With them, there was a misunderstanding. When they came, I thought they were coming with the paint. I would like stuff like that clarified before they get started. I didn't know I had to supply the paint. I'm thinking if I hire a painter, painters bring the paint. He did happen to have something there on his truck and he charged me for it. I had to go with that color because I needed that done. I wasn't too satisfied with that aspect, the communications process. I'm old school. I'm used to dealing with people on the phone, not online and not on email. They showed up about an hour late.

The painters were awesome. They did an excellent job. The business owner didn't paint. During his visits, he went on and on going over the same details. I purchased three painters for a day for $640, which sounded great. The owner seemed to do a bait and switch on me. He told me that his guys couldn't do a bathroom in the same day. I knew that I would pay extra for all that I wanted, but I ended up paying a lot more money to get what I wanted painted. When the guys painted the bathrooms, they took a break for lunch and came back to complete the job. So when he told me that the painters couldn't do a bathroom in a day due to the paint needing time to dry, it wasn't true. I loved the painting but the business owner was not anyone that I'd want to deal with again. <br />

"The Customer fails to mention that it was not 1 Bathroom, but 3 full bathrooms, and 1 1/2 bathroom, and her and her husband also had me paint a entrance foyer, living room, stairway and upper loft area that had 22 foot high walls (extensive extinction ladder work) we also paint the ceilings, yes she is right I did tell her that it was a lot more than just the 1 day of work she purchased, I charged her for 5 days of work which was more than fair, I left her with the estimate for her and husband to think over and consider, and told her she had the option to contact angieslist and get a refund on the 1 day of labor they purchased, they however contacted me by phone later that same evening and told me they wanted to precede with me and my crew doing the job, we set up a start date and showed up on the start date and began the work, we also helped them purchase all the interior paint, I got all the paint from Sherwin Williams on my account at my painting contractor pricing and passed along the savings to the customers, I presented the receipts to the customers and they paid me for paint materials at the finish of complete job, they did not have to pay not 1 penny more for paint materials (which they agreed too) so in closing I have these 2 things to state........................ #1. I and my painters do not work for free, nor do we work for less than meager wages (no matter what unfair and unrealistic expectations someone may have) we do not work for minimum wages, let alone less than that!!!!!! #2. The customers / home owners had every option to reject my bid, and go with another painting contractor (which was more than their right to do so) and they certainly did not have a gun put to their head, they freely choose to accept my labor bid based on 5 working days, and agree to have me purchase paint (they provided all wall colors) they got quality paint at no mark up, and was more than pleased with the professional painting services that performed for them. "I Guess you can please some of the people some of the time, but not all the people all the time, LOL""

Joe Wolf and his two painters showed up exactly on time and promptly went to work. They were fast, efficient, clean,helpful, and did an excellent job. Afterward they cleaned up, put the furniture back where it had been, and except for the beautiful new color in my living room, the house looked as if no workmen had ever been in it that day. <br />

Everything went better than expected! We were out of town while the house was painted so it was a wonderful surprise to come home and see such a great job. All the corners were clean, lines were straight, no drips on the concrete, no trash, no cigarette butts in the yard and they even brought their own trash cans. We're actually having them come back to paint/stain the deck, railing and stairs once the wood dries out. This is been a second home project for us.

Very professional and knowledgeable. All services were completed as promised in a timely manner - complete job start to finish was 4 days. Provided free estimate of work as well as a written contract detailing all services to be provided and materials to be used. Always very courteous - willing to work around my work schedule to get the front door painted. Completely cleaned up each day - could not even tell that someone had been here by the end of the job except that my house looks brand new. Very satisfied with all that was done. <br />

This was a wonderful experience from my initial contact to the completion of the job. Mr. Joe Wolf was personable and professional. He provided a very detailed written estimate. He explained exactly what was needed and gave me a very accurate estimate on the time frame that it would take to paint my home. He kept me informed throughout the job. He an his workers even went above and beyond by fixing a wall repair behind the fridge that my husband and I didn't even know exsisted. They also cleaned from the behind the fridge and stove where the previous owners had left a mess. I enjoyed this experience so much that I asked for an exterior paint quote before they left. I WILL definitely be calling them again. <br />

