First, let me start off by saying I DID NOT WANT TO USE THIS VENDOR! My warranty company told me that I HAD to use them, since I put in a service request online and it could not be changed. Once the contractor arrived at my home with his assistant, the day after the refrigerator stopped cooling, he started pulling the trays, out of the freezer door and begin working internally on the unit. I was home the entire time of service. Once he stated that he was done with the refrigerator, he stated that he was just going to turn it up as high as possible, until the temp came back up within 24 hours. At that time, I asked him was water dispenser and icemaker going to start working? (because at that point, the water dispenser wasn't working when I tested it.) He then stated, "No, you will need to buy a new filter to get that to work...) What?? I have never had to do that, and it's ALWAYS worked! He was about to start gathering his things to leave, when I also told him that he needed to repair the microwave and oven as well. (since this would be one appliance service call.) He was frustrated, but changed the light only on my microwave, and bulb in the oven (which he told he that I must have "broken" because of the way it was sitting in the compartment. What?? I asked him at that time, how can I break something that's in the rear of the gas oven, in a enclosed designated area? Above all, how can you say anyone BROKE it?? After he stated that he was done with everything, he asked me to look for an email from the warranty company BEFORE he leaves - I needed to respond to it. I wasn't sure what he was referring to, so once we waited another 10 minutes or so (yes he waited standing next to me) I got an email from the warranty company to rate his service - he was waiting for me to rate him BEFORE he left!!!! The next morning my refrigerator was freezing - right down to the crisper sections, so I had to throw all of the items that were in there (and since MARCH 1) away! The entire refrigerator is like one big freezer. I immediately called the contractor and told him what was going on, and he reluctantly stated that he would come back out - oh, and stood by the water filter/icemaker still weren't working due to the filters after the second visit, leaving dirt on my floor, rugs disorganized and drinking bottles in my sink! Who does this type of work?? Long story shortened - I called the warranty company to complain and they sent a second opinion vendor to follow-up. Once he arrived, he called me at work to tell me that my "baffle" was missing, so that's why the air was going into the refrigerated section of my refrigerator, as well as why my water lines were frozen! (hence no water or icemaker) The warranty company then returned a call to the All City Repair, who they then stated that it wasn't there when they were they too and also stated that I must have removed it!!! I guess they just forgot to put it on their report, as well as tell me when they were at my house!! How would I know to remove something like this from wherever it was located in my refrigerator? It's insulting to me as a customer. If they broke it or removed it, they should have just stated it. The 2nd vendor told me immediately that it was missing and now the warranty company is denying my claim to fix or replace my refrigerator!! They are actually believing this particular contractor, with poor ratings, over me as a long-term customer! This is absolutely horrendous...I am still without a refrigerator and will be seeking legal advice on this matter.

I cannot fathom how a company with personnel this rude is still in business! Our washing machine needed repairs and this company was contracted by my home warrant company. The short version of the story is this; the first technician made it clear he didn't want to do the repair and I should take the cash-out option from my home warranty. Then he never contacted me when the part needed didn't come in on time and lied to me about it and tried to push the blame onto my home warranty company. After the repair didn't work, he never followed through with me or my home warranty about. When I called to find out why, the person I spoke to on the phone lied to me again, tried to deflect blame and then hung up on me when I asked to speak to his supervisor. What horrible service. I would never recommend this company! And I will make a point to tell people not to use them! For our first appointment we were given a four hour service window (which seems excessive to me). During this visit the technician decided there was a problem with the motor. Being a mechanic, my husband had already, using the owner's manual, diagnosed the machine as having a bad control panel. He had also tested the motor and found no problems. We went with their diagnosis and waited for the part to come in. We were originally told about 2 weeks. Three weeks later I had to call to find out what was going on and was told the part would be in in two days. Two days later I call and am told the part is on backorder and won't be in for another 4 days. Also, they stated they had already told my home warranty this and that it was their responsibility to inform me. I immediately called them and they stated they hadn't been contacted by this company for over 3 weeks. The part finally comes and and the technician comes to do the repair. This technician was very nice and worked very quickly. Unfortunately, the repair didn't work and he told me he now thought the problem was in the transmission. The transmission was a special order part and would take at least another 3 weeks. (At this point, I've already been without a washing machine for over 5 weeks.) He said he needed to take the work order back and submit it to my home warranty company to check on the coverage. Five days later I call my home warranty to see what the status is and they say they haven't heard from them. I call All City and am forced to leave a message because no one can manage to answer the phone. I wait all day and never get a call back. Just before 5pm I call again and speak to Ryan (?). He tells me they have ordered the part. I asked if this had been submitted to my home warranty and he tells me no. I explain what I was told by the other technician. He starts making things up and flat out lies to me twice in the conversation, and when I called him on it and asked for an explanation, he backpedals and talks over me. I ask him to submit whatever is needed to my home warranty and he says he doesn't have that information because the technician still has it and it will take up to 48 hours to notify them. What!?! Then how do you know what part is needed or how long it will take? When I finally get fed up with being lied to and talked over, I ask for his name (Ryan) and his position (manager) and then ask to speak to his supervisor. He tells me there is no one else there. I ask for his supervisor's name and he tells me he can't give that information out. When I tell him that is ludicrous, he hangs up on me! Will absolutely, under no circumstances, ever deal with this company again! Horrible service.

