Excellent work on complex surfaces including tray ceilings, wainscoting, two-story walls, and high ceilings. The owner Matt and his team were extremely professional, neat and tidy, punctual, and kept in close contact with us during the job. Pleasant to interact with, and we will definitely use for all of our future painting jobs.

"Hi [Member Name Removed], I'm sorry you found it necessary to bad mouth me on Angie's List after I missed one email that was a response to an email that I sent two months earlier. Regarding the entertainment center, your husband informed me that it was damaged by the movers and not fixed correctly BY THEM. Because I am a good person, I told you to go ahead and pick someone to fix it and I would pay for it. As far as the bathroom goes, I told you in the email dated December 22nd that I was happy to come and look at it. If, since, according to your Angie's List review, you weren't happy with the bathroom, why did you pay me the entire balance at completion and mention nothing about it at that time? Also in the email dated December 22nd, I informed you that the crack in the bedroom was a settlement crack and may keep returning and that I would look at it to confirm when I came out for the bathroom. I understand everyone wants the best for their homes and I work hard to deliver that. Matt"

Matt and Ronny arrived right on time. Matt called first, 20 minutes ahead of their arrival as we had requested. Matt is the owner of the company, and he and I went over the details of the job to be sure that we were both on the same page. Matt left, and Ronny started to work right away. He carefully covered the floor and all exposed furniture and other items. Ronny then used Frog tape to mask the baseboard and other areas. I was impressed by this minor detail because I know that Frog tape is significantly more expensive than the standard blue painter's tape. Less than 45 minutes after his arrival, Ronny was painting. <br /> I have done my share of painting over the years, and for me, the hardest part of the job is cutting in. Ronny did this <em>freehand</em>, no masking tape, and he did a near flawless job. Again, I was impressed. Soon he was rolling the ceiling, and then the walls. Everything received two coats of paint. When he was finished, Ronny cleaned up everything, put all debris neatly into a trash bag, and left the work area as clean as when he arrived. <br /> At the end of the day, Matt called to make sure that we were satisfied with the work. I told him that both my wife and I were honestly thrilled with our newly painted family room and he could expect more work from us in the future. This was a near perfect transaction from start to finish. We LOVE Angie's List. <br />

We are very happy with the outcome. The rooms look beautiful and they were very professional and clean. They listened to our priorities (we had a long list of what we wanted done), and they were able to accomplish even more than we expected and more than they estimated without charging any extra. I would definitely use them again. <br />

I started with the deal I bought on Angie's List. Liked their work, the crew and the owner so well contracted for additional work to be done. They painted 3 full rooms (ceilings, trim and walls) They even had to do one twice since I didn't like the color once I had it on the walls. They painted all ceilings in the entire house. The crew was neat and professional at all times. They spent several days in my house and were a pleasure to have here. I will totally call them back for additional painting when I have the need. Matt worked me in the schedule for the room that was a priority and then AGAIN when I didn't like the color I originally had it painted. Not only did they paint but fixed all the lines, nail pulls, etc all over the house. Love the work and the fresh paint makes the house feel brand new! <br />

<p>Process went great.</p> <p>Very quick for the estimate, which originally included my Painting and also Power Washing and Staining my Deck. The owner revised my estimate quickly when I asked him to remove the deck from the proposal.</p> <p>They came out the day before to prep the area and were able to finish most of the work. I was unable to have anyone at the house that day to allow the front door to remain open to dry. They came back the following week to paint the front door.</p> <p>everything cme out great and I would definitely hire them the next time that I need painting done.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />

Matt showed up the Same day I called for an estimate. His price was competitive and I felt really comfortable after speaking with Matt that we chose A Finishing Touch to paint our home. Matt put us on the schedule for the last week in July and that's exactly when the work was completed. Matt and his crew were friendly, courteous, and professional. They showed up on time each day, worked hard and cleaned up at the end of the work day. I must say our home looks like new after Matt and his team completed their work. We ran into a number of complications-- the heating oil, which we didn't have experience dealing with, ran out making the house unheated and therefore keeping the paint from drying. A finishing touch informed us of the issue, stopped the clock on the work and then after a heat-less (very cold) weekend with no answer provided the insight that got to the solution, getting us back on track. <br /> As our schedule for painting had gotten pushed against the timing for the movers bringing in the big furniture to the house, a finishing touch offered to come back after the movers were done and do touch ups on any scuffs. They came back in, erasing scuffs, but also undoing another mishap-- my daughter decided to draw with crayon on the walls. A finishing touch came in and did touch ups undoing her graffiti as a courtesy. They made it all new again and it's absolutely beautiful.

<p>I highly recommend A Finishing Touch Painting and Powerwashing. Matt, the owner is very prompt, friendly, professional and went above and beyond my expectations. He is very easy to work with, honest and very reasonable. We had an older house that needed painting to get ready to sell and he went over everything we wanted done and gave us his expert opinion on what we should do, not "overselling", being very honest. We actually ended up doing less than we thought we needed to. He is very knowledgeable and communication is great. The work was performed promptly and the painters did an excellent job in prepping, painting and clean up. I would not hesitate to use his company again and highly recommend their services.</p>

We were not at home when the job was done but were pleasedwith the results. I did ask for a senior's discount after receiving the quote and was given the discount although I do not think the provider was too happy a out doing so. <br />
