All Access Lock & Security

It went Perfectly. Joe arrived right on time and made sure he was parked in a good spot (I live in a co-op with a lot of rules about such things). After inspecting existing parts he told me that the knob and deadbolt were of very good quality and recommended just changing the lock cylinders. He did just that and happily honoured an Angies list coupon (even though I was unable to print it). His honesty saved me well over $150.00 He took his time and was not in a rush, sort of how you might remember skilled craftsmen from the past. He answered all my questions and made sure all worked perfectly before leaving. I will definitely hire Joe again and can recommend him highly. He also happens to be a very nice guy.

joe was on time and demonstrated expertise and extremely practical/efficient in his solution. Fixed door without trying to upsell!  Appreciated his candor and effectiveness doing a straight ahead repair to the lock.

Joe was able to come the same day as inquiry and provided a very quick, informative and honest job. He was a super nice guy, did a good job- had to come back to correct something and was very prompt on returning and fixing it immediately.  One thing I didn't like was that he decided to set up shop in my garage and although he used a blanket or some type of covering to set his equipment/parts on, he didn't ask for permission to do so and unbeknownst to him used an antique desk that has been in the family for 30 years.  He also told me on two occasions that he would get back to me about repairing another door lock and I never heard back from him.  Overall he seems like a decent guy and I hope he continues to get more business. <br />

Joe Kearns of All Access Lock & Security was great!  I called other locksmiths that I had found on the internet, and some guy came to my house and tried to take me to the cleaners.  I could tell that the dude didn't know what he was doing.  I looked up locksmiths on the internet and watched a couple of videos on how to tell a professional locksmith.  I then went to Angie's list and found Jo Kearns' number.  Joe met and exceeded all of the criteria listed in the videos and my expectations!  He let me send him pictures of the problem before he came and let me know exactly how much it would be to fix the problem.  He showed up on time, explained what he was doing before he did it.   When he saw an additional problem with the door, he fixed it without trying to take me for more money.  When you get locked out of your house you feel vulnerable and afraid.  In addition to fearing for your safety you fear that someone will come and overcharge you.  Not only did Joe not do that but he gave me a lot of helpful information that will help me stay safe in my house.  Joe is EXCELLENT!!!!!  The locksmith videos that I watched said before something happens, find a locksmith who is reputable, honest and dependable and save their number on your cell phone in case you are in trouble.  My advice everyone save Joe Kearns -- All Access Lock & Security's number on your phone.  YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID!!! <br />

He also noticed a loose deadbolt (which he did not have <br /> the parts to replace) so he offered to come back to fix that issue. <br />

Joe was on time, right on the dot. He was professional and provided great suggestions for securing our home. He expertly replaced 3 cylinders in no time and was very pleasant to work with. I recommend him highly. <br />

Joe was earlier than the appointment time (which was great, because he unknowingly accommodated my baby's eating / napping schedule!). <br /> He listened carefully to my description of the problem we've been having with our front door, and offered some possible explanations for what was going wrong.  He asked questions to get a more precise picture of what we were dealing with.  He took the time to describe to me how locks work, how our specific locks might have gone awry, and what our options were for fixing and/or replacing them. <br /> He put my mind at ease about not getting the most expensive (read: in my mind, the best) option for locks.  Rather, he saved me hundreds of dollars by working with what we had purchased at Home Depot (but failed to install correctly), and repairing an easy fix.  He also provided an extra part from his truck, rather than making me order it on my own and have him return later to install it. <br /> Joe was at our place for about an hour, was very congenial and professional, explained everything he was doing as he was doing it, showed me every piece of the locks and described to me how they work, and did the actual repair and installation in a quick & professional manner.   <br /> He really lived up to his excellent Angie's List rating, and I would definitely use him again and/or recommend him to neighbors & friends. <br />

Prompt, courteous and friendly. Made the whole experience very easy. Came in and knew exactly what needed to be done. Locks were re-keyed, keys provided and it was done!! Would highly recommend!!! <br />
