Central A/C - Service or Repair
They were very responsive, came the same day, did a good job as far as I can tell. The AC is working again. But the repairman was here less than 30 minutes and simply cleared out the drain line. And then charged us $375

Did a great job on installing (3 years ago). Within weeks after installation the system failed. Since installation the System has not operated for more than 9 months before breaking down. Last Summer (October 2018) we paid over $1200 in labor to have the coil replaced. That may have been the second time the coil was identified as the problem. It has now broken down again and they are unresponsive. It has never held coolant for very long and the company has grown increasingly unresposive.

I contacted these folks because of their reviews on Angie’s list. All were responsive and answered all my questions. The price was fair and I was more interested in quality work with long term cost gains rather than the cheapest “price”! They were very competitive! Arrived on time. Finished in one day. Cleaned up. Very friendly and caring folks.

They had the best bid and blew everyone away. I chose a 12 SEER RUUD system that was priced better than every system out there. The system was installed by 2 excellent technicians. They were very polite and took great pride in their work.

I can think of nothing that I would change, or suggest be done differently. It went as if the installers were working on their own homes. Cliff did a great job of getting me the best deal on a great system, and Joe and Brandon showed great effort installing the system. They were both friendly and knowledgeable, and I could really see their commitment to doing the best job possible. I am just so grateful to have found Air Care Today, and chose to go with them. Fabulous from the start to the finish. Vince, Cassandra, and the crew were professional, helpful, responsible, and respectful of our needs. They put in two new Carrier air conditioners and replaced our old 22 year old HVAC systems! All done in one day and the house was left perfectly. We would recommend this company to everyone.

We determined that Air Care Today was the best company from the four estimates that we received for replacing our two air conditioners/heating systems. The cost of the two systems was very reasonable and their attentiveness to the customer experience was outstanding. Our experience started with the office staff that scheduled a home visit for a quote. We had several contacts with the staff and they were always very professional and helpful. The salesman that came to the house was very knowledgeable and listened to what we wanted and made suggestions that would enhance the systems. He explained the warranty in detail and the company’s yearly service contract. The installers were prompt and did an outstanding job. Afterwards they took the time to explain what they specifically did during the installation and to explain the Wi-Fi thermostat to us. Overall I would recommend this company without any reservations.

Everything went smoothly up until I had a ceiling leak and we found that the condensation line to the other unit was broken during the installation. It was not carelessness but a poor design by the builder of the home. Anyway, they agreed to fix it and the damage it caused, without any need for me to make a lot of noise. My only complaint was that the repair was long and drawn out taking 4 or 5 visits to complete and the repairman was good but never came on schedule.

Vince was great in explaining all our options and possible rebates. We decided on a system and he was able to match another bid. The installers arrived a little later than expected and were missing a couple of minor items, but they were able to get what they needed and finished in an acceptable time. They cleaned up everything and hauled it away. They were very courteous and professional. The system works great and passed the COA inspection.

When my house was built they put a small, cheap unit in that was too small for my two story almost 3000 ft. home. The compressor for the air conditioner had gone out a couple of years ago but another company had rigged it to keep working. In the middle of this Texas summer heat the compressor shut down for good. Air Care Today came and had to replace my entire heating and cooling system because they were a combined set. They no longer make the old freon. They were wonderful and explained everything. I couldn't have asked for a better company.

This company was very competitive on the pricing. They were prompt and thorough. The install guys were very courteous and professional. They left me with a binder of all of the info for the project including cost, manuals, permits and checklist of all the items they did to insure the quality of the install. I highly recommend them.

I had never had to hire an A/C company before for an install. I had 4 contractors here. From the minute Cliff showed up until the install was completed, this was a totally professional company. They did more than I asked for and that is rare today. And the work was very well priced & expertly done. I would definitely recommend this company.

"While inspecting the H.V.A.C. system at Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s rental property, it was found that the low voltage wiring side of the system had some issues. Once repairs were made the system operated and began to cool the home. Since the indoor temperature was high due to the system not functioning properly, It would take it some time for it to cool down to the desired set point. In this case, while the system was operating the thermostat also malfunctioned causing the system to fail. Once we returned we found the issue and explained what we had found. We replaced the thermostat to a popular Honeywell model. We apologize if we did not clarify our diagnoses properly, or if we caused any miscommunication. As a courtesy we would like to extend our acknowledgment of this. And as a Respected H.V.A.C. Company we are giving Mrs. [Member Name Removed] a full refund on repairs made at her rental property. In the near future we would like to encourage that if you would consider using us again, We assure you that the work performed will be 100% accurate or your money back Guaranteed."

Spectacular. <br> <br>Another provider (not these guys) had come out and diagnosed the problem (and charged quite a bit to do so) before telling me they couldn't get to the repair for many weeks. It was 89 degrees in the house and our pets were baking. <br> <br>Air Care Today immediately came to my rescue. They got there the next day after I called them, <b>and </b>they charged me substantially less than the other provider. Their installers were professional and prompt. <br> <br>If there was a higher rating available to give them than a "5", I would give it to them. I am as happy a customer as it is possible to be. <br> <br>HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! <br>

We decided to finance our new HVAC system, which was installed by Air Care Today. I don't know exactly what happened, but there was some confusion between Air Care Today and the financing company regarding the financing terms. Air Care Today quickly resolved the issue; their speedy and friendly service was very much appreciated.
