It went great, from the first phone call to the installation. I retiled my master bathroom and wanted a new frameless shower door to go with the new tile. Starting with the first phone call, when Randall set a date to come give me an estimate, Randall also provided good advice for this novice home improver re: questions to ask my tile contractor and care for the glass and mirrors.. Besides the shower door, there is a window in the wall between the shower and the tub. Randall gave me an estimate for both the door and window, and said if the existing window survived the dismantling and still fit after the tilework was done, he would re-install it for free. When Randall came to measure after the tilework was done, he said that the window would fit (how easy would it have been to say it was off by a fraction of an inch? Not he!). Because my tilework took longer than I thought, I had to reschedule installation a couple of times. Randall was very accommodating. The day of installation, he called to ask if he could come early because he knew I had a meeting to attend later that afternoon. So he came early, installed the shower door, cleaned and re-installed the window (no charge), and also removed some paint off a mirror and cleaned that. The door is beautiful and really enhances my bethroom. I can recommend Randall with no reservations whatsoever. He is honest, does good work, and as a bonus is also a nice and interesting man.

Very well. The shower looks great and the installed glass is made of a durable 1/4", high quality glass enclosure accented with silver top trim. Door is easy to open and seals securely when closed. We are very glad we choose this Angies List member,

Mr. Wilson was extremely professional, prompt, courteous and personable. He met my very time-constrained schedule to meet for a design consultation and gave an extremely competitive estimate. He gave an estimated time for job completion, called the next day to confirm that timeline, and arrived on the promised day (15 minutes early!) to complete the install in less than 3 hours! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and will use his services again, whenever we have the need.

Randall was exceptionally responsive, coming out to Woodstock to give a free consultation within 24 hours of initial contact. He examined the cabinet, identified it's age, and recommended that we use as many original parts to make the repair as possible, to maintain the value it still had as an antique. After getting our approval on the quote, he told us about his Angie's List discount, and promised to return 2 days later to allow for purchasing of parts. He arrived on time to the minute, and the work was completed in the amount of time he said it would be. He was meticulous in his attention to detail, making certain that you couldn't tell that the original wooden glazing strips had been broken before being replaced in the cabinet, and did a great job, particularly considering the wobbly nature of most well-used antiques like this one. The price came in exactly on budget and on time. We were extremely pleased with everything about this service call, and we are keeping his number in case we need him again!

We were looking to put glass tops on our family room furniture tables to help protect the finish. I called Randall and provided him with the measurements I took, but he suggested he should come out and measure just to be sure :-). He said he could be out the next day at 1:00 pm to measure. The next day, he called me at 12:00 to let me know he would be at the house by 1:00 pm. Randall showed up (on time), took the measurements, gave us some suggestions on the type of glass we should use and the different types of edging. Two days later, he was back (as promised) with the glass tops. Even though we dusted before he arrived, Randall still cleaned our table tops and new glass tops before installing them and ensuring their fit, which was like a glove. Overall, great work and a good person. Randall showed up when he said he would and always called ahead to let us know he was on his way... a rarity in the service industry today. The price quoted was what we paid and there was never any presure to buy something we didn't need. The glass tops was a small transaction but we plan to use Randall for a frameless shower when we finish our basement.

"Thank you for posting a photo looks really nice.The outlet covers I came back to re-mount had a white backing, witch showed up too much in the reflection of the mirror,so I replaced these with covers that had a black backing and they looked much better. Thanks again."

I called a couple of other companies but they just gave me their standard line. When I called Randall, I could immediately tell how much pride he takes in what he does and I knew he would do the best job. I could not have been more pleased. He followed through on every commitment. If he told me he would call back then he called back immediately, and he showed up exactly when he said he would. Our delivery was scheduled for the day after the snow storm, I figured he would call to reschedule. No, he spent 2.5 hours to drive to my house and showed up early to install! His price included coming out to measure, which many others did not. He also hand polishes the glass to make it the best quality, and our edge was perfect. The quality and price were the best, and one of the most important factors was the quality of the individual. Randall is such a good and genuine person. I felt very good about doing business with him and I would highly, highly recommend him!

I spoke with Randall and informed him we had a glass shower kit that we needed installed. He happened to be near our home and was able to come over the same day we spoke and take a look at everything. Upon meeting him he was very personable and professional. He looked at everything and although he doesn't typically install kits (he does custom showers) I could tell he was quite knowledgeable in working with and installing glass. He quoted me a price for the install, which was just a bit high for us. After calling him back, we were able to agree on a price that was lower than originally quoted, which we really appreciated. He showed up on the installation day on time and with another gentleman to help. Based on the fact that our shower was a kit and not custom, they did a good job. I actually had to call Randall the next day with some questions and he called me right back answered all my questions and was very helpful. I would definitely recommend them.
