They were easy to get in touch with, answered all my questions and set up an appointment within a week. Their arrival was spot on time and when they were finished everything was neat and tidy and back the way it should be. I noticed a huge difference in my allergy symptoms after the vents were cleaned.

it went great. The team was on Time and worked quickly while not compromising for quality. All of the vents were cleaned and they were done in about 2.5 hours. Will use them again.

One of the most important things, they were on time and professional. The cleaning itself didn't seem to be anything too special. I give the B's on some of the marks because I save an A rating for something I think is better and different than other companies.

Two men arrived on time and another man (engineer) came in to inspect our ductwork in the attic, stating we had a "spider" system as opposed to a trunk line but didn't say what that meant for the cleaning. They did not describe how they would be cleaning the ductwork but I didn't ask either. I was quoted a price of $279 for 14 vents. When the crew arrived, he reviewed the pricing and told me it was another $39 EACH for our 3 returns. He also offered to put an antimicrobial treatment in the system. When I hesitated, he cut the price in half for the treatment. The removed all the registers and cleaned them out front. One of them was still dirty when it was put back. They cleaned the ductwork with some sort of device that blew air into the ductwork from each register and used a regular appearing vacuum hooked into their van to suck up what fell out. When I had ductwork cleaned in another house, each vent was sealed and the whole system was put under pressure. That house had a trunk system so maybe this was the only way they could clean our spider system? I think the ducts are better but it's hard to say.
Response from Air Duct Care
"We have different methods of cleaning Air Duct system and Duct cleaning service comes with FREE Air Leak Inspection which our Inspector did in your Attic and found nothing wrong with it and 2 other technicians proceeded with the cleaning which was proper way for your system. Return vents are not $39.00 but $35.00 and that price is listed on Angie's List. We do clean and Sanitized vent covers thoroughly and 1 vent which does not look too clean has some rust on it so we cleaned but we recommend to replace it. The price for Sanitizing was discounted because of you being Angie's List member. Thank you for choosing AirDuctCare!"

I called this company to have my dryer vent cleaned. A tech came out, used a vacuum system that was attached to his van. He cleaned the vent from the opening outside my home. It took about 15 minutes; he pronounced the work done. A few days later I was in the garage and noticed that the dryer was VERY hot. Upon checking the vent I found that the airflow out was almost none existent. I called and the same tech came out a second time. This time he disconnected the duct from the back of the dryer. He did some cleaning again with the vacuum system. He then reconnected the duct, had me run the dryer as he did additional cleaning from the outside. He told me to continue to run the dryer as he once more worked from the outside. The dryer ran very hot once again. More lint was removed, so I have to think that the job was not done adequately the first time. Then, the dryer stopped. This didn’t faze the tech at all. He’s packing up as if nothing unusual had occurred. “You just broke my dryer!” I had him call the office. After a short call I was told that they weren’t responsible. He then couldn’t pack up fast enough. I then called the office. I asked to speak to the manager/owner. I was told, “You can speak to me!” I’m quite sure I was speaking to the owner. I told him I wanted to tell him what had just happened at my home. And he said … ( are you ready for this???) “YOU COLLEGE PEOPLE ARE ALL ALIKE; YOU THINK YOU KNOW EVERYTHING!!! YOU CAN’T TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT TECH” and hung up. From my experience here I’d say I might actually know as much about dryer vent cleaning as his staff. I’m almost 70 years old; I’ve seen at lot. But this takes customer service to a brand new LOW. Bottom line… My appliance repairman, who has been fixing all my appliances, came out and said it would cost more to repair the dryer than it was worth. So, I bought a new dryer. And… had to replace the entire ductwork.

Excellent service. Very punctual and completely professional. Advised that there is no mold problem in my attic. Also advised that the UV air purifier system recommended by my normal HVAC service provider is a total waste. Noted the absence of a return line on my HVAC (a problem noted by a previous inspector). I asked him to write up an estimate for installing the return. I will probably have him do the work.

The workers arrived on time and began quickly. They then told me it did not require any leveling because it was already level, but I shared with them what was shared with my wife and I, a 2% grade away from the center with a laser level. They said it was very dry so none of that was done, they were not aware of what I was describing, though my wife and I knew what we were told and that is what we paid for, though it was the less expensive option. The workers seemed baffled. They did say they secured some vents that were disconnected and on the ground. They were only there for a half day on Friday, left at around 2PM (5 hours, not two days so I wasted a vacation day the next day set aside to have the crawlspace open for them the next day). I followed up after they left and saw some disconnected AC ducts that were indeed on the ground and I secured them myself. The plastic they did put down was done well.
Response from Air Duct Care
"Customer was given few estimates , they wanted to pay less as possible and agreed on having just ground covered with the plastic. Other option was full encapsulation with covering walls and pillars which would take 2 days. We had an extra worker working on this job site that day and as customer stated they did a good job putting plastic dawn. Duct system was very old and had a lot of issues , customer was advised that it needs to be updated and replaced. Complementary at no charge our crew fixed some of the ducts and customer was told that the rest of Ductwork has to be replaced. We had a contract with invoice with description of the job and we completed all and more."

Would hire again. Employees inspected attic/AC unit and duct work. It was determined that the problem we were having was not due to clogged up duct work, but that the actual AC unit was not working and needed a part replaced! Instead of taking the opportunity to try and get a free pay check they were honest and informed us what they thought the actual problem was. We will definitely be hiring again in the future if we need work done.
