Aire Serv of Huntsville

Airserve was the most competitive in price to install dual units. They provided a 3 years free service with the purchase. I think they have been here maybe.8 times. Always gives advanced notice, timely, friendly, knowledgeable, professional. Extremely happy with AirServe.

Update 1: Aireserve reached out to us about ordering parts and getting work done under warranty. Will update when work is complete. We've worked with Aire Serve of Huntsville off and on for almost 10 years. We've had their maintenance plan for several years on a unit we purchased with them. Overall we haven't had any issues. They would come check the unit and make sure things were running well. We recently had them come out for a visit and suddenly the evaporator coil is completely covered in dust and debris and needs cleaned, has a leak, and they recommend replacing the unit. I asked if this build up happened in six months or so since they last checked it, and the technician said "no it would take years." So no other technicians saw what was happening when they came every six months or so? I thought it had been past the warranty time period and requested estimates for repairs and replacement. They were ready to schedule that day if we decided what to do. After digging n paperwork, we found that our 10 year parts and labor warranty (through them) was still good for a few more months. We let them know and now we can't get ahold of anyone. We've called multiple times and they just tell us someone will call us back. Its been two weeks now and the unit is not running well at all as we jump from 20s to 80 degree weather and we have received NO response from them. No calls. No emails. No texts. Nothing. I'll update if I get a response from them and how that goes, but for now... plan on good service and everything looking fine with your unit until you have to use your warranty.

I would have liked to see a more thorough job from the dryer drum vent through to the outside. The job was done, and I’m satisfied, but the cleaning I had done in 2021 was entirely more thorough.

AVOID this company! They are overpriced and unethical. * * * *During the hottest day of the month, my heat pump failed. I contacted Aire Serv of Huntsville, because I was pleased with the maintenance technicians who had worked at my small townhouse in the past. * * * *Using arguments that favored replacement rather than repair, Aire Serv personnel promoted potential $8,000.00 rebates that I could receive if I purchased a system meeting the requirements of the Inflation Reduction Act, passed by Congress a month before. After opting for the installation of a new system, I learned that the rebates touted by Aire Serv applied only to systems installed after January 1, 2023. So, I'm not sure why Aire Serv personnel brought up the rebates, given that they didn't apply to my purchase. Closing the deal quickly is what I suspect was Aire Serv's goal, taking advantage of my situation. * * * *Now, I'm stuck with what amounts to a monthly luxury car payment for two years, without the benefit of the substantial rebates promoted by Aire Serv. Had I known that the cost of the ridiculously high-priced heat pump system would not be offset by any new rebates or tax credits, I certainly would have thought twice about the purchase. Aire Serv never accepted any responsibility for their misinformation and unethical sales tactics, and refused my request for a 10%, fair and reasonable, refund. A lesson learned the hard way about Aire Serv of Huntsville.* * * * *UPDATE: It's reassuring to learn that the local branch manager (Charlotte) and sales manager (Robert) are gone, both of whom contributed to my previous, negative experience. They certainly were not customer-oriented, and I believe their departures led to my very pleasant interaction with the company's technician (Dylan) during the past several days. He honored my extended warranty without question, and he professionally handled the ordering, retrieving, and installation of a necessary replacement part.

Frank of Aire Serv was very professional, courteous, and punctual. His vehicle was super clean. He was intent on providing only the work we really needed. I definitely will have him return for future work.

My technician was Bill Martinson and he was outstanding. My Air Conditioner died over Labor Day weekend and he came right out to fix it. He learned it was a cracked coil and had to order the part. He was able to get the unit to work just enough to cool off the house for a bit. Which I truly appreciated. He did a great job but then he did something extra -- he helped me get the Builder's Warranty Company to help pay for the repairs. The young lady in the office, Kara Conn and Bill went way above and beyond their jobs to help me. And I appreciate their help and their kindness. I have recommended this to company to everyone at work -- they are fantastic.

The technician was on time and very professional. I just purchased a home and did not know anything about the unit except it looked old. Dustin was able to validate the age of the unit and determined it was actually running pretty efficiently but needed maintenance. I appreciate the honesty and will use this company again.

Fine. I've been using AireServ for years. I used to have a favorite technician, but due to staffing, I've learned that each one I've dealt with is knowledgeable and professional.

They provided basic maintenance and cleaning. They didn't notice a buzz due to a mismatched capacitor that I had another company come out six months later and fix.

The technician was very nice and I don’t feel like he was rushing through the job. He was knowledgeable and easily answered all my questions.
