All Bright Tub Refinishing LLC

First off, I'll say that I was not the original customer, so I won't be in his database.  I purchased a home in June.  The previous owners left me this man's business card, advised me that he had resurfaced the tub, and the work was covered by a five year warranty.  The first time I turned on the water, the finish cracked in three places.  The jets are all painted shut, there is dog hair painted in to the finish.  I called and got the voicemail, left a detailed message explaining who I was and asked in the message if the work was indeed covered by a warranty.  Three voicemails and an email went with no response.  I got someone else to answer the phone on a thursday afternoon before the 4th of July - he told me he was the employee that painted the tub, they stood by the work, and he would call me back as soon as possible to schedule the "fix".  In the mean time, crickets.  I called again and finally left a message for the man telling him that I assumed his silence meant that there is a warranty that he intends not to honor.  A simple response here would have gone a long way.   <br /> The work was below second class and the work ethic even lower.  I'm sure he'll reply back that he doesn't know anything about his work, I am mistaken and must have the wrong provider.  I moved here out of state, so unless the previous owners whipped out a can of spray paint, did the work themselves, then got on their printer and made a nice home-made looking business card, AND hired someone to answer this guys phone when the owner went on vacation for the 4th of July, I'd say he's the guilty party.  This business is obviously p***-poor based on the other reviews.  The quality of his work and inability to follow up with issues leaves much do be desired.  I'm searching out another provider on Angie's list with reputable reviews and realizing i'll pay a premium to fix this mess.   <br /> Buyer beware here.   Big time.  Don't say you weren't warned. <br />

If you want a bath tub painted, simply buy a can of epoxy paint but don't use All Bright Tub Refinishing in the Memphis Area.  He did very little surface prep.  He didn't fill any worn spots or holes.  He didn't remove any caulk from around the tub he just painted on top of existing piles of caulk.  He simply taped off and painted my tub.  His 'paint job' peeled around the entire rim where it meets the tile within the first month.  It started peeling inside the tub itself this past month.  I called the owner who said he would call me back once he got back to the office... and here I am.    He was a nice guy, but not very knowledgeable about his craft.   I was in a pinch time wise or I might have stopped him and continued my search for a more reputable company.   He was rated by Angie's List as the top vendor in my area at the time, trust me, find someone else.   <br />

I had a very pleasant experience with them. They came when they said they would and they did a quick job. The bathtub looked good, but the next day I noticed areas that were rough and not smoothly finished. I called to tell them and someone came back to fix it. It still isn't 100% fixed.

The crew was on time and very efficient in getting the job done in about 3.5 hours.  They made sure everything was covered so the over spray would not harm the floor and other items.   They were very knowledgeable about the process and very professional.  The owner stopped by to make sure everything was going ok and suggested the drain pipe on the sink be removed rather than sprayed with the coating to keep it from chipping. <br />

It looks new!  He was cheerful, professional, courteous, helpful.  He has the kind of face that just radiates cheer.

I really liked them; they were very nice, very clean and very cordial.  What stood out about them was they were willing to work around whatever I needed them to do.  It was a rental property and nobody was living there; so they had a free run of the place.  They did the work in the allotted amount of time they told me they were going to do it in.  Everything turned out excellently.  I did do a little comparative shopping and they were the best ones.

They put the wrong color on it. The charged us for what they did, and they did not come back to put the right color. I would not use them again without a clear understanding of what they are supposed to be doing.

except for taking a week to respond everything else was perfect, great price, 1 1/2 hours on site, professional, call to say on the way. Nothing to complain and with discount 225.00 cant beat that and 5 year warranty

It's a pleasure to do business with people that schedule the job within a reasonable time frame, show up on time and ready to work, do a great job in a couple hours with no muss and no fuss, at the price quoted without any unexpected extra fees- $295 to refinish the tub if it's not necessary to strip it first, $395 if it has to be stripped.  I knew it would have to be stripped since someone with poor DIY skills had tried to refinish the tub before and the finish was flaking badly. Looking at the December 2011 review I'd say I was charged an extra $45, which is reasonable considering I'm about 45 minutes north of Memphis. I've had to have a tub pulled out and replaced before, it cost an arm and two legs and the bathroom was torn up for days. This is so much better. My tenant is happy, I'm happy, and from now on I'll be calling All Brite whenever one of my properties needs a bathroom update.

Called Dennis about redoing my tub.  He was very helpful and accommodating.   He showed exactly when he said he would.  They did a great job on the tub and now it looks like new.  He was only there about 2 hours.  Overall it was an excellent experience.

I contacted the company on a Wednesday and was able to schedule an appointment for the next week. They showed up on time - the owner and one other individual - and got immediately to work. Since I had tried to refinish my tub on my own when I bought my house, they had to strip the remaining product, which cost an additonal $100 but overall the price was still very reasonable. They removed the existing caulk and re-caukled the tub, and then got to work putting on the new finish. They were completely finished within a couple of hours. They use some sort of contraption that pulls out the fumes from the enamel and a good bit of the overspray, so there wasn't much mess to clean up, and by the next day the smell was completely gone. After 24 hours I was using my brand-new-looking tub, and it looks fantastic. The only problem is that the tub looks SO good, that it makes the old tile on the wall look even older... They left me with full care instructions for cleaning, etc., and the finish comes with a 5-year warrany. So I feel confident that if I ever have any issues that they will be taken care of.
