After weeks of rain or threats of rain (over a month), the concrete pour was scheduled and took place late in the afternoon. However, the workers apparently did not wait sufficient time before stamping, causing ridges, valleys, and a very uneven surface such that the foreman immediately stated they would have to break up and repour. After another month of waiting for the contractor's insurance payment, the work was scheduled but this time due to a lack of manpower, the owner elected to refund my money. The entire summer has been wasted and I still have an eyesore in my backyard where a patio was supposed to be. I will never go with a small company again because their lack of qualified labor resources caused unacceptable delays and a botched job.

Aggregate Cement quickly assessed our proposed driveway project and provided a cost estimate, time lime and definitive contract. They always showed up as scheduled and worked diligently for several days. The final product exceeded my highest expectations. In addition to the new driveway way, the surrounding worksite was left in perfect condition. Without question, this small, family owned company exhibited the professionalism and expertise that this project required.

They brought the concrete truck straight over an existing sidewalk into a yard, breaking the sidewalk in two large areas and then getting the truck stuck in the yard and needing to be towed out. No reimbursement or correction has been offered for this sidewalk damage. They poured the driveway without expansion joints; we did call and question this to no avail. Now every slab already has cracks. Further, the concrete is of variable quality--some of it still sweeps off with a broom. As for the slab for the garage, the bill we paid clearly called for rebar; none was installed. Subsequently, we had to pay a structural engineer an additional sum to inspect to meet the requirements of our city permit. Further, the slab is not square as you will see in the pictures.

Great group of folks to deal with. The crews were courteous and worked hard. Start to finish the job took a couple days longer than expected and a bit over budget but overall a great experience.

2 weeks to remove old driveway. Had to hire someone else to complete. Still turned out bad.

Pros: Good price; Friendly; Very responsive to text; Driveway looks good Cons: Would say they were coming over on multiple occasions and didn’t come back to take away extra dirt or pull out forms (we did it ourselves); There is a slope towards the side garage door and rain water has come in the garage We had a lot of rain delays which was not their fault. I almost feel bad listing the cons here because they were genuinely nice guys but I feel like it’s my duty to be 100% honest. If you are extremely patient and looking for a good price, then I would hire them.

It seemed to go well; however, with the first rain there was a huge “bird bath” at the garage end of the driveway. The contractor promised to fix it but we are still waiting for that to happen. Reasons for the delay were given as rain and illness of an employee.

Robert was great to work with and got the job done very fast for a fair price! In fact, he did it under the budget that we had set and tried to always find us the best deal. Would definitely recommend.

It was excellent. They came one day and the very next day the concrete truck came out. They had a wheelbarrow to bring the concrete in the backyard. They leveled it, made it flat, waited a little bit to dry, and from there the work was done.
