Brady is the best you'll ever find for home remodeling projects.
Showed up on time. Took the time to make ever job right.
Projects were worked on over a number of months, one at a time.

The best and most honest tradesmen I've ever found.
We moved to Texas in January of 2014. We whish Brady could have come with us.
I've found some good (and bad) people to work on the Texas home. But no one who comes close to the quality of work done by Brady Brower.
It was fine. Everything was good. It was an Angie's List Big Deal and it was inexpensive.

Mike came when he said he would and repaired a hole in the roof of my barn. It was a difficult job that took
two days. Mike did an excellent job and I would recommend him to any one who needs roof work.
It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I was not overly pleased. I did not hear from them for a week or more after I purchased it so I called them. The guy was on a roof and was supposed to call me back. That didn't happen for 3 or 4 days. He said he would call me back because he had several more jobs lined up. It took a couple more phone calls. It took them a long time to get here. I have a very small house so what I was paying was really not that good of a deal for me. The price was the same no matter what the size was. As the winter has progressed, it appears that the work they did wasn't really that great. My soffits are basically coming apart and the down pipe of the gutter has come off already. I would have thought that reattaching a down spout on a gutter would have been part of them cleaning it.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out fine. They were a little late. I gave the fellow a little bit of a leeway and he took a little bit more leeway than I would have preferred. In fact, I was getting ready to give him a call and he sent the crew over, and they did the job. I just paid them the flat amount; they did not try to pressure me with any add-ons or anything like that, which was fine. I was actually wondering if they were going to do something like that, but they did not. So that was certainly a nice thing. They did what they said they were going to do. They were acting like they were in a big hurry. They were two guys and they worked as a team, and they were gone in, I think, like about an hour or something like that. It was like at least a week, if not two weeks, before they actually did come back and as I said I had been getting ready to call them in trying to find out what was going on when they finally did show up. I thought they would call in advance which they did not, so I was a little bit disappointed about that. I did not see them doing anything what I would call sloppily; they were kind of in a hurry. I did ask a question and they did do some certain tertiary types of things, like part of a gutter guard had fallen off and they did put it back on, which I had requested so that was fine.

They were nice and they did a fine job but I was expecting them to do something else in addition to that and I just happen to arrive home when they were in the process of cleaning the gutters. Apparently, they did a special and they were swamped they told me and no one told me they were coming. They didn't make a call saying we're going to be there at this hour. I didn't know they were going to show up that day much less what time and I just happen to show up when they were working and I was getting ready to explain a particular procedure that I wanted on a downspout and I couldn't do that if they had come and gone without me seeing them so I was a little unhappy with that but then it turns out they don't do the procedure that we were hoping for. My wife saw the deal online. So then, I said could you contact your boss and have him call me and let me know if this is something that he could do, maybe it would cost me more money, and no one ever called back. They were just head down, their back was up and they were working hard but they weren't calling and letting us know. They just showed up to do it. I guess I'm not used to that. I was expecting more from customer service and I think that personally, I don't care how small you are especially when you're starting out. If you have to go home and eat dinner and make phone calls, that's what you do. I'm not sure if I would use them again.

