Work was completed in a timely fashion and was well done.  Worker answered my questions about the job and also answered questions I had about other electrical work. <br />

Originally, I had a relative staying to ensure that someone was home when they arrived. The service technician arrived and attempted to do the work, but my relative pretty much failed at answering the door at all. The company was very nice and understanding of this scheduling issue, which was clearly my fault. They were prompt, professional, and courteous in the notification of the missed appointment and in rescheduling. <br /> The service technician arrived and was very professional and to the point. The work was finished and completed much quicker than I was expecting. The installation went well and I continue to appreciate the work done. <br />

Provider was quick and efficient. Both fans were installed with no issues and work great. We highly recommend them. <br />

The technician was nice, but late.  Apparently his companion didn't show up for work that day so it threw off his schedule.  He performed the work well enough, but the light switch in the closet was really high.  His response was that it was standard.  It wasn't.  But it's a closet so I didn't mind.  Then he installed an outlet under the bathroom cabinet...but it was so low that I can't use the bottom outlet for anything with a large grounding plug. <br />

<p>All the above work was completed in about 3 1/2 hours and performed very professionally.  Resulting work fully met our needs and advice given on exactly where to place the lights was exactly right.  We definitely will use this company to do our work in the future.</p> <br />

The installation seemed to go well but I realized early this summer that one of the air vents in our bedroom was not putting out any air. What I discovered is that our flexible duct work was damaged during the installation of the four recessed lights that Total Electric, Inc. installed in our home. As stated above, I noticed that there was no air flow coming from one of the vents in our bedroom so I contacted the HVAC technician that I normally hire for HVAC related work. He ran a snake camera down the vent and discovered a complete blockage in the flexible duct work. The blockage required opening the ceiling in the family room under our bedroom to access the duct. After opening the ceiling and locating the problem, it is clear that the damage occurred during the installation of the recessed lighting as evidenced by the holes drilled in the ceiling joists to run wire. There was also a hole in the duct and the blockage was caused when the drill bit used to drill through the joists, twisted the flexible duct shut thereby shutting off any air flow. I took several photos of the damage and sent it to the company for them to see and also retained the piece of ductwork that is twisted shut. I even offered to leave the ceiling open so the electricians could come over and assess the damage for themselves. No one from the company ever came over but they did indicate in an e-mail that they would reimburse me for the cost of the repair in the amount of $353 after I submitted the invoice for repair to them. After numerous attempts to be reimbursed for the repairs and numerous promises that they would pay, I have not received reimbursement for the repair costs. Although they claim to be out of business I see there are several recent reviews on Angie's List about this company as recently as October 16th. In an e-mail I received from the company a few months ago, they stated that they had gone out of business in February of this year.  Despite stating that they would reimburse me for the damages, I have not received anything and they are no longer responding to my e-mails. I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of the HVAC work and drywall work that was required to repair the damage caused by this company.  I sent photos of the damage and in invoice for repairs to Total Electric on August 30th. <br /> <p> </p>

John was great. He installed the ceiling fan, then I had him back to do an attic vent later.

This went very well. The company called to say the installer would be early. When he arrived, he was very professional and completed the work within an hour and cleaned up, including disposing of my old exhaust fan. I would definitely use this company again. <br />
