AK Shower Pros. LLC

We decided to hire AK shower pros to install a brand-new tub and shower surround. AK shower pros hired out-of-town contractor from the Cleveland area to do the work. On the day of the installation, they came over and the first thing they did was tear out the old shower and tub down to the studs. No one even checked the new tub to make sure it was in good condition. When they took it out of the box part of the front of the tub was busted off so that could not be installed. Tony the sales rep told me he could order another tub, but it would take one to three days for a new tub to arrive. it was Thursday approaching the weekend, so the contractor suggested we go to Lowe's or Home Depot to see if there was 1 there. We have one bathroom, so we needed to get the job done. they brought the new tub back and installed it. they stayed Until midnight trying to get the job done. they put all their sharp tools, drills and saws and all kinds of equipment and our brand-new tub, nothing protecting the sides at all. I was very unhappy with them and took pictures. The next day when I filled the tub with water there in the corner of the tub was like a bubble that cracked open and there was a hole. I sent pictures right away and called Tony the sales representative he came over later that evening and caulked the hole. He wanted us to get a hold of the bathtub warranty people and pretty much handle this ourselves. We hired his company to give us a new tub and shower surround. I Told him the bathtub didn't feel right because the floor of the bathtub has soft spots and when you step into the tub it doesn't feel supported, it feels like it's going to break through. It is very spongy. Now I have a tub with a hole in it and the floor of the tub with soft areas that we are afraid to step on. we stopped payment on the balance due and we called Tony and ask him over the phone what the process was going to be about fixing the problems with the tub he said we were in breach a contract because he already installed the tub even though it was not done correctly.

They were very professional all work was done in a timely manner. Area was kept clean while working and they were very careful not to track things in and out of the house which is a big deal to me because I am a clean freak with OCD. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and if I have future work that needs done, they will be my first and last phone call.