Bad, the technician told us to just add extra rinsing agent although the dispenser door would not open during the wash cycle nor does it close at all. We manually have to press it tight and many times it still opens and would not close. Worst part when my wife called the manager there told her that this is not labeled as a mechanical problem and he was extremely rude to my wife and would not even answer her questions. Bad service, bad technician knowledge, liars and rude. My wife told them that we will never ever use them again. Stay away from this company.

<p>I was not very happy with their work.  They came twice.  They charged me for the thermostat. The next day it stopped and then they charged me for the control panel. I got upset and asked why the guy before did not diagnosis that. I wasn't very happy with that. For the price they did not do a good job. They came out really fast. The workers were professional. They should have done the right diagnostic the first time instead they had to come twice and I had to spend money twice. That's cheating.</p>

The visit went well and the service person was on time.  The first diagnosis was not correct and a defroster part was ordered and replaced.  The problem was not corrected.  A second visit was required and the action taken at that time corrected the blocked drain hose problem.  We have not had any problem since the 2d repair visit. <br />

Their customer service was lacking a little bit. I had to keep following up with them about a part that needed to be ordered. The technician did a good job. I was happy with the end result.

Provider contacted me to schedule appointment.  The technician came when they said he would.  Immediately diagnosed the problem (faulty solenoid).  Had the needed part on the truck, so was able to repair it immediately.  Charged no labor beyond the deal price, and approximately $60 for the part. <br />

Our old Kenmore washer started making horrible noises.  Bailed it out and contacted our home warranty company, Old Republic.  They sent our request to one of their contractors, Appliance Protection, LLC .  Old Republic said that I would hear from Appliance Protection, LLC by that afternoon.  I didn't hear back from Appliance Protection, LLC. so that evening I called and explained that I was covered by Old Republic and was told that they had not been contacted by Old Republic. I was put on their schedule for the following day.  As promised, Sam showed up within the time period I was given.  He had the part with him and was able to make the repair quickly.  His fee was $75, which is the cost to us through our Old Republic coverage <br />

I will be short, concise and to the point. My dishwasher stopped working, I called All City Appliance Repair, a"technician" came in and checked it and said that the control panel was defective.....took the old one and stated he had to order the part. two weeks later he showed up with the panel and installed it. The machine worked for a little while and stopped working after two days. The same situation happened two more times. So after one motor and three control panels installed, my dishwasher still does not work. They bluntly refused to return to repair the washer. I called the warranty company and they are sending a tech from another company to repair the dishwasher. Bottom line: This company came to my house 4 times, attempted to repair the dishwasher, they could not ; so they decided not to return because the "washer was working." My dishwasher still does not work. If there was such grade as F-, that is the grade this irresponsibles would get from me.

The repairman showed up and said that he could replace the ice maker, that there are a lot of these that have problems and need to be replaced, that it is very common. When I asked if he was going to use a better quality unit or replace the problemmatic one with the same exact problemmatic one, he looked at me with a blank stare. He replaced the problem unit with the same exact problemmatic unit. <br /> He charged me $160 for the replacement ice maker. I checked Amazon and they list the price at $85.96, so this company charged DOUBLE: <br /> http://www.amazon.com/General-Electric-IM6-Ice-Maker/dp/B008YDSRZK <br /> Having paid a "discounted" rate from Angie's list, I got charged double for the ice maker unit. <br /> When I asked the repairman if this would fix the problem he said maybe. That if this didn't work we could try to replace the water filter and if that didn't work we could try replacing the water line. I said "Sounds like we are just guessing and replacing things randomly". He said no, that there was an error code on the ice maker and once replaced the error code went away. <br /> The ice maker still doesn't work. <br />
