It went well. AJ is a good communicator, was prompt, and probably spent at least 50% more time than he was paid for. I'd use him again! <br />

Took me a while to get my act together to get a few more things completed in sprucing up my home (saving enough jobs to keep <br /> AJ busy for almost 8 hours) <br /> He did each task requested and things went smoothly <br /> will be hiring again to do some finish work on damage to the garage door surround <br />

Everything went well.

This meant calling the insurance company. AJ stepped up and got 'er done. <br /> He was a gentleman. I would recommend him in an instant. <br />

it went amazing, from the first call, estimate and scheduling.  He arrived early and worked till job was finished.  When he ran into any issues even minor ones he explained all of the details, showed me the damage that was behind the paneling etc.  I would recomend this company and I will use him for all of my repairs in the future.  <br />

He went above and beyond taking care of us and making sure we were satisfied. Overall we were very happy with the work.

H e did is a great job  hanging shelves and making small repairs around the house. Al is a great guy and very trustworthy. <br />

On August 20, A.J. came over to my house to do a host of things that needed to be done that were beyong my home skills.  A.J. had scheduled 8am for us and came over at around 7:40. He immediately got to work putting in our bathroom ligh/fan in the master bathroom. He then slowly worked his way around to the kitchen area replacing all the towel racks in the bathrooms, which were improperly installed.   <br />   Next he installed a water line to our new refridgerator, he did stop for about 30 mintues to run to the local hardware store to pick up some items needed for the installation.  When he got back he explained clearly what he did and why he needed to get parts.  After that he worked his way to the downstairs laundryroom/bathroom to fix towel racks there and then worked his way outside to figure out the outdoor lighting system above my garage.  When that was done, I had but a 1/2 hour left of his time so I had him hang some pictures in the living room.  Out of my "to-do"list for him he got about half done, and that was really good since I thought I bathroom fan and water line woudl take all day! <br />   At the end of the work day, A.J. and I talked about my back deck and the repairs that were needed to be done before the wet winter would come.  I was so impressed with his work that day I went ahead and scheduled another time for him to come back and refurbish my deck.   A.J. clearly demostrated professionalism and courtesy, in everything.  I am happy I found him when I did.

AJ was very responsive, punctual and polite; he did good work on most of the smaller jobs, as well as building the shed ramp, which looks great. However, I was unhappy with some items; initially the towel rack wasn't level and I had to have him adjust it.  He came back two more times at my request because not all house keys worked in the rekeyed lock.  The new exterior door is the worst problem; the threshold doesn't sit flush on the cement like the original, the caulking job is messy and bare wood is visible which wasn't primed or painted, and about 1/2 inch of bare wood is visible above the lock plate where it was chiseled out when AJ attempted to install it the first time at the wrong height.  All nails and screws in the door are plainly visible, although countersunk--I spackled over them myself.  When I expressed my concern about the threshold, AJ inserted clear caulking underneath which did improve the looks somewhat.  All in all, somethings he did were fine, others were definitely subpar quality. <br />

AJ was great. He came on very short notice and stayed until the job was done. He is a hard worker and a very pleasant man. I will definitely hire him again.

From start to finish, this was a great experience. I would hire AJ again in a second. I don't think there much he can't won't do! He was very professional about scheduling and showed up on time. very personable and friendly. I just gave him my list of "honey-dos" and he went to town. I had purchased the major parts needed but he went out and picked up miscellaneous plumbing parts that were needed. He made several suggestions about repairs that could be made now to alleviate possible trouble later and did that work, too! AJ was wonderful. I'd recommend him to all my friends! So make your list, give him a call and get a reliable, friendly, professional in to do those repairs!

It all went very well except for the nails and screws left behind on the floor of the carport.  I had a bad experience with a different contractor a couple years back.  The crew of that contractor did a poor job of cleaning up all the nails left behind on and near my driveway.  As a result of this I ended up with a flat tire on my vehicle and it couldn't be repaired.  I had to buy a new tire.  Since then I have been very careful to check for any nails and screws that were left behind by any contractor's work.  Other than that I was very pleased with the work done by A.J.Enterprises.  He was very friendly and seemed only too happy to do the work that I asked to have done.  He showed up on time and stayed all day working on the carport and came back another day and finished the job.  I was pleased with the results.

This was awesome! He replaced 7 or 8 light fixtures, installed shower heads, and various other projects. I had a list of about 15 items and he did them all with an hour to spare. It was a good value for the time. He is my new handyman!

<p>A.J. is absolutely amazing - pleasant, prompt, professional, highly-skilled, and efficient. I contacted A.J. to get an estimate for building a small set of stairs from my second-story deck to the ground: he promptly came out to see the proposed work and had an estimate for me within the week. I scheduled the work for later in the month and, when the appointed day arrived, so did A.J. - bright an early that morning.</p> <p>A.J. got right to work when he arrived and had the stairs constructed ahead of schedule. I actually didn't even bother him until the project was well underway and found A.J. happily working away. The construction quality was top-notch and the attention he paid to the details was quite noticeable - the stairs were a perfect, solidly-constructed match to our deck, as though two puzzle pieces were fit together. It was a pleasant surprise to discover that A.J. is a fan of big dogs and that he was very happy to meet our pups, too. :-)</p> <p>When A.J. finished with the deck, he was kind enough to take a look at a section of downed fencing that needed repair and gave me an estimate, which I happily agreed to - he was even able to return the next afternoon to complete the fence work within an hour (quite expertly and swiftly done). I was just thrilled that we was able to return the next day to attend to the fence.</p> <p>I can't recommend A.J. enough - it was a pleasure to have him construct our deck stairs and fence section and to meet him. We will definitely be utilizing his services in the future.</p>

AJ arrived on time, was polite, professional and very thorough. <br /> He always made sure I knew what any next steps were, and when he'd be returning.

I am renovating a basement. AJ removed a window and replaced it with a French Door, and also tore out the ceiling. Nice guy and a hard worker, but the door appears crooked, and I am hiring another contractor to remove and reinstall the door. AJ offered to fix it but I declined. I am canceling my Angie's List membership because of several negative experiences with service providers I found through Angie's List, so I won't be able to update this review based upon what the next contractor says about the door. <br /> <br /> update: I had another contractor look at the door and he said it was done well, and the issue was that I had chosen to put a French door in an old crooked house. So I am changing my review - if you want a good service from a reasonable service provider, hire AJ. I would hire him again!

AJ was the best.  He was fantastic.  Did the work far beyond expectations and was very professional.  His actual work was also flawless.  We will ask him back again. <br /> His rates were also very reasonable.
