Amazingly unprofessional. Sent 3 different plumbers in one week to unstop a residential toilet. Plumbing malpractice at its WORST.

The toilet is not straight (not perpendicular to wall) and it is not level. Also he grouted it in place! This protects them, but isn't good for this customer. It saves them being called back for some dumb thing a homeowner has done after they left. In the unlikely event the toilet needs to be moved, I will have a problem, unnecessarily created by a contractor. I believe the price was too high for the poor work, and I'm sure I paid for his time involved with the grout that I did not want.

I adore the service provided Bourgeois Plumbing. I manager eight rental properties in older buildings and they have been my go to plumbing company for probably 10 years now. The are really the best. From my own home to the rental units, they alway find and repair the problem, even when it is not obvious. They are courteous, professional, reliable and affordable. I cannot recommend them enough.

It has been somebody that we've been using in our family for over 30 years, maybe more than that. I had put on a new granite and they had to take the old sink and the fixture out so I could put that on and then they had to come back and reinstall. They've put in our hot water heaters over the years, not only at the residence I live at, but we have some rental properties and in my mother's house too. They've been with the family for over 30 years. They do everything I ask them to do, they really do. Their responsiveness is always very good. I think they have what we call steady customers, like us, you just get better response when you stick with them. They're very professional, they really know what they're doing. I've never had a call back in my life, come back and do something over, I never have.

Water was leaking into my garage from under my water heater. I call them when they opened Monday morning knowing they may be closed as it was Memorial day. They were open and booked for the day however the person who took my call was very nice and reassured me they would send someone out to look at the problem and then get the water heater replaed within a few days. Someone came by noon - called first and was prompt. The person was very polite and professional. He checked my water heater and said that it was fine and the water was actually draining from the AC overflow. He spent time showing me where the water was coming from. He was able to unclog the line and the water stopped. I was charged nothing for the time he spent. I will definately use this company again and will recommend them to my friends and family. The technician really made my day - nice courteous and honest service - goes a long way!

I contacted this company about their hourly rate for plumbing services and I was quoted a fee of $109.00 per hour.  This fee was in line with other plumbers on Angie's list and I chose this company based on the feedback.  I am on a budget and I really try to stick to it.  I scheduled service and was given a window of 10-2:00.  At no point was I ever advised that I would be charged for the plumber's travel time to my house and I certainly was not told that I would be charged for the time it would take the plumber to write out the invoice.  At 1:52 pm on the date of my scheduled service, I received a call that the plumber was on his way.   The plumber, Christopher, appeared at 2:15 pm and we reviewed the needed service.  He did not present me with a card. Christopher completed the service around 3:30 and the work looked great.  He cleaned up his mess and then advised me that he was going to his van to write out the invoice and would be back.  I waited for Christopher to return with my invoice.  And I waited.  And waited.    He reappeared around 4:00 with my invoice for 2.00 hours of work and materials. I questioned why I was being billed for 2.00 hours of his time.  I was then informed of the mandatory charge of a .25 hour of time for "travel".   I was also advised that I was being billed for the 20+ minutes it took him to write out a quarter page of information on an invoice.  I questioned Christopher about this practice and he said that "they make him do this".  I called this company about this practice and the woman I spoke with, I think her name was Patsy or Cathy, confirmed that Al Bourgeois does indeed bill for the time it takes the plumber to write out the invoice.  She agreed to knock .25 hour off of the bill "rather than argue with me" about the travel time and invoice preparation fee.  I have never had someone that purports to be a professional bill me for an invoice and I think it is a very poor practice to engage in.  I will never use this company again.

<p>Bought a 60 year old house with mostly original galvanized pipes plumbing, all severely corroded.  I called Bourgeois based on good ratings, and based on them being around as a family business a long time.  They returned calls promptly.  They were backlogged, so it took awhile to get someone out to give an estimate and then get on the work schedule.  </p> <p>Two plumbers worked for ~5 days replacing all the galvanized piping in the house with copper, which involved crawling under the house and breaking into walls behind shower/baths/sinks to replace lines there.  The guys were very professional, showed up on time every morning, broke for an hour lunch, and then left at 5pm everyday.  They cleaned up after themselves, and hauled away all the trash/old pipe.  I was impressed that they insulated all the exterior (crawl space) plumbing as they were installing it - without me even thinking to ask about it.  So happy that I didn't have to go behind them to insulate!</p> <p>Everyone from the office coordinator to the estimator to the plumbers, were great to work with.  Very pleased with the quality of work and attention to detail.  I've no reservations in recommending them, they deserve their top rating.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />

The employee who came out was very kind and professional. On time, maybe even a few minutes early. Very kind and helpful. I am on the high maintenance side and want perfection. The employee worked fast and efficiently. He also retouched a few areas I wanted made more perfect. He did this with a good attitude and without any hesitation, even though he was packing his car and ready to leave.  <br /> We use Al Bourgeious Plumbing's commercial unit for the company I work for. I have never been disappointed, which is how I decided to have them do my home plumbing work. I am very happy and highly recommend Al Bourgeious Plumbing for home or office work.  <br /> They are competitively priced, but considering you get what you pay for, they can't be beat.  <br /> <br />

I used Al Bourgeois Plumbing to perform a Pre-Purchase inspection of my home before buying in Sept 2015. They did a great job inspecting and informing me of the health of the house's plumping; including main drain video and small issues within the home. When I was ready for them to come back for some small repairs, they were great. They showed up within the scheduled window, with a pre-call to inform me they were heading my way and would be there within 20 mins. Brad came in and was very professional as we walked through what I needed done. He tuned up the Master Bath shower faucets that were leaking, as well as an outdoor hose bib that leaked at the handle T. He was able to simply replace some worn internals (seats, rings, or something), and noted that the hardware was fine, and that replacing the worn parts was MUCH more cost effective than new faucets and that they were healthy and would work fine for a quiet a while longer. He was professional, cleaned up the job site well, and did a great job over all. They'll be my first plumbing call from now on. <br />
