All in all I feel my money went in drain by working with Affordble decorative concrete. The project is the uglist I have seen in my life and not at all per what we were shown initially through website and pictures. I would not use this company again nor will I recommend to anyone. Here is how it happened. Dan (the owner) came out promplty to discuss the project and we quickly were able to fix the design and price. The project got delayed alot partly due to how weather and schedule affected concrete pour. But the project fell apart after the concrete pour. The area was not leveled and graded appropriately and the entire concrete area was highly uneven that made the rain water puddles on the concrete. There was no setup for flow of water drain which made the water flow into the covered patio instead of moving away from it. Water started collecting inside the covered patio. After numerous emails and phone calls, the crew finaly came to fix the issue only to discover another issue. They never opened my patio door to see if the concrete pour is leveled accordingly to open the patio door. The door did not open at all once the concrete was poured. This made the project a mess. The crew fixed both the water drainage and patio door issue with mediocre patch work, which made the entire patio ugly. Then came the tile cut and staining of both outside and inside concrete. The outside surface of the concrete was cut in tile shape and coated with multiple layers of colors. While coloring, Dan forgot the original design we selected and stained the entire outer surface with dark colored stain instead of the light and dark combination design we selected. I sent the sent the selected design picture again and he came out the next day to apply a lighter color stain on top of the dark stain!! It made the whole outside patio ugly as h***!! On the inside patio concrete the tile cut was not professional grade with lot of places the left out of cutting. After spending $2000 and ton of frustration dealing with Affordable decorative concrete, we are left with an ugly patio.

It was a WONDERFUL experience. Patrick came out and thoroughly explained all of my options, surveyed my property, asked a lot of questions to try and understand what was important to me, and came up with 4 proposals (least to most expensive). Once a decision was made we discussed color and he was careful to point out what would and would not complement my home. As promised, his crew then arrived approx 2 weeks later. I was not at home to witness all that was going home. However, when I arrived home at night, you could barely tell workers had been there. No mess! The job was completed in 4 days (one day they were unable to work because of rain). The results were amazing!! The driveway and walkway are beautiful!!!

Dan Hogan is a genuine artist. We hired him to do acid staining on concrete in a basement room and garage floor for our client. The client picked out some pictures of what they wanted and Dan delivered. With the garage, he made it look like 3' x 3' tiles. It is unbelievable how good it turned out. Instead of doing acid stain, he did an overlay, and then did additional touches to each tile area as he darkened them up with the protective coating. His pricing was great also. Most competitive pricing we found and we interviewed about 6 companies. I highly recommend Dan and his company Affordable Decorative Concrete.

The whole experience went really well. Dan came out promptly. He sent us a quote and picture examples via email that same evening. We had another local company look at the decorative concrete in the outdoor area. They were going to charge us THREE times what Dan charged us. And, they did not seem to offer anything additional for this price. Since his price was so reasonable for the outdoor area. We had him look at the driveway, as well. The decorative concrete on the driveway needed repair, but we did not think we had the budget for it. Dan came to work the day he said he would. The process took a few days per project (due to curing, drying, etc.). We had setbacks that we caused, including our subdivisions water being cut off for testing the day he was pressure washing. He simply adjusted his schedule without complaint. He even changed the outdoor area color after-the-fact, per our request. And, he was very easy to work with the entire time. He texted, emailed, and left voicemails. So, we were never "in the dark" about where the projects stood. For the price, we received more than whan we expected.

Dan stopped by the same day we called for the initial estimate to survey the potential project. Dan described the process he typically undertakes for stamped concrete. He responded several days later with a written estimate. While I believe this job was smaller than Dan's typical project, he was very responsive to my several inquiries and follow-up questions. Dan worked several weekends to complete the project and we are very pleased with the overall results.

We were having mildew problems on the lower level which is a concrete slab. The floor was carpeted. We wanted to get get rid of carpet and put tile down until we saw how expensive it would be to tile it. We decided to do acid stain. Dan the owner came out and spent a good amount of time with us talking about options. we looked at pictures of other work he had done and we loved it . The price was affordable. He did a beautiful job. It is very unique and I highly recommend his company. They worked professional and clean. It was a pleasant all around experience. We would love to do our back patio also.