The process was very easy I used Angie's list picked the top 3 painters and got bids. All the contractors were very competent and the bids were all within a few hundred dollars. Mr.Wolf was punctual and provided a written bid the same day, the process was well explained and option pros and cons reviewed. The selling point for me was in two business days he was able too start. His crew was very experienced and still he was on site everyday for the majority of the day supervising and assisting. I know I put price as a concern (B), I hadn't had the house painted in ten years and the cost had tripled. however, we did use above average materials and that was pricey, but at my request. The prep on our home with all its age was a lot they really worked hard scrapping and priming. The contract called for two coats of paint but if an area needed it they applied a third coat. Bottom line ,if I had a problem I would speak with Mr. Wolf and it was handled, communication always key. This is a solid company and I like Mr. Wolf's attention to detail attitude. <br />

They were very professional and knew what they were doing. They were extremely careful to cover the tile and wood floors in our home. We couldn't be any happier! <p>First meeting with company's owner, Mr. Wolf, included a detailed assessment of work to be done: Pressure washing, caulking, structural repairs, removal and replacement of wall decorations, furniture/gas grills & smoker, etc., from porches. Mr. Wolf knows his business! In less than an hour he provided me with a quote for the job (materials and labor) and an estimate of the time required. Within 24 hours, he emailed me a detailed list of work to be done along with a contract to agree with all particulars. Good business practices exercised! No questions left to be resolved later on the job.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>The crew showed up first thing the following Monday morning and commenced the project. They worked steadily from early morning 'til late in the afternoon for four days, accomplishing everything on the to-do list with a few extra touches thrown in. They were exceptionally professional, providing detailed work smoothly with minimum interference with my household routine. The crew leader conscientiously consulted with me and/or my wife when anything came up during the process that needed clarification or a decision from us. We have used Mr. Wolf's company before and have returned to them as a result of their reliability and unfailing dedication and attention to detail. <br /> We wanted to be creative in our use of multiple colors and patterns and they rose to the challenge! For example, some of our corners and door frames were not always straight (many thanks to our builder!), in some cases off by almost an inch from top to bottom. This required expertise on the part of the painters to make the stripe patterns look straight, and they were clearly very experienced at doing this. <br /> Mr. Wolf and his whole team, especially Chris, clearly take pride in their work and took every step to ensure they left us with impressive quality work. They were good natured and respectful. <br /> We are so happy with the results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to others, including for exterior painting (we recently had them repaint the outside of our house as well).

Mr. Wolff came over to examine the job, examined every task, and made suggestions how to do things more efficiently and economically. He provided the quote right then, and said he would provide us with a written proposal that evening. His price seemed fair, and we said we looked forward to the proposal. <br /> The second painter arrived late. He examined the job, and said he would provide a proposal later in the evening. <br /> True to his word, Mr. Wolff provided a multi-page proposal that described every aspect of the job, and what we could expect from him and his team. The second painter called, and figured out his proposal, room by room, in real time on the phone. I wasn't impressed. On top of that, he wanted $400 for materials. Mr. Wolff wanted to meet me at Sherwin Williams and allow me to use his discount; that means he made no margin on the materials (which actually cost to $203). The second painter's bid was also far higher. We went with Mr. Wolff. <br /> The contract provided for a two-man team, and allowed for two days to finish the job. On Monday morning, at the appointed time, a 3-man team showed up. All their tools and materials were laid out on our front porch, on heavy painters tarps. The team attacked the three rooms quietly and professionally. They covered every piece of furniture and the floor, and fixed any holes or imperfections in the walls. Everything was primed, received two coats of paint, all the trim was done. These gentlemen were absolutely polite and conscientious and very thorough. <br /> They finished in one day, not too. I was asked to inspect the work - twice - and found only a couple of minor touch up areas. We were more than satisfied with the work. <br /> What struck us through this experience was the complete professionalism that was shown by Mr. Wolff and by his team. That is a rare thing, in my experience. Very good work, a fair price, and a truly complete job. (They cleaned up so well we couldn't even tell they'd been there all day.) <br /> I would never hesitate to hire them again. They are my go-to painters from now on. <br />

