The install in 2006 went very well, the company provided topnotch care and quality of work. However, do not expect any aftercare, they simply do not respond to requests, even if you are persistent.

It has been a truly terrible experience. Darin Lentner who is AAW VP of sales for residential division was very good in following up to get us to sign the contract and promising best crews to install, all work to be done within 2 weeks, and to collect money etc. etc. etc . We visited their showroom which was quite impressive, and thought we made a good choice by going with this company to replace all windows and doors in our house. Boy were we wrong! We signed the contract in the end of March / beginning of April. The order should have come in within 6 weeks or so, it did not come in till second part of June. They were supposed to be done by June 30th, which they promised to be completed and all done with. It has not happened, in fact they are still not done and we are in the end of August. The reason is that people which were sent to our house to do work were totally unqualified, they did not know what they were doing. Windows were installed wrong, NOAs which they must follow for installation were not followed, some windows were ordered the wrong size, broken, etc. There was no supervision or checking on the job, they were hoping that we will not notice the deficiencies but we did. Different people were sent to us, there was no continuity between the install people, between what Darin was telling us and what they were actually doing, it was and still is a disaster! They sub out their installation work to whoever they can find, to people who are not properly trained to install windows and are doing bad job trying to cover it. It maybe that most of homeowners will not notice some of the deficiencies, but we did. They did not finish as they promised on June 30th, in fact they are still not done over 2 months later from the day they started. There has been a lot of misrepresentation, the ownership (Josh and Jona) is not responsive either. One of the owners showed up in the beginning once, but has not been addressing our concerns since then. So I assume they just simply do not care. It is extremely frustrating, we paid 90% of the money plus permit fees, and we are getting no commitment on when they will be done. It is unbelievable, the pictures attached are just some of the items, which still have to be rectified. If we did not notice, they would have been covered up and done with. There is no quality in installation, and I have my serious doubts that they can finish the job. I would not recommend them, unless you want to go thru the same horrible experience as us. We will be taking whatever steps necessary to get done with this nightmare.

The work was completed very well and on time. They do use a sub contractor to do the physical install. The contractor was very good and covered all the permitting and was here when the inspector showed up. The inspector actually commented that they like to see the large number of screws that they used on the install so the door was secure.
There was an issue with the front door handles, they sent over the wrong handles that didn't fit, so we had a day without door handles on the front door until they came in from the manufacturer.
Once I got them to return my call and come give an estimate they were great. Yet, we had to call 3 times to check on the door and get a time for them to come install.
We had them replace all of our interior windows and they were very professional and the work was well done. This is why we used them to replace the front door. I would recommend them to others because of the quality of work performed.
The only good part of the whole experience was actually placing the order way back in March 2015. Mark Shenkman was a "true" salesman and provided all the right answers but dropped the ball the minute the order was placed and we signed the contract. In essence, he promised a lot of things that the company just cannot deliver. Starting with workmanship and ultimately ending with the install of the final product. This is shoddy work to say the least. Very disappointed and a waste of our money.

During the month March, we contracted with All American Windows (AAW) for the installation of impact sliders/ windows, and two doors. We were told by the salesman that it would take approximately six weeks for delivery, and installation to take place during the first or second week of May. As it turned out, delivery of all components to AAW was not complete until end of July, installation carried well into August, and we are still waiting for the covers for two posts, the interior top cross support beam, and a few other details to be taken care of. Throughout, the waiting period, there were no updates from the company regarding the numerous delays, work dates, etc. Only after we made inquiry in June about the status of our order, did we start to receive some updates. It was later learned that AAW subcontracts to ES Windows, the manufacturer and installers, and that the windows and doors are made in, and shipped from Colombia. We were told by workers that six months is customary for some shipments to arrive and installation to begin.

In regard to workmanship, as just one example, the tight fit of the double panel front door frame was dealt with by setting a piece of 2x4 on the frame and literally pounding it into place with a 2 lb. hammer, causing enough frame distortion to offset the locking bolts, and as a result requiring a number of adjustments to secure proper lock function. Even the door handles were misaligned and it took three visits from the manufacturer's technician to correct. The metal pin was distorted and this was from assembly in Colombia. Initially, the Technician stated it could not be corrected. Finally he did correct the handles by replacing the pin. We have a huge punch list that keeps growing. They have sent their Technicians from both AAW and ES Windows to try and rectify some of the problems and flaws. They promised they would be back after the Inspection from the Palm Beach Inspector. This took place on the 19th of August. The technicians have been back and we still have issues to be resolved. We are so disappointed and dissatisfied with the workmanship with the aluminum bronze windows, sliders and entry door. Instead of using bronze colored screws, the workers used silver and white colored screws in areas that would not be covered and proceeded to just paint them with bronze enamel from the "Auto Zone" shop. The colors do not match! According to one worker, this transpired because no one from ES Windows took the time to order and/or buy the correct bronze colored screws so they used what they had on hand. The caulking around the window frames is so sloppy and so visible it seems like it was completed by a toddler. The two stationary windows were not sealed properly and were leaking water when it rained recently. The fire coated bronze original paint had to be touched up in so many places due to many, many scratches resulting from negligence from the workers during installation. Of course the touch-ups do not match the original paint and in all areas are very noticeable. Waiting for some "decorative""panels to cover up some of the bad areas throughout. These panels will be glued on the inside and on the outside. (Hope they hold up to the elements.) The salesman mentioned that these were not the old sliders of years past and that these sliders could be opened and closed very easily. At least in our case, these sliders do not open and close that easily...and are peeling the fire coated paint right off the railings. Unfortunately this project required too many emails, telephone calls and repair visits to count. Ugh!!!

