They live up to their name - their quote was the most affordable. When the contract was signed in April we were told the work would be done in August. As promised, it was done in August; however, after several phone calls we have yet to receive the manual cranks to lower and raise the screens if the power is out.

These guys came recommended by a neighbor. Really knowledgable and helpful customer service. They were also my best price quote so it made the most sense to go with them. Very happy I did because the shutters make my home value look great and I was so eager to get it done before hurricane season was over!

AGP Are #1 In My Book, They Put Storm Panels On My House Back In June Of 1997. I Decided To Upgrade To Accordion Shutters This Year. Van The Owner Of AGP Did The Estimate. Barbara The Office Manager Did The Paper Work & Scheduling. Randy & Jack Did The Installing Of The Accordion Shutters. The Whole Group Are The Best Contractors That I Have Ever Worked With. There Estimate Was Better Than 3 Other Estimates That I Had Received. They Had Put On The Storm Panels On My House Back In 1997, So I Already Knew The Kind Of Work They Preformed. I'm So Glad I Chose AGP To Do The Storm Protection For My House.

AGP was a great company to work with--from site survey and proposal, to the manufacture,and installation of the finished product. The sales engineer was knowledgeable and very helpful in determining the optimum configuration for the screen to protect the interior glass windows and 2 custom sliding glass doors in a very cost effective solution. The actual installation went smoothly, with a group of workers who were very pleasant and professional, and they ensured that we were fully instructed on the operation and maintenance of the screen. I highly recommend them for any hurricane protection projects.

Exceptional job. Every step of the process went well. Their visit to assess the task and provide an estimate of the cost was performed promptly after my call. The shutters were quickly built and ready to install. They were ready to install so quickly, I asked them for a short delay as I wanted to complete having the houise painted - not a problem, they just let me know they were ready to install whenever i called. When called, the installation team came out within days and installed the shutters. I was particularly impressed with their builders as they engineered an excellent solution to protecting my arched windows while still maintaining the appearance that the arches provide. Despite having a large number of windows, their 6 man crew made short work of the task. I am extremely happy with the end result. I would highly recommend Affordable Glass Protection, Inc for your hurricane protection needs. The company was a pleasure to work with. <br />

The work itself was good, would not rate it excellent. I went with this company as they had been voted Best in Brevard. Must have a popularity contest because Van's customer service is lacing. The customer service is not the best (except Barbra in the office does try). <br /> I have to say for the amount of money I spent on the shutters you would think Van would come by and check on his guys work. The shutters were filthy when installed as though they had sat outside for weeks. A layer of black soot covered the shutters. There are places where the paint was scraped or missed when applied. I called about getting some touch up paint and it took weeks to finally have it dropped off on my doorstep. <br /> I was quoted 5-6 weeks, my paperwork said 6-8 weeks. It took 14 weeks from the time I paid my deposit. I had to keep calling and calling to get status. No one would ever get a hold of me. In fact Van missed the first appointment when he was supposed to come out and do the inspection for the estimate. He was supposed to bring a color chart and failed to do so. I was instructed to go by the business that does the painting to see their colors. No one at the business could help me and I pretty much had to wing it. <br /> He just seems too busy to provide adequate customer service. <br />

<p>Everything went fine. We visited the show room after the folks came out and gave us an estimate. They gave us more information than others we contacted. We had about 5 estimates and we liked this company and the price was great.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>We like that you pull them shut, lock them and you are finished. No installing panels anymore.</p> <br />

I can not rave enough about the amazing experience I had with Van and the men working at Affordable Glass. I really did my homework before choosing them, knowing it was a large, costly job. I decided on accordian shutters for my doors and windows. They are a relatively easy solution to protect my property, but the fact I can close them myself without relying on anyone, was the reason I chose them. The area of my lanai includes 5 different openings. Van showed me a new type of hurricane protection that was a screen. Those screens were the best investment I have made for my home since I own it. These screens not only give great protection from hurricanes, they allow light in my home when the other screens are closed. I use the screens on a daily basis, as they make my lanai "enclosed" allowing the family to use the area during rain storms, and colder nights. The workers were always on time and pleasant. One of my neighbors also chose Affordable Glass, and were just as satisfied. <br /> <br />

<p>I was pleasantly surprised to have the entire order ready in less than a week. The installation crew showed up right on schedule and completed the job in a very professional manner. Unfortunately 3 of the shutters had to be replaced due to the size being wrong. The installation crew left around 3:00 on Feb. 4th and were back at my house the next morning with the correct shutters. </p> I would highly recommend Affordable Glass Protection for any of your hurricane shutter needs. I was kept aware of the schedule at all times by Barbara in the office. I contaced Van Jackson several times on his cell phone and always received a return call quickly if he wasn't available. I know I made the right decision in choosing Affordable Glass Protection for my hurricane shutter needs. <br />

They did an excellent job! They were on time and let me know ahead of time when they were coming. The overall experience was very pleasant and easy. They even showed me how to operate the shutters after they had installed them. I am happy with my shutters and would certainly recommend them to others. I was very impressed their service and wish more companies were like them.

The did a real good job with the work. I wish the cost was less but I got upgraded to top of the line shutters as I am disabled and they are easier to open and close. I recommended them to a neighbor across the street.

The service was great. I was a little disappointed in the young lady that came out and gave the estimate. I wanted accordion shutters on my garage and she said they would not work but the installers said they would have worked. The guy who came out and installed the shutters did a great job.

It turned out wonderful. The owner is not full of personality and it did take a little longer to do the job. The guys who actually installed the shutters did a great job and were very nice to work with.

He has always done a great job with the service and I would definitely use them again. We did need a replacement shutter one time for third floor bathroom and they could not do the work as they would need a boom truck to do the service and he told us up front that for that particular repair he could not do it. He did recommend someone for the work.

They did a good job on the first interaction and installation. The price was right, the work was good, and they were prompt as well. They cleaned up after themselves. I called them a year ago to have more work done and they would not get back with me on what it would cost for the additional work. They must have been very busy but I just gave up on that. I have not had the additional work done at this time. I would consider using them for the work if they would respond in a reasonable time.