THE GOOD The interview went very well. I had a list of questions as to how the work would be performed and Mike answered the questions with confidence in every part of the job. After talking to him I felt comfortable believing the job would be done correctly. We talked about materials and agreed on a price that was comparable to other bids. I told him I was not in a hurry. A different contractor said it would be 6 weeks so I guess in my mind I thought work would start in about that time frame. To be fair, Mike never gave me a start date. This all happened in the middle of May.
THE BAD It took a week before we picked shingle brand and color and I paid an $8000 payment. 2 large pallets of materials arrived in the first week of June. The next communication with Mike was the last week of June with him saying the weather had slowed him down. The next contact was the middle of July. Mike said it would be a little longer. I contacted him again at the end of August and he said he was heading my way soon. I contacted him middle of Sept. and was told 2 weeks weather permitting. After 2 weeks Mike texted me saying it would be longer. I replied with concerns about the material being on pallets in my yard for 4 months and gave him 3 weeks to start work or refund my payment minus material costs. He replied he had the permit and would start work the first week of Oct. Dumpster arrived on a Monday 8 days later. Some wood was dropped off on Friday. Work started the next Friday.
MORE GOOD Once the crew was here they did a great job. They protected my and the neighbors house during tear off and cleaned up every day. After tear off we discovered the addition roof tie in needed to be corrected which was outside the original bid. Mike rebuilt that and it looks and functions great. He did a lot of extras like disposing of some junk I had and putting some bolts in the front porch for a swing. He also partially roofed the playhouse to match the house(untill he ran out of shingles).I was very happy with the work.
MORE BAD A week later I requested a paid in full invoice for taxes and the playhouse roof to be finished and Mike said he would take care of it.
It's been 7 weeks and still no invoice or finished roof on the playhouse.
FINAL WORD If you want a quality job and have no time pressure then I recommend Mike. This was a 2 1/2 story hip roof and was not an easy job and took over 7 days to complete. That may have figured in to to delay. All in all it's been a roller coaster ride. He probably would have gotten here sooner if his Angies list A rating (and rightfully so in most cases) wouldn't have increased his business so much.
On 12/6/13, I purchased gutter cleaning, roof debris removal and gutter tune-up (for which I had a coupon from Angie's list). Promptly the very next day, Agape representatives came out to clean the gutters even though it was very cold out. For a minimal fee, even though it was unplanned, they also replaced some shingles that had fallen off. I was very, very pleased with their quick response and willingness to do extra work. I will definitely use their services again.
Great job. We live in a wooded area so the roof gets pretty messy.
removed leaves from roof and checked gutters. They originally provided the service on Nov. 8, 2013 but I did not know they were providing the service on that date. I called to set up service date on Nov.12, 2013 and even though the service had been provided the crew came back on Nov. 15th to be sure the gutters were functioning properly. I will definitely use this service again.

I was very pleased with the service Agape provided. I used the special deal provided by Angie's List and Agape. I informed Agape the leaves were down. I could not even tell they had been here....there were no leaves left on the sidewalks or any other signs. I could see the limb had been pruned and water at the end of my long drain. Communication was fine and people were pleasant. I will definitely ask them to come back in spring when the seedlings grow in the gutters. Way to go, Agape.
Excellent contractor. Will be having him back for other work. Work site cleaned up every day. Could not be happier with the price and the quality of the work.
Mike was prompt, efficient and professional during the estimate phase. He was very accomodating as it took a bit to secure the funds. When we were ready, he provided an approximate date to begin and end the work. His roofing crew was friendly, professional and hard-working. They listened to any questions I had and tried to accommodate us. Mike was in communication every day of the project and very interested in making sure we were completely satisfied. Because of the size of the roof, it became a two-day project and Mike was apologetic. We never considered it a problem and the crew started before 7:00 am every morning. There were a few extra things provided by Mike and his crew, some tree trimming, a couple of nails tidying up a sagging garage door and a little extra cleanup around the house. We are very satisfied with Agape Construction and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the for any project. You can trust Mike and his crew.
.Mike did the roof right away and left a stack of 2 by 4's on my porch to be used for the attic. He said he would come back to to do the other 2 jobs the next week. After not hearing from him for about 3 weeks I called to see when he planned to finish the work. His wife answered and said he wasn't home and would call me back the next morning. He didn't. I called a couple more times. Each time I got the answer machine and left messages asking him to call back. He never did. I sent him an e-mail asking him to give me a call. He sent me back a blank e-mail. I'm not kidding - an email with no message. I guess he thinks it's funny. At atpoint I all I can do is call a couple of state agencies and see what recourse I have.
When I first talked to Mike we talked about the other F rating he got. He said her expectations were unreasonable. I suppose he will now say the same about me. I have hired about a half dozen people from Angie's List. This was my first bad experience. It has taught me that I have to be more cautious even in using Angie"s List. Another thing that made me less cautious than I should have been was the name of Mike's company. Agape is a Christian name. It's the word for love in the Greek New Testament. As Christian myself, I thought I could trust someone who presented himself as a Christian. I was wrong.
THIS IS NOT SOMEONE YOU WANT TO HIRE

