Steve showed up and first filled the unit with nitrogen to see if the leak could be located that way. Since the leak was so small and was located under some line insulation it was not evident. Step 2 was to vacuum out Nitrogen and replace with Freon and dye. We ran the unit for 24 hours and then Steve came back the following day and found the leak from the dye. He then had to repair the hole and then refill the system with coolant again after another deep vacuum.   <br /> All in all he was very professional and he told me from the very beginning how much the cost would be and stuck to that exact price to the penny. Steve is definitely one of the most honest tradesmen in the business and I will definitely be using him again when it comes time to replace my ageing AC unit. <br />

We recently purchased our home and wanted to make sure the AC was in good condition so we set up an initial service/cleaning for the AC unit with Air 4-U based on other reviews and hearing positive comments from some acquaintances. Steve, the owner, was punctual and professional. He was very knowledgeable and advised me on the condition of my AC unit and provided advice for ongoing maintenance. I am very happy with the service and will definitely use this company again should I have any problems with my AC. <br />

<p>The last time he came, he said he'd finally figured out why the furnace kept stopping:  too much wind coming down the chimney, he said, and promised to come back in a day or two with a new chimney cap, "...that should fix the problem."</p> <p>He never came back. And when we called and e-mailed him, he didn't respond.</p> <p>We finally called Cornerstone Air. They came promptly, correctly diagnosed what was wrong, and installed a part the next day that corrected the problem for good. And, by the way, it WASN'T a new cap for the chimney!</p> <p><br /></p> <br />

During the inspection, he said that the AC unit looked really good. In August, I noticed it was warm in my house, and I had him come back out. He discovered that the reason for the heat was because the AC line had some build-up. He didn't charge for the second visit. I was really impressed and I appreciated how nice and professional he was. <br /> <br /> I didn't feel like he was trying to charge me for work or parts that I didn't need, and he was able to easily explain everything to me in layman's terms. He even wrote everything down so I was able to research what he was talking about. He left me happy and impressed.

They gave us options.. that was awesome -- They have install AC units in two of our houses. <br /> Have on going services contract with them. <br /> <br />

My central heat/air system was installed in 2013 and I had ongoing <br /> problems with the drain line getting blocked. The original installer <br /> was unable (or unwilling?) to address the problem and wanted to charge <br /> me a $75 service fee every time they came out. I called Air 4 U when I <br /> was without air conditioning in June. They came out the same day (a <br /> Sunday!) and made a serious attempt to address the problem. When it <br /> turned out more work was needed, they came out the next day at no <br /> additional charge. I've had no problems since. I appreciated their <br /> promptness and reasonable price. Most of all, they solved the problem <br /> and now my system works the way it should. I would definitely recommend <br /> these guys. <br />

They were quick in coming out for an estimate and once we decided to use them on Friday evening they came to do the install on Tuesday am, did a great job. He was prompt and left everything nice and clean.

Their price was a whole lot cheaper than the price of the other company. They charged me under $100 and the other people were going to charge me $250 or something. Their pricing was good and that was amazing. I had a little trouble in getting a hold of them but the guy who came out gave me his cellphone number so that I would be able to call him in the future.

Our air conditioning system was not cooling properly. Recommendations were provided via phone of things to try before scheduling a service call. After completing these home maintenance tasks, the air was still not cooling. A service call was scheduled within a reasonable amount of time. Once the problem was diagnosed, the air conditioning system was serviced and working properly. <br />

A far cry from my previous experiences with ac guys, Air 4 U and Steve Tuure was a fantastic experience for us. He gave us a more than fair quote considering what he was selling us and the work he was including in it. He performed it in half the time he said it could take. He and his employee were super friendly and incredibly hard working. I would definitely recommend Steve to anyone who need A/C repairs or replacement. <br /> I was told he was the most honest AC guy around and I found that to be true. While some of the other estimates I got turned out to not be as accurate as they originally looked but even if they were Steve's prices and bang for buck would have beaten them. I feel very confident the installation was done by a knowledgeable and experienced tech and that he will be super responsive if I ever have a problem. <br /> The job seemed to be a bit more than we originally thought considering mold was found and ducts had to be replaced, clogging was found in the pipeline, and a number of other not-so-fun additional problems. But Air 4 U did all the tasks and didn't ask for a penny extra to complete them. <br /> Steve took the time to talk to me about different things we could do if we wanted with an air filter box he had installed and even told me how to get the best filter that didn't have to be replaced. <br /> My husband and I laughed when we realized we no longer know when the ac comes on and off because the loud clanking is gone, but I honestly don't think I have ever heard such a quiet ac outdoor unit before. We are uber impressed. If you want someone you can trust - go with Steve. <br />

<p>On the fourth of July, my air conditioner stopped putting out cold air. It was running, just not cold. I called a service company that did not charge extra for holidays from Angie's list. They sold me a part for $299.41 that supposedly fixed the problem. It went out again two days</p> later. The company returned and sold me another part for $303.00. I did learn this time the problem was the outdoor fan stopping due to the breaker box for it tripping. After giving me the recommendations of needing a new unit because it was nine years old and filthy, they sold me a quick start kit and charged me another $69.00 trip fee because it was a different part. After about 5 days, it tripped again. This time I called Air 4-U. I told Steve what was happening. He went straight to the circuit box and pulled out the circuit. When he did, one of the two plugs fell out. He popped it back in and tightened the screw holding it in that had loosened. He put the breaker box back in, flipped the switch, and the fan immediatly kicked on! It hasn't tripped since! I had to take the time to submitt this positive review. Honest contractors like this deserve it. He didn't charge me a dime! He also checked the ampage ratio to my compressor ( I think that's what it's called.) and it was fine. I think maybe he hated to see someone getting ripped off like I did. Believe me, I'm not done with the other company! I will be adding a terrible review for them when I'm through getting three more opinions as to the status of my unit. This will include price quotes as to the price of installing the two parts I didn't need! Steve tells me it should have been half of what I paid had I needed them! Call Air 4-U for honest, honorable, service! I wish I had called him first! I will not hesitate to do so in the future!

I have a maintenance contract with them and they have been servicing the air conditioning unit for about 2 years. The guys are really nice, very polite, dependable and good. When I call them, they will be here first thing in the morning. The experience with them has been excellent.
