Not trying to minimize any other appreciated review, but when I read the extent of detail, empathy, respect and appreciation that your review reveals. Thank You So Much! We enjoy doing this and many other types of services ranging from painting to remodeling, concrete, decks and even others for that matter, sure we do it as source of income, but reviews and appreciation a customer writes about as you all have done is one of the strongest motivating factors that lead us to continue to improve, invest in our business and continue to serve the public. Even though is not our responsibility to call or schedule an estimate for any other companies that perform similar services, I'd like to say that I'm sorry that you had that experience with Any Angie's List Serving Members. Keep in mind that we don't believe that would likely be considered the Norm when dealing with Angie's List because we know that Angie and her Team Cares not only for how We Treat You, but how we treat anyone. She wants for your experience to one that is Positive and Stress -free! In fact, Angie's List will make it harder for the companies that failed to show up to repeat that type of behavior because the Grades they'll receive if you report to Angie's List by writing a Review on those companies will drop their grades to the point that many customers will not call upon them and it's also likely that Angie's List wouldn't recommend them either. With that being said, I'm going to be optimistic here, It is our hope that you'll continue to count on both Angie's List and A&K Power Washing in the future. "Would like to thank this family for counting on A&K for many of their home improvements. In order to assist others that take the time to view these reviews before utilizing a certain company for their own tasks I'd like to add to the work list that was performed. A&K Power washed the entire house, the driveway, sidewalk, a front porch with outdoor carpet being cleaned. We hand picked helicopters out of the gutters in order to clean them out of gutter guards. We cleaned two rear decks, one of which was screened in. We removed all furniture from the screened in room, we removed two fans from the screen in and replaced with two new ones. We cut and installed an additional header piece of wood to keep the screen door from swing past it's normal stopping point. We have recently returned to this customer and rebuilt their deck with new support joist, decking, vinyl handrail & a corner wrap stairs."

There are many Tips & Advice that we like to share as we did with you in order to better prepare you for the reality of remodeling projects. We believe that they contributed to creating a mental picture of the projects. Speaking of projects, sometimes when things are done with a remodeling projects it is hard for some people to list all of the details within a review in which they may feel a need to keep it short. Another nice feature of Angie's List is that they are very generous with their character allowance. For anyone that writes reviews, I would encourage you to be as thorough as possible. Being thorough allows others to see the range of work in which one may do. It also allows for a better perspective as to the amount of work that was done for the money, (creating value). We are not disputing the work that was done in this project, however, there were 3 bedrooms involved, a living rm., a kitchen & a bathroom in addition to what was mentioned. I'm not sure if you receive this response or not or if it is just available for others to view, but if you do see this please do not think that we are not appreciative of your review because we are. We understand that some people just like to write in a general sense.