NOT GOOD AT ALL!!!
7/14 ? sent Angie?s List inquiry.
7/15 ? received Angie?s List message that he will contact me soon.
7/17 ? Received voicemail and phoned Mike back to discuss my needs. He said to remind him on Friday to come and see my house and to come to evaluate on Saturday 7/20 at 12 noon.
7/20 ? Phone call from Mike that he is running late. Mike arrived around 3 and evaluated my roof. He also looked around the property and made other recommendations of repairs needed. Mike then sat down with me to discuss and gave a price of $1,850 along with a GUARENTEE. Mike?s GUARENTEE was that my roof will be good for many years and he will make my whole roof waterproof. If I noticed any other leaks that he would return if needed until all was well. THE GUARENTEE AND PRICE QUOTE WAS VERBAL, NOTHING IN WRITING (unfortunately).
7/20 ? Mike went to the store to purchase roofing materials and arrived back to begin the work. He said he will try to finish today but may need to return on Sunday if he was not able to complete before dark on Saturday. The work was completed by about 8:30, I paid by credit card the $1850 ? 3 hours of work.
7/26 ? It began to rain. I had already patched the plaster which was originally effected by the roof leak and realized the roof was STILL LEAKING! What a mess! I phoned Mike, and left a message. When the ENCLOSED FRONT PORCH STARTED RAINING, I realized that THIS repair did NOT take either. I phoned Mike again, left another voicemail. FINALLY, on my 3rd phone call to Mike, he answered saying he received my messages. Mike said he is very busy but will try to come out to redo the repairs on Saturday or Sunday 7/27 or 7/28. I did not see or hear from Mike at all over the weekend. NO SHOW!
7/30 ? I sent 2 text messages, and left 2 voicemails to Mike before I finally received a text message back from him saying that he could be there Wednesday 7/30 or the next day. I asked him to let me know for sure when he will be there. I DID NOT GET A RESPONSE. ANOTHER NO SHOW!
8/2 ? I sent Mike a text that I haven?t heard back from him. Mike?s response ? ?Im waiting on a roll of stuff for your roof?, Me ? ?Thanks. When do u think u will be back??, Mike ? ?Its so bad im going to put this over the bad areas?, ?They said two weeks for it to be in and that was a week ago?, Me ? ?What will it look like??, Mike ? ?Crap lol no it is blk but I can?t get it in any other color?, Me ? ?Will my tenants be upset by the way it will look? I don?t want it to look like a tarp over the house? --- NO FURTHER RESPONSE FROM MIKE!!!
8/11 ? I sent Mike another text saying ?Mike, I haven?t heard back from u on the status of my roof repair. I need U to get back to me ASAP. I have already paid for roof repair that has not been completed and need a resolution. I need a commitment of the day and time u will complete the job otherwise we will need to discuss a refund. Thank you.?
Mike's response ? ?Been Waiting on material to come in but I may have to use something else its taking forever I know I?m sorry.?
My reply ? ?What and when????
NO FURTHER RESPONSE!
LATER THAT NIGHT I SENT ANOTHER TEXT ? ?Since I didn?t hear back from you, u have left me to believe u will continue to delay actually making the repairs I have already paid for. If my roof is not fixed by tomorrow I will be disputing the charge and adding my review of your services to Angie?s List. I hope that I am mistaken in thinking u have just been trying to rip me off. I guess I will know for sure soon enough!?
LATER THAT NIGHT ? Mike's RESPONSE ? ?Well im sorry u feel that way your roof is horrible and is very hard to make waterproof I need to have a product that will cover and stay on the roof I told you I will make it out that is all I can do!? -- HE STILL WOULD NOT SAY WHEN OR MAKE ANY REAL COMMITTMENT!!!
8/12 ? I sent text to Mike ? ?Have u been able to complete the repairs on my roof yet??
NO RESPONSE!
8/12 ? I filed a dispute with my credit card company.

Response from Agape Construction & Improvement
"I'm very sorry you feel that way, I wish I would not have tried to fix your problems because it needed a full roof to stop all leaks, and by trying to do something good for you it comes and bites me I will post pcs of this roof so my customers can see what I was working with."
