Hired to perform a sewer line inspection after a recent home purchase. Showed up on schedule and explained everything in real time. Very fair price and would hire again in the future.

Our drain was backing up. He came out same-day, about 3 hours after we called, was meticulous, asked a lot of questions to figure out where the lines were coming from and where they were going. Went into through a clean-out and spent a good amount of time getting everything out and clearing the blockage. Very friendly, informative, and experienced, would definitely hire again.

Joe arrived withing the1 hour window in which he estimated and called 1/2 hour ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and ETA.  I have this service done every year or two due to root growth and in the last 11 years, he is the only contractor to lay down a tarp and clean up after his work. He has created his own proprietary rooter bit to better remove roots.  He snaked the line twice and properly checked his work by running water thru the line.  Offers 30 day limited warranty.  Very professional and courteous. <br />

<p>It went excellent.  They showed up on time and did a very neat and professional job.  They left the working area cleaner then when they arrived.  The work was preformed in a quick and timely manner.  I would use this company again.</p> <br />

<p>2nd time I used Affordable Rooter at my house.  1st time was just to clear a clogged drain.  This time was for a leaking drain and vent pipe that were improperly installed by the previous owner.  Both time I used him he showed up on time, was responsive and did clean / neat work.  This was a rather difficult spot to work inside the cabinet, but was able to do everything without having to pull the cabinet / countertop or backsplash apart which was important for me. </p> <p>I would highly recommend their services.</p> <br />

Answered after hours call with friendly voice.  Came out right away, immediately and accurately diagnosed problem.  Fixed problem quickly, cleanly and efficiently.  Offered opinion on cause and advice to prevent similar problems in the future.  I highly recommend Affordable Rooter!  I would absolutely use AR again.  Great job! They removed the phone by pushing it further in so they could twist it and then remove it.   <br /> They fixed the clogged sink by first removing the stopper and with a wire hook removed lots of hair.   <br /> The sink drained so they did not have to do the next step which was to remove the elbow part of the drain.   <br /> I appreciate that they tried the simplest solutions first and luckily they worked!   <br /> The other nice thing was I forgot about the discount that was mentioned for Angie List members on the website.     <br /> He reminded me and reduced the cost accordingly.  I thought his charges were reasonable for coming out on a Saturday and fixing two problems.   They were not major problems but he could have made it seem like they were and charged me a lot more to fix them.  I have had that happen before.  I appreciated the honesty! <br />

Kitchen sink wouldn't drain and started filling with water when bathtub above was used.  Called Joe the next morning and luckily he was available.  He was punctual and courteous and gave some basic do's and don'ts tips.  The price he charged was reasonable and also honored the Angie's List first-time customer coupon. <br />

Joe was great. He took my call right away and was over within a couple of hours for an urgent but not emergency block. <br /> He understood the problem right away, cleared it out, and gave me a couple pointers to hopefully prevent future problems. Very professional. <br />

Joe was punctual, friendly, professional & reasonably priced.  Our shower was completely clogged & he cleared the huge calcium deposits due to our hard water in no time. Our sink was running slow & he simply raised the stopper a bit & that did the trick.  We will use him in the future for our plumbing needs. <br />

Joe  was great and able to resolve the problem within an hour. Previous to that, I had a plumber who was going to charge me $1000 to re-run the pipe to another line. I am very glad to find Joe and fixed the issue at a reasonable cost. I would recommend him to do my next job. <br />

After inspecting work, said we should have septic tank pumped first and did not charge for the service call. Came right away, was courteous and polite and very professional. <br />

I found this company on the List, and, because of the great reviews, decided to take the leap of faith and called Joe, explaining my problem.  Within fifteen minutes of leaving the message on his machine, I received a call back. We arranged a time at my convenience, and, he and his associate were there exactly when he said they would be .  Both were very professional.  It was obvious that they knew their business and explained everything they were going to do before they did it.  They were, and this I find most important, respectful of my home---very neat and methodical with their work, even to the point of wearing those little booties when they needed to walk though the house.   <br /> Overall, I was very pleased with the service  and would definitely use then again. <br />

First price I was given was around $150 and then when he got there he said it would be $300.  Then he said that he couldnt find the clean out so he had to put one in and $856 later he finally cleared the drain.  Also would not except Angie List coupon.  Very disappointed in Angie's List and Affordable Rooter for ripping me off and on top of it not excepting the coupon. <br />

Very punctual; arrived on time. I have used them in the past (on a holiday and they arrived quickly and did not overcharge for holiday time). They cleaned up thoroughly (cleaning a waste drain is a very dirty job) and made suggestions on how to maintain the drain so it wouldn't clog. EXCELLENT, reliable, and affordable drain cleaning! <br />

Joe responded to my voice mail even though it was 7:00 PM. He arrived within the 45 minute time period he allowed to get here. Joe was courteous and knowledgable. I was very satisfied with his work. <br />
