He presents himself as a smooth talker and seems like a nice guy, but I strongly advise against hiring him for any custom home tiling projects. He works at lightning speed without taking the time to think things through or communicate with your designer or you about the process. My designer and I invested a lot of time selecting beautiful specialty European tiles, but his installation was subpar. None of the tiles are level, and they are not aligned properly. He constantly blamed the tiles instead of taking responsibility. I have come to realize that the issue was not with the tiles; it was with his technique. Ive never seen anyone install tiles so quickly, which might explain why I didnt see him use a level at all. We have large tiles on the floor, and the same issues persist. The shower drains are ½ to 1 inch above the tiles, and the slope of the washer floor is incorrect. Ive completed many tiling jobs in the past, and this was by far the worst experience. I would be happy to share pictures of his work before you decide to hire him. If you are planning any custom projects, I recommend staying away from him, as he could ruin your home.

We have worked with a number of trades people renovating various parts of the house and it is always a gamble on what you will get. Pjerin was a pleasant surprise! His estimate was fair, his communication was clear and his responses prompt. The tile work that he did in our powder room looks excellent! He is clearly very skilled and takes pride in his work. We would not hesitate to recommend and hope to use him again in the future.

They did a great job. He did some extra work that wasnâ t really planned for (sub floor) to ensure the job turn out great and didnâ t ask for anything extra. Will sure use him again if we have a tile job to get done.

Work done professionally and promptly. Job is finished already. The installation is perfect! I'm not quite clear, though, why they were unsure how to remove and replace the toilet. (Its a bathroom!) The workman suggested that the toilet should have been removed prior to their arrival. Why didn't they tell me that when they had me on the phone when I booked the job? Had my handyman removed the toilet himself he could have replaced the shut off valve (which had seized) and I would have avoided the subsequent plumbing repair job caused by the tile installer cutting the valve off. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the installation.

Pjerin (his name is properly pronounced, "Peer-an") was found through an initial 'tile installer' search with Home Advisor. His reviews on their website are absolutely impeccable. He started the work of demolishing, installing, and finishing 800 sq. ft of white porcelain tile, and began his clever troubleshooting straight away; offering novel solutions to the variety of highly difficult problems that we had to deal with. He and his Team made the complicated world of tile installation so easy for Our Family. We watched as they tackled the work aggressively, but with great ease. They were so very friendly, accommodating, and fun to work with. Upon completing the job, we found it to be of the highest caliber and quality. We were so excited to have such a beautiful, new floor that they had created for Us. It was a distinct pleasure having worked with them, and we will call them back again to our Home, in the very near future. My wife and I are very very pleased with Pjerin’s (Alcan Tiles & Stone) quality work. Our project involved porcelain tile (24”x24”) installation of about 650 sq-ft covering kitchen, foyer, powder and laundry room floor where curved cutting work involved. Pjerin and his assistant did superb work from estimation to completion. Tile requirement estimation was perfect - no waste, and curved cuttings were absolutely perfect. He was flexible enough to adjust his schedule to meet my requirement. In overall, Pjerin’s work was beyond my expectation in all areas, therefor, I would recommend him for any tile work 100% plus. No other contractors or trades came close to their promptness, attention to detail, and work ethics. I can say that they have set the bars extremely high as the perfect model of what every job should be from start to finish.
