Alexs Tree service is phenomenal! Highly recommend Thomas, Alex, and team. Thomas came out and gave us an estimate to remove 12 trees (2 massive Pines) and to grind down 15 Stumps. The pricing was very fair and he is extremely professional and knowledgeable The crew crew was right on time and were extremely courteous and hard working. They completed the entire job in 1 day! The clean up was so pristine that I couldn't even tell where the Stumps were that had been grounded down. While very reasonably priced, There are cheaper options out there. I decided to go with Alexs Tree Servlice because I wanted the job completed right the first time. I'm very happy I did.

They showed up on time and did an excellent job. Brought all the equipment and personnel to do the job correctly. I was impressed they wore all the appropriate safety equipment and made sure they operated safely. They removed all the limbs and trunk of the trees they worked on. The cleanup was top notch. The crew did a great professional job. They arrived on time, minimized the lawn traffic between the truck and the tree, did the work quickly, and did a very good clean up. They are good. I will hire them again.

They were fantastic! Excellent price and the work done was beautiful. The trees look better than ever and they clean up after themselves which is appreciated. Definitely recommend them and will hire for any future needs.

Alex and his team did a FANTASTIC job! Alex was able to get to my house for an estimate the same day I called him, and was able to do the work the next day. This was a difficult job involving two large pines that were leaning more after recent storms. This was urgent work, as one of the trees was monster size and leaning right toward my house. Alex came to my house three times - once for the estimate, once to plan the work, and once to do the work. Each time, he told me when he was coming and was on time or early. He brought a team of about 7 people and was able to get a big job done in a single day. His team has been with him 8-9 years. I've never seen a group of people work more diligently and efficiently. They knew exactly what they were doing and executed flawlessly. They ground the stumps too, and left the site so clean that you would never know either they or the trees had ever been there. Many tree companies won't grind stumps or won't haul off the massive pile of grindings like Alex did. To top it off, Alex's price was very reasonable, and was HALF of another estimate I got from a tree service I've used several times before to take out the trees with the same method (climbing, no crane). Alex is one of the very best service providers I've ever used, and I'll definitely be using him again for any tree service needs. I give him my very highest recommendation.

What a fantastic crew. Our neighbors were all commenting about how hard they worked and what a good job they did. The entire crew was so pleasant and seemed to really enjoy the hard work. We were truly amazed that they were able to remove the large trees from the back yard without using any large equipment. Everything was cut into small pieces and moved to the trucks in the front by hand. Great care was taken to preserve plantings even to the extent of digging up and replanting a couple of small trees that were under the arch of a huge oak tree that had fallen. If you want trees removed without heavy equipment in your yard and to have the job done quickly, Alex’s Tree Service is the way to go.

Alex's Tree Service did great. He came out after the storm, gave me a fair price that was not inflated post-storm, removed a tree off my porch roof immediately, and then came back after it had dried out to remove the rest of the trees. He consulted me many times during the job about what I wanted, and communicated with me the whole time about when he would be coming. I so appreciate an honest and upstanding guy after a storm - thank you Alex!

Wow! I called on a Monday, they came out to the house on Tuesday for an estimate, and on Wednesday Alex and his crew removed two very tall oak trees from my back yard. One had been damaged in a storm and the other was leaning toward the house, so I was thrilled to have them gone so quickly. They did the work while I was away for the day and everything was cleaned up and looking good when I returned. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will use them again if needed.

Excellent! They did exactly what we asked them to do and once they were done their clean up was so thorough you wouldn't know they were even there. Even the site of the tree removal and stump grinding somehow looked like a tree was never there! Having dealt with other tree services in the past Alex and his crew are the best we have ever used and we will be calling them if we ever need additional work.

Thomas was our contact for the tree service we requested, his responsiveness was impressive. Communication was clear and concise. Alex’s tree service took care of everything, from cutting our 3 very large trees down and grinding the stump to make our yard level as desired for easy yard maintenance. They also handled all aspect of having a power line dropped during the process with Duke Energy. When the crew left, there was no mess left behind. They even vacuumed up every piece of saw dust to leave my yard amazingly beautiful. Their service exceeded my expectations. I definitely would recommend them for any of your tree service needs.

