Difficulty in the beginning because contractor wanted to only do cash. I paid with check to get started. Contractor did not write up a bid. Just gave a price through text. The fence was supposed to be with 1 rolling gate , then was told he could not get one and I had to accept 2 swinging gates. Then I caught him trying to mount 2 4ft swinging gates and had to tell him that was unacceptable. I told him this was agreed it was supposed to be 5 ft straight across. He provided the gate a couple days later but charged me 100 dollars more even though the original bid was for 5 ft. On the last day I had to leave for personal reasons , so I paid him in full and then discovered the flaws after coming home later.
