came out and was able to access exactly what caused the leak and how to fix the problem so we no longer would have to worry about the windows leaking. I would absolutely recommend Ted for anyone who is having leaking windows that has been caused by flashing that was installed incorrectly or any other stucco repairs. He is great!! <br />

They did a remarkable job! This was far from an easy task. Since the home is already a few years old and the sun as bleached the color of the paint, matching the color and then blending the sides in with the eves and rockwork was a challenge. The house looks as though it was built this way. The price was fair and reasonable for the challenge they had and I am soooo very pleased. Thank you Ted! <br />