I just had a huge oak tree removed that was leaning towards my house with limbs extending out over my house and a new, very expensive vinyl fence in my backyard. I got quotes from several different services with the most reviews and best ratings. They were all going to charge over $5K and would not guarantee that my fence wouldn't be damaged! Then, I contacted a neighbor who recently had some trees removed to find out who he used. That is how I found Alex's Tree Service. Alex brought a crew of 9 or 10 guys and made short work of that oak tree without so much as touching the house or fence. They removed a bunch of other trees, as well, and charged half of what the other services quoted me. Alex told me that he and his crew go all over the country to help with hurricane clean up and many on his crew have worked for Duke Energy clearing limbs from power lines. They didn't even use a truck or a lift of any kind. They did it all by climbing trees and using ropes. They would tie ropes to an enormous limb, cut the limb and use the ropes to swing it over the fence and set it down precisely where they wanted it every time. I was so mesmerized by those guys that I couldn't stop watching them - I pulled a chair up to my window and watched for over four hours! To put the cherry on top, they cleaned up every leaf and limb - my yard and deck were cleaner when they left than when they arrived. I can't say enough good things about them - they were amazing!

Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional and nice. The work was done quickly in about a day and a half and the results look great. Would highly recommend!

Responded quickly right after hurricane Florence passed through. Gave a quote. Work was completed Monday 10/1/18. Stump grinding included. Thoroughly cleaned the area. No damage to other trees or fencing. Would never even know a tree was there. Maintained constant contact via phone and text. Insisted I inspect the area before making payment to be sure I was happy. Excellent service. Outstanding job.

Everything went great. The workers showed up on time and quickly removed the trees and cleaned up everything, finishing in about 3 hours. Alex walked the property with me both before and after to ensure the work they were going to do, as well as the finished product, was correct. I thought the price was reasonable given the amount of work it required. I would hire them again.

It went very well I am so pleased with the company. They were very professional, they were on time, got the tree cut down, clean up all the debris that was from the tree, even cleaned up some limbs that I had put out on the curb. The price that was quoted to me were fantastic, I thought wow these men are wonderful, I am so pleased with this company and yes and yes and yes I would recommend this company . They have nothing but A + on their report card. I am so pleased that I find them through Angieslist.

Received very detailed quote. Scheduling was quick and flexible. Took their time to make sure everything was done as expected. Good value. Seems like we got the most overall attention and trimming for the money. Compared three quotes in all. Felt Alex's was the best value. Based on the experience we had, wouldn't hesitate to call them again. They also didn't want to be payed until they were completely finished. Usually a good sign.

Great, the job was completed on time, and they did a good job cleaning up after the tree were removed.

Thomas came by one night and we walked through all of the work that needed to be done. He provided me a quote which was thorough and offered a cash discount cheaper than any of the other 3 quotes I had. We scheduled the work for about a month out. Day of both Alex and Thomas showed up around 6:15 and we did a walkthrough of the property before the crew arrived. The crew got right to work and wrapped up around 1 PM that day. Very easy to work with and were very gracious as they ended up doing some additional work at no additional cost that was not included in the estimate. Also cleaned up after themselves very well. Definately would recommend!

Alex and his team were excellent! I have extremely high expectations and standards for work and I'm happy to say they were exceeded. Thomas was great to work with, discussing what we needed to have done and providing a very fair and competitive estimate. We had 10 trees removed and a lot of trimming (9 trees). The team showed up on time, communicated what they were going to do that day and completed their work each day leaving no trace they were ever there. They cleaned up and everything they moved was put back in its place. I highly recommend doing business with Alex's Tree Service. We have already recommended them to our neighbors and will call them again in the future.

Thomas gave me a quote for the work and some other things I needed done but I decided not to cut the tree down at that time. He was very busy because of all the trees brought down by recent storms and rain. He called me back and said if he could do the work anytime before the end of the following month he would reduce the price by $400. I told him to do the job and the crew came the following week and took the tree down without any problems (it was close to two neighbors fences). they did a professional job and cleaned up everything when they were done.
