Nicely greeted themselves before & after. Arrived on time, sticker & sorted boxes to go to storage & house. Tool everything to storage first. Then went to house. Helped put together & place furniture where it should go that look & fits the best. Took back to storage what didn't fit into a trayler home. Collected payments.

They were a bit late in starting, but worked hard and steadily till the job was done. There was not a scratch or ding made in the house. they were kind polite and congenial. I would hire them again and I recommend them highly.

<p>Horrific - they were hours late, slow when the arrived, and attempted to overcharge.  I would never use these guy - run away.  ON top of that, who does a hit and run on a fence and deny it by saying they do not see any damage on their truck?   I have the witnesses and pics - see you in small claims.  I can not believe you are on Angies LIst.   </p> <br />

They're local people. I like them. They were very good. They were friendly, on time and they had reasonable cost. They were efficient. I didn't check around for price because I've used them before and they were reasonable then and everybody I talked to felt they're reasonable. They were right on time. They were a few minutes early.

It seemed if there was little communications between the person who provided the estimate, the person who did the scheduling and the actual movers.  An item was damaged and little feedback was provided to customer regarding status of repairs.  The repair work turned out great thanks to one of the movers who took it upon himself to finish the work started by a contracted repair company.  A  freezer was contracted to be moved, but movers said it couldn't be done and did not call for additional assistant.  With a little thought, my husband and I were able to move it on our own.  We had 4 different movers over 2 moving dates - some were excellent and had patience with owner to make sure furniture was placed where owner wanted it. Other movers did not seem properly trained and, even though being paid by the hour, seemed anxious to finish and leave.  Price was reasonable for a local move.  Be specific about your requirements for the actual people who will be moving you (experience, level of patience, ability to lift...) - getting the right people on your moving date is the key!  The owner was responsive when called directly. <br />

They did a great job. They moved everything inside and outside of the house. They were very polite and courteous. It wasn't easy job, but they managed to move everything without any damage whatsoever.

Everything went as expected. They were on time, they worked steadily, nothing was damaged at all.  This is the third time I've used Affordable Moving in the county where I live since 2000. I will surely call them for my next move too.

I got quotes from several movers, but decided to go with Affordable because they were a smaller local company who knew where my storage garage was.  They were willing to pack the van and clean out my storage garage without my presence in Sonora.  They were actually the most expensive bid I got, but I felt more confident that they would be able to handle the job right.  They communicated with me very well up to the move and answered all of my questions.  They were careful about packing everything into the van, blanket-wrapping my antique furniture, and strapping everything very well.  Nothing was damaged at all.  The van arrived, amazingly, only 15 minutes past the time it was scheduled!  The driver was courteous, efficient, cheerful, and hard-working in unloading the van.  My only 2 complaints about the move were, they told the driver it was an 8-hour drive.  I had let them know it was at least 11 hours, so the poor driver, sent alone, had to drive 11 hours in one day!  My second problem is that I emailed them very detailed directions on how to get to my house and told them to give them to the driver.  The driver never got the directions, so he called me from town and I had to drive down to pilot him back to my place, which is extremely hard to find.  So, overall, I was very pleased, but it seemed that communication with the driver was pretty poor and things could have been made a lot easier for him if they had transmitted the information I gave them, including drive time estimate, to him. <br />

Everything went smoothly. They were so helpful. I like their promptness. They did what they said they were going to do, and they did it. They were right on time. It was just very pleasant. There was nothing that was dented, and they had everything wrapped tightly.
