The actual work was ok although the movers didn't follow instructions well. The problem was they were so late that we had to pay for another day on the rental truck. I called them several times in the days before the move, to stress how important it was for us to be finished in time to get the truck back and was assured that there was no problem. They showed up 2.5 hours late and we had to pay for an extra day on the truck. Afterwards, I asked them to reimburse me for the extra day for the truck and they wouldn't. <br />

These guys do great work. They came the night before to do disassembly and wrapping. They arrived on time the next morning. The guys were professional and polite. They worked quickly, put everythiing where I asked, and left no mess. No complaints, would hire them again without hesitation. <br />

They were absolutely outstanding. I would use them again and I would recommend them to anyone. They are fantastic. They sent 2 people put to do the job each time. The movers were very helpful and courteous. They helped with anything without hesitation. I called one time and they did not have availability and the owner came and also another worker who had the day off came as well and they really went above and beyond for us and I was really impressed. They also even helped to put together furniture.

The owner/manager was condescending and unprofessional in my opinion. We had multiple items damaged and broken with absolutely no offer to compensate or remedy the situation in a satisfactory way. One of our chairs was deeply gouged and he offered to color it in with a stain pen and acted like I was absurd for being upset that the wood itself was damaged and not happy with simply coloring it in. I have hired many movers and been through many moves and this was by far the longest process. It took a full 8 hours to move a 2500 sq ft house and a small shed approximately 10 miles, the majority of which went to wrapping and covering everything (which made it even more surprising that there was damage). Of the three men that came for the move we were very pleased with one but it was not enough to out weigh the negative. We would not hire this company again.

In regards to your chair that was damaged, we have offered to fix the chair by a professional wood working company. The only thing we spoke about is that normally when a scratch does occurs we would use wood color to fill in the scratch. We would never make a customer feel condescending or act unprofessional because we take pride with Angie's List customers and we value the Angie's list model. I must admit that we are completely confused with this review because of a few things. The owner was more than willing to fix the the scratched chair at no additional cost and is still more than willing to fix the chair that we scratched. This is a standard within our company to fix anything that is fixable. Throughout the entire move we (all the movers) jumped over hoops for you throughout the entire move regardless of the task that was asked. In regards to the amount of time that it took for your move to occur we asked to have everything boxed and ready to go and when they are not then we have to take extra precaution to ensure the items that we not properly packed get packed and wrapped before they are loaded on the truck. The owner was the person who loaded and unloaded the truck and the only damage that occurred was a scratch on your chair in which we alerted you about and informed you that we would fix. We worked long and hard in the sun with no complaints from any of the workers. We take pride in what we do and we enjoy meeting new people and helping them relocate from one destination to another. When a piece of furniture is damaged that does not qualify a move being bad, giving everything else we moved arrived in tip top condition. If you are upset about the chair we completely understand and am willing to fix this problem but it is very indifferent when everything else on the move went according to plan. We gave you superior customer service and we worked endlessly for you and this review that you submitted in our eyes is your opinion and we totally respect it but in reality not accurate at all. We had initially been impressed with this company and our services until we unpacked our POD at our destination in PA. Because there were a lot of guys working at one time to move our furniture/appliances into the POD, I didn't have the ability to be in two places at once.... inside the house getting things ready to go out and then outside where the POD was being loaded. Because of this, I missed the fact that they loaded my washing machine UPSIDE DOWN on top of my dryer in the POD. This caused a myriad of problems.... a crushed dryer top and significant damage to the washing machine. The washing machine leaked out nearly all of the transmission fluid because it was upside down, the transmission fluid got all over everything in the POD, and I had an estimate of over $350 in repairs just for the washing machine, let alone the smashed dryer, and then my time to clean up all the transmission fluid that got all over EVERYTHING. I ended up just replacing the washer and dryer and that was an expense I wasn't prepared for. <br /> Overall, I was not impressed with the end results. Who would think that a washing machine (which is at least twice as heavy as a dryer) should be put on top with the lighter item on the bottom? This is just basic common knowledge. The heavy stuff gets put on the bottom, the lighter stuff on the top. And then to turn a washing machine upside down? Just not professional at all. <br />

It worked well. They picked up things just when they said they would and were very nice. They charged exactly what they said they would. They didn’t need additional time. They were very efficient and the price of the service was excellent.

