It was fine. There was an additional charge but I'm not surprised because I had a dryer vent that is very complicated. We negotiated and told me what they will going to take to do it. I was fine with it because I know my dryer vent. For me, to call somebody and do that specifically, it would have been more money. I feel good about it.

They did a nice job.

The service turned out really well. They did a great job. They were throughout and timely. They did efficient work.

The service went fine. I did not appreciate that they tried to up-sell me at the end.

We were getting ready to sell the house at the time so we wanted the service taken care of. We had more ducts and vents then were included in the deal so we had to pay additional fees. They did a good job.

Air Duct Solutions did fine. At the end, they did go into a large sales pitch about doing some more deep-cleaned of the air ducts. It took them awhile to come out to do this, after I had purchased the Big Deal.

They were on time. I wouldn't know if it really worked. I didn't really notice any difference.

They sell to you a filter to your furnace that is metal that is supposed to be a strong benefit over the throw away kind. This is kind of controversial. You have to take it out and hose it down. I stopped using it on the advice of my air conditioning installer.

Despite the coupon, they tried to get me to pay extra for "proper" cleaning of the vents.  Then, they told me that my dryer vent hook-up was faulty and "fixed it" for an additional $100. The lead technician sat in a their truck, on his phone, for the entire time the "assistant" worked on the vents. In the end, nothing seemed different. <br /> So, I had another service inspect their work. The other service was known to several of my friends as being totally reliable and honest. They put a video camera in the vents and showed me that nothing had been cleaned. They also showed me that the dryer vent was improperly done. I had them re-do everything, and then reviewed a second video to insure that it had been done properly. <br />

They cleaned my air ducts.  I have an older home and older air ducts.  They had very powerful equipment, and it blew out five dampers.  It will cost $100 a piece to get those fixed.  They did not offer to pay for the damage they did.

They were professional, courteous, and informative. <br />

I had to remind them to clean the dryer vent <br /> a lot of tiime was spent trying to convince me to buy a fancy UV system for cleaning my HVAC, which I didn't want <br /> I just wanted them to perform and service and leave -- I didn't sign up for a sales pitch <br />

I had purchased a big deal and that was a great purchase. They were very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. I had no issues with them at the time.

I'm not really sure if I was happy or not with Air Duct Solutions. I just felt like the house was dusty. I was thinking that if they cleaned it out, it'll be a little more cleaner. I still have that problem. So, I'm not sure if I have to do it many times for maybe like a month or two. After that, it was so dusty. The pricing was pretty high. I spent a whole lot. I haven't had my air conditioning looped and they were saying that they should clean it. They priced me pretty much a whole lot just cleaning that. It was the main thing. It had to be cleaned because it was dusty. It's still dirty. I just want more information from them at least to understand what was going on and what I would be expecting.

Although the 2-man cleaning crew arrived on time, I soon became skeptical of their professionalism and workmanship. Their van was well worn and didn't appear to have a company logo/sign on its side. The men also did not appear to be professional and just wore regular street clothes with no identifying badge or company logo. They attached a 10-inch vacuum hose to their large, well used HEPA vacuum cleaning machine that was rolled into my garage on its small wheels. It took one workman at least 15 minutes to attach the vacuum hose to the only ceiling duct register vent that the hose could reach, which was located inside the house near the door leading into the garage. During this process the workman had to use a knife to cut the vent register from the ceiling (the ceiling paint had become attached to the backside of the vent), causing unsightly cut marks around the duct opening. He also nicked up the adjacent painted wall trying to get the hose in place. No apology was made for this damage. It now looks like I will have to spend my time to repair and paint these noticeable nicks and cut marks. The lead workman did very little during the vacuuming process except try many times to talk me into purchasing a $100 plus "no throw away", long-lasting filter for my ceiling air intake vent. He also tried to get me to purchase a special $60 anti-bacterial chemical which they would vacuum into the duct system when the cleaning was finished, Evidently, this low priced cleaning job also served as an opportunity to try and sell me expensive, related products. Before the men left I was handed an invoice/receipt indicating that I had previously paid the $149 Big Deal discounted price for the duct cleaning. It was at that time that I noticed that the company's name on the receipt was not the same as the company indicated on Angie's List Big Deal coupon (Fresh Air Duct Services, 442 Grove St., San Francisco). The printed receipt also had several misspelled words, which should not have been the case for a supposedly professional company. Perhaps Fresh Air Duct Services contracted this work for me to be done by some other company? Anyway, when you consider the unprofessional and poor workmanship that was done to provide air duct cleaning for me, and the damage that was done to my home during the process, I certainly don't think the $149 cost was worth it! I don't even feel that my duct system was properly cleaned in the first place. Consequently, I would not recommend Fresh Air Duct Solutions, or whatever company came to my home, to clean someone's air duct system. Buyer beware! In this case the workmanship and quality you get is only going to be worth the discounted price you pay for. Very poor! <br />

They were very customer friendly and professional.  They went out of their way to get the vents cleaned, even when the dryer vent was extremely dirty. <br />

The technicians were very polite. The scheduling was a huge hassle and the service was standard. <br />
