Matt with Alachua Blind Co seemed very professional when he visited my home and helped work out the problems with my home in order to allow the installation of wooden plantation shutters in my Living, Dining and front facing Bedroom. He asked for 50% down, balance upon delivery. That was beginning Aug. He said it would take about 2 months for the custom order & he charged my VISA card on Aug 29th. At end of Oct I sent him 2 texts and finally called him asking for update. When I reached him, he said he was leaving town next day for a 10 day cruise and would check into the order upon his return. No word from him. The week before Thanksgiving, I again, sent 2 text and ended up calling him. He said he had a death in the family, but he would install the shutters the week after Thanksgiving. Second week of Dec - still no shutters. Never responded to my texts and voice mails. My last one stated that if I did not hear back from him, I consider the order cancelled and would ask VISA for a refund. Which is what I have done and lucky for me VISA is accepting the refund since he told me he would install last week in Nov. Otherwise, the 180 day time frame to ask for a refund was expired. He is either a scammer who knew about the 180 day limit or he is a flake and spent the money on his cruise. DO NOT USE THIS MAN! 6 months of aggravation and nothing to show for it.

Matt was great. He was patient and walked me through all the possible options. I appreciated how conscious he was about our budget, how knowledgeable he was about the products, and the attention to detail when installing. The new blinds were a huge aesthetic upgrade to the several buildings that we had done. Everyone still keeps commenting on them.

Everything was perfect and ideal. All interactions were professional and courteous. Product and installation were quality. Overall we are very pleased and would recommend Alachua Blind Company.

Matt s a true professional.  His years of experience installing blinds have rewarded him with the know-how necessary to make his blind business a true success.  He is most interested in assuring that the customer is happy with the finished product.  He has a broad selection of blinds to choose from and installs them himself, with no charge for installation.  We were able to save over $1000.00 compared to a previous estimate by another company and, at the same time, got just the type of blinds we were originally looking for.  Alachua Blind Co. is a first-rate business that I would recommend to anyone.

He was very polite and respectful. They did the work in a very timely manner, and kept me very informed. When my blinds came in, they informed me and we set up an appointment for the installation. They didn't leave a mess and cleaned up after themselves at work completion. Also, they followed up with me on a regular basis to confirm my satisfaction with the blinds.

I definitely recommend Alachua Blind Company and the owner, Matt Kramer.  He has a large selection of high quality window treatments and works with the customer to get exactly what they want.  His installation of the window coverings was faultless, efficient and extremely professional.  His prices are very reasonable and his main concern is making sure the customer is happy. <br />