He lied to us over and over again in a four day period about how he was going to make up for what had already happened and that he was sorry. We finally asked him to bring our supplies to us with receipts on the fourth day. At 8:30 in the morning he was out in front of house and had his man open our gate on the side of our house to get his ladders without telling us first and getting permission. He was going to try to get them and just leave. We went running out, demanded he get out of his van and give us our receipts, supplies, and a refund for the money he had kept. He started to drive off and we called 911 so he stooped. He got our supplies out of the back and wrote a check for the remainder of the money for the un-purchased supplies. We now have found out that not all the supplies he even spent money on were probably intended for our house. It appears he was buying for another project with our money. We had used Mr Wolf for an interior paint job and were very pleased with the quality of the work, attention to detail, and his professionalism. He was the first person we thought off when we realized we needed the exterior of our two-story home repainted. <br /> This exterior job including filling in of stucco cracks, and we wanted to ensure the patching would not be visible after the job was done. We had many hairline cracks and at least one area at the front that was much worse. We opted for the middle of three paint quality options which meant the paint would last a reasonable number of years. The quote was higher than a competitor but we trusted the quality we would get from Mr. Wolf and his team. <br /> Pressure washing went well, and made a big difference as we had never had this done before (4 year old house). The patching was done next, and then the final paint job with multiple coats, all within a few short days. <br /> We did a walk-through with Mr. Wolf and his team on the last day, and they followed me around so they could fix any touch-ups (I only found one dab of paint that was needed). His team is respectful and professional. <br /> All in all, we are extremely pleased with the results. The repaired stucco cracks are invisible and the paint job is neat and thorough. While I am no paint expert, it is readily apparent that Mr. Wolf knows his craft and cares about doing the best job possible with the best materials. You need only see his very detailed and thorough written quotes to realize this. <br /> We highly recommend this company for interior and exterior painting. We are already scheduling them to do more interior work for us soon! <br />

Very professional and responsive to questions. Prompt arrival. Prepped all the walls, calked, filled cracks, spackled,etc.. very thorough and efficient. Cleaned up afterward. I did discover a small area they missed the next morning....they were out that afternoon to take care of the issue. I love good customer service. <br />

They provided a detailed estimate in writing and did a good job of following up with me. My husband and I both travel so we are not always easy to get in touch with. After we hired them, they showed up on time, stayed late to finish the project and cleaned up after themselves so we had minimal interruption to our household! They worked hard to make sure we were happy. <br />

First of all, I would like to say that Joe and his crew are very professional. They did an excellent job for a fair price and tried to minimize the disruption to my family in the process. I would go out of my way to hire them again for my next job. <br /> When we contacted Joe based on the previous reviews on Angie's list, he came out and gave a very fair estimate. We made the decision to hire him, and he scheduled the work for about 2 weeks out, which he told us would be the time frame. His communication was excellent, and when he got delayed by a day, he called and let us know that was going to happen. <br /> The crew showed up on time and got right to work. Joe got them organized in an efficient manner, and they had removed wallpaper from my 3 bathrooms and kitchen in a day. The guys on his crew were friendly, polite, professional, and worked hard. My wife and I had to leave the house, and I felt very safe leaving my young kids and nanny in the house with the crew. <br /> On the second day, the crew began repairing and prepping the walls for painting. Day 3 (which was a Saturday), they completed painting my living room and kitchen, which looked great. On day 4, they finished all 3 bathrooms and wrapped up the job. Joe came back out and did a walk through. There were 2 small items I wanted fixed and they did them quickly. <br /> Not only did they do a great job, but they went out of their way on a few items to see how I wanted them done. For instance, I planned on replacing some of the light fixtures, so I had them remove the lights, fix the walls behind them, paint underneath them, and then they re-installed the current fixtures. This was not in the scope of work I signed, but they did it anyways. They replaced all the outlet covers every night that my kids could reach for safety reasons without me even asking. <br /> Overall, I not only would I hire these guys again, but they would be my only call. <br /> <br />

We planned to be away when the work was done so security was important. Joe is an on the job owner and happily everything was fine when we got back. Joe was very aggressive in getting the job. Surprisingly not everyone was. He began the work when he said he would and it was finished before we returned. He used quality paint and each room received a double coat. My house is not the Taj Mahal so we are talking about a basic paint job. What I can say is all wall imperfections were repaired professionally before painting; there are no streaks, smears or sheen; there was no damage to rugs or furniture and the paint lines(I.e., where walls meet ceilings )were pretty close to perfect. I recommend the company and based on the quality of work and the good price I can only assume Joe prefers quick nickels to slow dollars. <br />

It went fine. He did exactly what and when he said he would. The overall result was not what I was looking for, but that was no fault of his. The previous company we hired to paint did an absolute terrible job. Never hire Reliable Handyman out of Palatka for anything - hire Joe from Affordable Professional Painting. <br />

The job went well. They were walls repairings therefore creating dust and repainting a few walls to Mr. Joe and our satisfication. He is very professional and leaves the impression - another job handled by Joe Wolfe and staff. A neighbor (electrician) came over to do some work and he asked Joe to come over to give him an estimate for an interior painting job. Very good work! <br />
