AK Landscaping Services

No work has been done as yet. The work to be done was ground leveling and grass seed put down, both in the front yard (between and around two maple trees, and also on some ground beyond that area) and also the back yard (between and around two maple trees.) The original start date was 9/5/23. Nobody showed up. I texted AKL and they said they got held up for a day and that they would have to reschedule for Thursday 9/7/23. Wednesday evening I did get a text saying that AKL would have to delay coming on Thursday (9/7) and would have to reschedule for Tuesday (9/12). Their reasoning was that they anticipated consistant rain for the next few days and did not want the grass seed to be flooded away. The following Tuesday (9/12) they never showed up. I texted them around 11:30 am, telling them I wasn't sure what time they were coming, but that I had to pick my wife up at church and that I would be back home no later than 12:30 pm. I never received a text for the remainder of the day, nor did they show up to do the work. I could not contact them on Wednesday (9/13) because I was busy and had to take my wife to physical therapy. I called them twice on Thursday (9/14) and left messages on their answering machine. No response. I emailed them on Friday (9/15) expressing that they have not communicated with me very well and that I would like the project done by the end of next week (by Friday or Sat - 9/22 or 9/23). I explained to them that I needed to have it done by the following end of the week, because I had my regular lawn service people coming out to do stuff to my lawn in October; and that I wanted to leave at least a two week time period to pass between the time AKL was finished doing the project and when my regular lawn service would be treating my lawn. I also mentioned that I did not realize AKL would be coming from Birdsboro, PA (50 min drive to Blue Bell) and that if that was part of the reason why they haven't come out to do the work, that they could just refund my money and that I would find someone closer to my area to do the work. I still did not recieve any response from AKL.

He asked for half of money upfront which was 6250.00 to do our yard and front steps. Then he was discussing with my husband about our front terrace and decided to do the wall which I paid 2500 for. He barely finished with the yard when he asked for the remainder because he had issues going on and I gave him 4000 but he only came back for three days and didn't see him since. Waited two weeks and when I text him, he said that he was going to contact me but didn't get the chance but never gave me a time frame to come back. Waited another week then asked when he was coming back since I provided that additional money. He asked for remainder which is 2250.00 but because he needed to buy supplies yet for the front. Here he told me that he used the money for medical bills and wife's car to get fixed. I said that there should have been plenty of money to buy the supplies for the back with what I gave upfront. I also mentioned that we need the yard done since we wanted to have a going away party for my brother-in-law before he went back to Tucson. He said that he would be there on Monday, August 21st but never came, contacted him again and he said Friday, August 25th and never came. Haven't heard from him since and had to cancel picnic. Would never have giving him the 4000 if I knew that he never brought all our supplies yet.

The provider was hired to put in a patio in my back yard. He was paid $3000 for a deposit. He was supposed to start project on 7/17/23. There was a family issue and he needed to push back a week. He has not responded in several weeks

Amazing service!!!! With the busy schedule I have everyday, mowing the yard had become a task I just don’t have time to complete anymore. AK landscaping was prompt, professional and my yard looks beautiful!! Adam exceeded all of my expectations and I will continue to use him on a weekly basis. Highly recommend!! Thank you so much.