AAW is the BEST experience we had so far in our renovation process. They are super professional. They deliver when they committed to. They only had a 3 days delay but they called us a week before of the deadline to inform us that the installation date would be moved 3 days.
They came early in the morning, they spend all the time needed to move and secure our furniture. They covered everything and they protected our floors. They work the whole day and I only heard from them at the end of the day because they didn't remember where a chair went placed!!!! They wipe our floors. OMG!!! By the end of the day we had a new looking house and we didn't feel any annoyance! They did sooooo much work and yet when they leave you couldn't be able to tell that so many people worked so hard the whole day. Our house was as clean as it was when they came!!
So, AAW takes care of everything it needs to be take care of regarding the job. You only need to pay them and enjoy your new windows. So hard to find people that work with this level of professionalism. AMAZING!!!!!!!!

I wrote an early review thinking that this project was going to be a breeze. I spoke too soon and gave All American Windows (hereafter referred to as AAW) a good review. So I am re-writing. Now in retrospect, it was too good to be true because up until the ordering process it was going fairly well. Now in retrospect, this is an ongoing nightmare. Early on, Salesman Mark Shenkman provided all the appropriate "buzz" words in order to make the sale. His words resonated as everything from the doors can be operated with a couple of fingers, this is not yesteryear's sliding doors, they will be smooth and easy to operate, etc. The best part of this ordeal was actually the computerized drawing of the doors and windows to be placed in the lanai based upon our specifications. AAW subcontracts to ES Windows who in turn makes the windows in South America. ES Windows are also the installers. It took over four months to get the shipment and I was told by the workers that it is averaging about six months for orders to come in. I was told I was lucky. The company did not even bother to call to give a progress report on the order until I started calling frequently and following up since I had been told this would take approximately six weeks to receive.

The install and follow-up will be reviewed under separate cover since this saga is still ongoing because AAW needs to correct some of the mess and sloppiness left behind by ES Windows while installing. The French doors were not locking because the pin had been bent during install or misaligned from the factory. This took the ES Window technician two visits since he stated that there was nothing he could do the first time he visited. The materials used leave a lot to be desired since I have to continue to apply touch up paint/enamel because it is very easily peeled and scratched. It is not fire coated as was mentioned. Sorry to say, I have inherited thirty year old sliders and windows that look better than these brand new ones. To be continued...

They were great. It was a lot of money but it was worth it. They had to fit it into the countertop and take a part of the outside shelf out. They did a good job and were very careful. There was nothing that I disliked about them. I would use them again for my windows. They would be the one that I call. Their price was competitive for the product that they sold. I could have found someone cheaper but I wouldn’t have the quality.

My experience with them was really bad. I would have never used that company if I had known. I was extremely disappointed. They had to come and fix the screen door five or six times. The warranty went away after a year and we have only one door working. They didn’t want to do anything else about it. It was very bad. Their price was good.

It was fine. It’s a beautiful door but they didn’t do our windows. They did a wonderful job. We got them. The whole neighbourhood did it. Three or four houses used them. Everybody was very pleased with them. The door is a hurricane impact door. That makes a big difference. Everything goes with it. It was well worth it. It’s a gorgeous door. Unfortunately, we are moving. We won’t get to enjoy it that much longer. Their pricing is comparable to everybody else. Their price is along with other people. Once we saw how good they were with the neighbour’s door and how beautiful it turned out. We were just impressed with them. That’s why we went with them. The price didn’t come that bad. The quality is good. They were here when they said they were going to be here.

The service was very good. I was very pleased with their work. They were on time and finished the job when they said they will finish the job. They did some work for me over a 3 year period. First they did the front of my house. They did it in sections and didn't do it all at one time. Two workers came. They had the best prices, when I called around from the other competitors. I liked their product better than what the other competitors were offering. A lot of the other competitors were trying to sell a vinyl hurricane impact window and they use the aluminum which I preferred and thought that would last a lot longer and stand up better. They remove the regular windows and replace the hurricane windows which are rated up to a category 4. They also add an additional layer of insulation to give you better insulation in your house. They also have a film on the windows that reflects UV rays so you don't get that direct heat coming into the house. There are no shutters, just the windows. I would give them a good rating. I was very happy with them. When I called them to come out and take the measurements, they came out right away. They put the order in. Once the order goes in, you pay half of the fee for the windows, then you pay the balance once the job is completed.

This was a great experience from the initial quote all the way through the install itself. The communication throughout the whole process was great. The timetable was accurate, which as we all know in dealing with home projects, can be a challenge.
The installers were very professional and worked tirelessly, completing our project in 2 days. They showed up even before they said they would each morning. They kept their work areas extremely neat and it's obvious that is an area that's stressed to the installers.
All American even handled the permit process which is incredibly tedious and can be a headache when dealing with the city!!!
This was a great experience for my whole family and I will certainly be referring All American Windows and Doors to all my friends and family.

Overall ok. Installers were professional and helpful. There were some miscommunications and I was left waiting all morning for someone who was supposed to come and do some finish work but never called or showed up. When they did show up they could only do one window because they didn't bring a ladder to fining a high window so they will have to come back again. Although one person from the company said the installers should have cleaned the windows, the office personal said they were not responsible for that, therefore we have new windows, some very high that we must now clean.

Well I placed an order for a front door in March. They told me it would be installed in April. However, they did not install it until July. I called and confirmed the date and time of installation twice in July, since I had to ask for a couple of days off of work for the install. On the first day of scheduled installation, they did not even show up! I even called to confirm the same morning of the appointment! They gave me a $100 discount as a consolation. Problem is - I lost a lot more money than that by having to take the day off of work to wait for them. Then I had to take another additional day off of work so they could reschedule the installation. At least the quality of the installation was quite good…
