I have used this service for several years and have always been satisfied. Service is prompt, honest, professional, and affordable.

The service call went great! David is very detail oriented and knowledgeable about the HVAC system. He explained in detail exactly what was checked and why. Any repairs that needed to be done, were communicated in a way that was easy to understand. David's service cost is very affordable in comparison to a lot of the big name companies. I've recommended David to neighbors and co-workers.

Perfectly. David has been taking care of us for a couple years now that we ran across him. <br /> <br />First call was after hours needing a freon charge. David was there, helped us out and price was better that others who had done previous freon re-charge. <br /> <br />I trust him for all of our HVAC work. Honest, reliable and friendly.

I have used David at Air Heat Raleigh exclusively for the last 5 years. Our house is a two story built in 2002. In May, I noticed water coming out of a small PVC drain pipe from above the back porch roof. I climbed into the attic and found the back-up drain pan filled, which is where the water was coming from. It was around 3:00 in the afternoon, and I called David, who showed up around 5:30. <br /> <br /> David took a look at it ans said the "coil" had gone bad. He agreed to try to locate a new one. He called me the next morning at 9:30 and left a voice-mail that he had located a coil from one of the better manufacturers. I didn't listen to the message until around 11:00, at which point he was already on another service call. I called him back and approved the purchase of the coil. After he finished his current service call, he went back and bought the coil and came by later that day around 4:00. <br /> <br /> He worked for roughly four hours and replaced the coil, flushed out both the primary and back-up drain pipes and refilled the freon in the outside unit that serviced the upstairs. He also tested the level of freon in the unit that services the downstairs. We cranked up AC and the air coming out of the upstairs vent was cold almost immediately, with no leaks. <br /> <br /> David then told me that since the outside temperature was in the low 60's that evening, he wanted me to wait until he had a "hot" spell and to make sure that the outside unit did not run continuously, because if it was functioning properly, the unit should blow cold and then shut off in a regular pattern. He wanted to make sure that the freon still had the proper level. <br /> <br /> Once the weather had heated up,a few weeks later, I called him and said that everything seemed to be working fine. We said that he would be in the area later on that day and asked if it would be okay for him to drop in and check the freon himself. There would be no charge for this extra visit. He came by a couple of hours later and verified everything in both outside units again. <br /> <br /> From the many times I've used him, David never tries to "upsell" anything. If something can be repaired, then he repairs it. If something needs to be replaced, then he searches and finds a quality product at an affordable price. He is the owner Air Heat Raleigh, and I believe that he is the only technician. I usually give him and extra $20, simply because I know I'm getting quality workmanship and parts for very affordable rates. He always let's me know in advance what it will cost, and even if the job takes longer than he had originally estimated, he never changes the price on me. <br /> <br /> I, myself, am a private contractor in a separate field and I keep one of David's magnetic cards on my refrigerator, another card in my wallet, and several cards in my glove box in case my work travels lead me to anyone who needs and HVAC work. I cannot recommend David highly enough. <br />

Great, David tested the unit, found the problem, secured the parts, and installed them. Unit has been working good every since.

They had installed the HVAC unit a few years ago, so I have them come out twice a year to check on it for heating and cooling. They spot issues that could be a problem and fix it during the same visit with my permission. I like that it saves me money on a return repair call. I trust their technicians to work on the system.
