When we first called Carl for a garage shelving estimate, he said he was in the area and would be by within an hour. We talked with him about what we'd like to have built and where we'd like it. He completely understood our needs, asked some intelligent questions, gave some valuable advice, and gave a good estimate for labor costs. He'd buy and bring the material to do the job and provide us with the receipt so we could reimburse him. We set a date for the next week. He arrived on time along with his adult son and all the materials he had bought for us plus all of his work gear. They set to work unloading our garage shelves (most of which were already containerized and boxed) into the middle of the garage floor. They worked very hard and very smart. The shelving was done perfectly on all three sides of the garage exactly like we had requested. They loaded our new shelves back up exactly where we wanted things and left some for us to do on our own at our request. They were very courteous, kind, efficient, and did an outstanding job. We've already asked Carl to come back and do some work for the interior of our home.  <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>  

After downsizing we were in need of a space for our books, dvds, and photo albums.  Carl came up with the solution for our sitting room.  His solution also saved us space by mounting the television on the newly built unit. <br /> Carl was punctual, pleasant and worked barely stopping for lunch.  I asked him to make some alterations to his design while he was building the unit and he had no problem with it.  I would highly recommend him.  We are thrilled with the finished result! <br /> <br /> <br />

This is about the 4th time we've used Carl to work in our home. He can do anything. He built an outside deck, removed all the wood from our kitchen & rebuilt electrical fixtures including installing ceiling lights. He picked up all the necessary materials was prompt, courteous, honest , professional & a pleasure to work with. Everything he did was excellent. We will always use Carl when we need work a in our home. <br />

He came on time and fixed all the problems that had accumulated in my home during the past 6 months. <br /> He just went from one problem to another as I told him about them and fixed them quickly and well. <br />

Overall installation went really well. Karl constantly shows ingenuity on any project he works on. He seems to be able to look at a picture and easily re-create it. For example: I handed him 2 newel posts a 8 foot piece of base molding, an 8 foot 5" wide piece of MDF, some bead board, a side panel and a base kitchen cabinet... and he built a beautiful kitchen island. Bottom line- you give him the materials and the idea and he will bring it to life. On top of everything else, Karl is sincere, honest and shows up as promised. He is definitely the exception among your usual lot of South Florida contractors. <br />

Carl arrived on time with all the materials he needed to complete the job and went right to work. He is very professional, highly competent, trustworthy and friendly. He worked all day and when finished - the result was pretty much flawless. He exceeded our expectations - and we tend to be critical because of past experience with others. We will definitely be calling him again in the future. <br />

Working with Carl was excellent.  He came on time, cost was right, cleaned up perfectly and it candidly could not have went smoother.  My front door was worn from the sun and Carl came out to do the refinish work.  Results are beautiful.  Door looks brand new and the stain matches perfect.  I liked working with Carl so much I hired him again after this to work on an apartment I own in Downtown West Palm Beach. <br />

Carl was great! I sent him a photos of the closet and of the doors I wanted installed. He gave us the estimate for his work and told us how to order the doors. Although Carl did offer to pick up the doors himself, we were able to fit them in our station wagon, so we bought them at Lowe's, ourselves. Carl arrived on time and completed the work as promised. He installed track for top and bottom of sliding doors and had to adjust tile and molding to do so. He patched a spot on our wall, too. The doors look great, and just as the other reviewers mentioned, Carl really is a super nice guy! This was a small job, but even so, Carl treated us like it was very important to him. I appreciated his attitude, as well as his skill set! His work was excellent, and soon we hope to use him to remodel our kitchen! Thanks, Carl! <br />

Initially different roofing folks visited and gave me price quotes which was too expensive. Realized it was mere wood work and called Carl. Sent the picture details and he was immediate to respond. I was convinced and did not think further and gave a date and time to take up the job. The work was done today. He was very courteous and answered all my questions. The job was done in 4 hours. Plus he painted and caulked on all the newly worked area. I would highly recommend him. <br />

Carl was very personal and was very good and installing our dimmer switches. We have called him several times since, He is always accommodating and professional. Nothing we have asked him to do has been difficult for him.We highly recommend him to our friends and family. <br />

Carl arrived right on time to give us an estimate.  We discussed the scope of the work, and we agreed on the price.  He arrived on time to do the work.  Work done to our specifications.  Work done in a timely manner and completed in one day.  We discussed other projects with him.  He is exceedingly honest, neat and creative.  What more could we want?  Highly recommended! <br />

The job went off without a hitch. He got it all done despite having to deal with some afternoon rain showers. My wife can spot something that is not level from across the room was thrilled with all the work. We are both very happy with the results and love our new laundry room. <br />

Carl arrived on time, in fact he was a little early.  He even picked up the baseboards at the store for me since I couldn't fit them in my SUV.  He immediately set to work and flew through the jobs that I thought would take all day.  His work is precise.  The baseboards were cut to perfection.  He was very personable and answered all my questions.  He had all the proper tools to complete the job which is a huge plus!  I had the glass repaired on my front door previously and the trim needed to be painted.  He ended up painting the whole door for me.  I can't say enough positive about Carl.  He answers every call that he receives.  I plan to have him back to do some whole house painting and moulding installation.  I was lucky to get him so quickly as he is super busy. <br />

We hired Carl/AJP Construction to help with our kitchen remodel. After starting the demo myself, I realized it was going to be a lot more work than expected - which is when we found Carl here on AL. He came out the same day and was very helpful in explaining what we needed, as well as thinking of the best and most cost effective way to get it done. From that point forward I felt like he was on our team, legitimately trying to help us - and not just seeing the project as dollar signs for his pocket. <br /> <br />I could go on about the good work he did (moved electrical outlets, removed tile backsplash, replaced drywall, extended wall, plumbing/re-routed pipes, installed molding, etc.). Although I appreciate the quality work, what impressed me the most about Carl is that he's such a genuinely good person. He managed everything that was thrown his way, remaining calm, reassuring us that he would take care of it, and that everything was ok. He was right. He took care of it. Everything was ok. <br /> <br />Carl went above and beyond, surpassing all expectations. We absolutely could not have asked for somebody better to not only do the work, but help guide us along the way. Carl is the reason that our kitchen remodel was a success! <br /> <br />

He arrived early in the morning as agreed upon  and I explained what had to b done. He went to pick up the supplies for the job and worked on the job. He cleaned up the mess that was left from the repair. He really knew his trade and did an excellent job. My enclosure is very solid and looks nice. He is really a good carpenter. <br />
