I was looking to have 11 large screens replaced in gazebo attached to my deck. Not a "typical" project. I obtained 3 quotes from: 1) an "inactive" ServiceMagic contractor; 2) the company where we purchased the gazebo; 3) Frank Alciati (an �active� contractor, suggested by your service rep). We chose Frank Alciati, who offered very competitive quote, suggested not all screens needed replacement, AND, for VERY reasonable additional price, came up with customized idea that may prevent some of critter damage that helped lead to the repair. Did 9 screens + custom work. Only downside - 9 weeks it took to get Frank out to complete the work.

They were able to come the same day. The problem with the sliding door was serious enough to havethe entire frame replaced, but Alciati's Glass was able to repair the problem well enough that replacement was not necessary; this was a huge savings in money. They stuck with the project until I was satisfied, and even though I'm sure they spent more time than they intended, they still stayed with their original quote. They were courteous and cleaned up afterward. I was very satisfied and would recommend them highly.

Prompt and courteous service. Provided a quote on site as requested which was reasonable for energy efficient windows. Only suggestion is to not assume that the most energy efficient windows are wanted. We are selling our house and, as a result of the buyers' home inspection, we need to replace the glass in the windows because the seals are compromised and there is condensation between the glass panes. However, the only obligation is to replace the damaged glass windows with new glass of the same kind- not an upgrade with more energy efficient glass.

The service was very good. I needed a crank part for my window that was not easily found in \stores and had to be ordered. Mr. Alciati ordered the part and called back once it was in to install. He also changed a few other window parts on other windows and they work better then new.