They were very professional and worked very hard. They were VERY careful not to scratch our hardwood floors. We underestimated the amount of time it would take to do the work but they were reasonable with the overage. They were a pleasure to have in our home. Would use again. <br />

We had All About Relocation Services move a large hutch (~250 lbs) from downstairs to upstairs. The price was perfect. Most other companies were about double the price. They were also willing to work around our schedule and come on a Sunday morning. The job was supposed to start at 8AM, but no one showed up. I called William to see what was going on. He was professional over the phone, and let me know that one of his guys was stuck on the DART. Not a big deal since it was Sunday and we had time. One gentleman showed up at ~10AM, and was able to quickly disassemble the hutch. He had to wait until ~10:30AM for the 2nd gentleman to make it from the DART. When they both were there the job went quick. It took them ~15 minutes to move the hutch upstairs and reassemble the 2-piece set. There was some minor damage to the hutch, but it should be easily fixed and can be used without much problem. I would say, other than being late, the job went well. I would use them again for small moves around the house. <br />

William did a great job, and is one of the most professional movers I have ever worked with. He is well spoken, punctual, and organized. His team is hand picked. They worked on the weekend to accommodate my schedule, and used my old boxes to help me on the cost. William is easy to get in contact with, and is very specific and explicit about the plan of execution. <br /> We did have one mishap were two pieces were damaged. William went well out of his way to ensure they were repaired to "like-new" condition. It took a while to get it done, but that was do to getting parts. The fact that William stayed on top of it is a testament to his dedication and professionalism. I would recommend William and I look forward to working with him again. <br />

Arranged to do the move on Sunday in order to meet my schedule. Didn't charge a premium for outside of normal business hours. Due to heavy rain all day, the job was delayed until about 5:30 pm. William went out of his way to get the move completed as quickly as possible and within budget. He and his co-worker were extremely careful, well organized and diligent. Once started the move was completed within the agreed upon time and went without a hitch. I would use them again and I am actively sharing the positive move experience with all who I know are facing a similar move. I have made over 15 moves in the military including six overseas moves, and this business is the best by far. <br />

I've really struggled with this review. I've wanted to write one for awhile, and I wanted to make sure it was fair. I think that William and his crew did some great things but I also think they have areas that need improvement. If you have a short distance move and need a good crew, these are your guys. If I was moving across town and needed some hustle and muscle to get the job done, then look no further. There were 8 guys on the Dallas end of my move and they 1) worked hard and 2) did a great job wrapping furniture. There were some nicks and scratches and a wobbly table and broken grill handle, but nothing that wouldn't be expected for a long move, in and out of storage. But what they didn't do so well was to keep together the parts and pieces of the things they took apart. I know they had a system, but when we went to unpack on the opposite end, things weren't easy to find. We are still missing the side to my daughter's bed along with parts of a shelving system from her room. When we put together our kitchen table, two of the legs were with the top, but it took us weeks to find other two legs, which ended up being in a box labeled "garage" (and let's face it, those are the last boxes you unpack!). The same box labeled "garage" that held the table legs also held the dining room rug, the dog's pooper scooper, and the weed whacker. I ended up throwing away the rug, after it sat with a dirty dog poop scoop on it for weeks. This is just one example of several things that we just couldn't find for quite some time- the refrigerator handle, the feet to our master bed... All things that should have been secured with the rest of the pieces of the whole. Our things were in and out of storage, which could account for some of it, but I think some of it could have been avoided- even if just by clearly labeling boxes. On the Dallas end of our move, William did a great job of suppling us with manpower to get the house packed up and loaded in the truck, but on the Providence end of things we only had two guys (both hard working) but it just wasn't enough. William picked up two local guys, but at the end of the day the trucks were unloaded, but the furniture was still wrapped and there were over 40 boxes that were in the wrong rooms (they were clearly labeled). William's crew headed home the next day, and William ended up sending the local guys back a few days later to finish the job. This just sort of backs up my point that he would be good on a local move, but I just can't say I can confidently recommend him for a long distance move. William is very friendly and easy to work with. He returns calls and emails quickly, and was willing to do whatever was needed to fix the problems I had with my move. <br />

They did a great job. Very careful with our furniture - appropriately wrapped/covered the furniture. Moved some of our heavy items up several flights of stairs and were very careful to not bump/scratch the walls. Hard-working and honored their prices. Would highly recommend. <br />

These gentlemen were terrific. When there was a miscommunication (our company phones were turned off sooner than expected), they worked with us to adjust the arrangements accordingly and were most gracious. They moved all the materials carefully and when the time allotted proved insufficient, we got a good price on additional time and manpower. They even coped beautifully with all the nerves and emotion of people closing up shop at a family business of nearly half a century, and never left us feeling awkward for shedding a tear here and there. The items moved included artwork, vintage designer furniture, office materials, and various delicate items. Anything that was inadequately wrapped, they explained in polite yet clear terms what we would have to do in order for them to be able to move it without damage. Note about the ratings item "where was service provided?" -- The Angie's List form doesn't give the option of indicating anything other than my address or their address, but the service actually was a gift to retiring parents, moving their belongings from their business in 75234 to a location in 75229.
