"Technician advised customer from house that part was no longer available from LG. I did try to find the part from other distributors, and even a used one couldn't be located. Based on the notes and the technician letting me know he had already advised the customer it wasn't available, I assumed that the ticket was closed as coded and no other information needed. I did reach out to the customer to explain that further today before providing a response. There was a bit of miscommunication between the technician and myself it appears since Zach had explained the customer was aware we wouldn't be able to get the part, and if we could find it we needed to call. The customer was under the impression we would call either way. Just wanted to reiterate we didn't ignore the customer or avoid calling him back, it was just confirmed the part wasn't available and we had already told him that, so I thought that was the end of it and he was already replacing it. I'm sorry for the miscommunication and hopefully next time we can work on something parts are available for and get you going in a timely fashion. Thank you for your review, and I will discuss with Zach to be more clear when/if a return call is needed."
"Not a whole lot i can add to this. We did fail you by not putting in big bold letters on the ticket not to use the dryer, i will accept that fault. However you failed to mention that bruce took the time to explain the thermal fuse (which is a fire prevention device) blew due to lack of airflow, and that he walked your husband around the side of the house and showed him no to very very low air flow coming out. As you explained to me....you dont ubderstand dryers and that wasnt enough explanation for you and for that im truly sorry. You've been a great customer, in fact that is why i offered to deeply discount the replacement part. The dryer functioned fine when he left and with another fuse and a clean vent would function fine until this day. The miscommunication lies in no air flow out causing the machine to get too hot...which in turn means if the part we put on didnt blow again your house would burn down. From a technical standpoint im nit sure he could've explained it better....i usually dont even walk people outside to show the vent blocked up. I 110% believe he siad dont use it...but as part of our spill we always explain what is broken and why etc.....so at a minimum i know he said it shouldn't be used until the vent issues was resolved. I couldnt figure out from our conversation exactly what you wanted, whether it be a free cleaning, a waived bill, or just another service for free. Either way i doubt youve went this long without a dryer, so the issues likely resolved. I hope you remember all the good services with us and change your mind in the future. This was 100% miscommunication, and i did offer to help on the cost, but if you stand in someones home and say if you use this before cleaning it could burn your house down.....im not sure that do not use it would've sounded any different to you. I may be wrong and again if i am im sorry we failed you but from our conversation both you and your husband, he told you it had no airflow and the no airflow blew the fuse.....it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out if you run it longer with no airflow it will blow the same part again. Again, look at your previous review, i have had a great relationship with you all, i hope it can continue in the future, but im not gonna bend on the fact he told you it cant be used like it is, you used it, and now want us to warranty a part that saved your house from going up in flames. It did its job, i can help you with the price, beyond that i cant do any more. I appreciate your past and present business and i have instructed bruce and everyone to start having the customer initial that the machine cannot be used in these circunstances. So know you were part of a change in how we do business. Thank you, and as always give me a call if you'd like to discuss any further. 615 568 8501. Brandon"
